Our favorite place to camp. On a side note we are the group that the kids plan the wiffel ball for all the kids. This year they made t shirts and trophies. My grandson suggested you make an official wiffle ball area! lol. Thanks for your hospitality.

I loved the campground. Staff is very nice the bathroom and showers were so clean. I would definately reccomend you to go.

- Internet was not sufficient to support steaming, but was advertised to replace cable - Next door neighbor had 4 dogs that barked loudly whenever a leaf fell or someone walked by. Is there a limit on number of dogs per site?

We stayed the week before Memorial Day, so the campground was very quiet. On Friday, we discovered our toilet was leaking. The store had a brochure for a Mobile RV repair service, but it was already closed. My husband asked one of the workers about it. He went up to the store to get the information for us, and highly recommended the service. We appreciated him going above and beyond.

Nice place!!! bathrooms are clean and sanitized as well, campground is clean and spacious. I loved the late night train running threw the campground, i consider that a free bonus!!

Our favorite campground! The campground is nicely wooded so shade is ample and the scenery is beautiful! The staff is friendly and helpful. 10/10 no notes!

We visit this campground every year, it’s one of our favorites. It’s peaceful, the playground is wonderful, the facilities are always sparkling clean, and the campstore is great. This year we had a mishap 100 feet from the entrance & needed to change the tire on our camper. The employees came to the rescue & helped us get the wheel on so we could get into our spot. They were wonderful!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE SITE WE HAD. I WAS VERY AMAZED AT THE CONDITION OF THIS CAMPGROUND! VERY WELL MAINTAINED AND TENDED TO. STAFF WAS VERY ATTENTIVE AND HELPFUL. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK WHEN WE VENTURE TO THIS NECK OF THE WOODS IN THE FUTURE!!! HOPE TO GET THE SAME SITE ... LOVED THE TRAIN!!! I AM A RAILROAD ENTHUSIAST AND THOROUGHLY ENJOY ALL TYPES OF RAILROAD ACTIVITIES.

Love This Place Close to Local Beaches, Close to Tawas for Shopping and Oscoda is Really Growing As Well. This KOA Has The Most Friendly Staff Ever !!!!

I absolutely "loved" my stay!! By far the best camping experience I have had! Great staff, clean facilities, and awesome Wifi! The dog park is a plus as well. Last fall I reserved 2 nights and stayed for 8 nights...that speaks for itself! I will most definitely be back. Thank you Oscoda/Tawas KOA!

We had a wonderful stay! The campground hosts were amazing and very accommodating. The campground was very nice, the bathrooms were very clean, and our cabin was adorable! We look forward to coming back in the future.

We enjoyed that the camp wasn’t manicured it is left more natural. Only complaint which is all KOAs is that when sitting outside have to look at the neighbors hook ups. Would be nice if there was a screen or something.

Nice camp. Lots of amenities but most were closed. Train goes passed twice an evening. Really noisy. The site we were on was sloped and little grass.

All was great. Had an electrical problem, but once the breaker was replaced it worked fine. Staff is very responsive. Lots to do in the area. Be aware, there are trains going through right by the campground.

Easy to locate. Clean and laid out well. Campground was very quiet (September). On site store and things for kids. Resturants and groceries close by. Great place for base for travel up M23 and the Ausable. We enjoyed dinner and shopping in East Tawas. Will definitely go back.

We loved our five day four night stay and a rustic cabin. We chose the two room cabin and it was cozy, warm, and dry. When we arrived, they were waiting on us and so friendly. Dale took us to our spot and let us settle in. They deliver firewood and ice to your campsite. The pool was clean and heated. So even though it was a little cool outside, my daughter still enjoyed swimming. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had hot water. The only disappointment was the game room because you had to pay for the games. They had pool, air, hockey, and some arcade style video games. My favorite part of the campground was how quiet it was. I could sit on the porch swing in the morning with my coffee and just listen to nature. And additional bonus was there is a train that goes by twice at night. We were lucky to be able to watch it pass on the last night and wave to the conductor. We enjoyed going into Ocsoda and Tawas For shopping and dining. I would definitely come back here again. It was a wonderful experience.

Great people, very helpful. They come around and pick up your garbage and will deliver firewood. There is a train that goes by every night that is pretty loud and close but is gone quickly.

We LOVED our stay at the campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin that was very clean and cozy. Our 3 year old was super excited to sleep on the bunk bed. There was lots for him to do. The staff was all friendly and caring. We had some potential nasty weather coming, the owners made sure everyone knew it was coming and was prepared. The camp store had lots of goodies, which I could have dropped a lot of money there. Thanks for a great stay!
