QUICK WEEKEND TRIP, STAYED A COUPLE NIGHTS VERY CLEAN FACILITY, ALOT OF THINGS TODAY AT THIS PARK FOR YOUNGER KIDS STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY..WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN

The campground is beautiful and quiet. Really cool to see and hear the trains go by. We video with the phone and sent it to our 3 year old grand babies and they absolutely loved it! Bathrooms spotless. The hand dryers REALLY need replaced though. Friendly staff and impeccable delivery service. Thank you!�

On our camping trip my husband ended up in the hospital. Since I can't haul our camper they allowed us to keep our camper there for a few days until my husband got out of the hospital. We appreciated that so much!!

Amazing campground with amazing staff! We really enjoyed our stay there, recommend this campground to everyone who wants to relax and enjoy the park. This is our yearly place to go. Something for everyone to enjoy young and old!

The people at the KOA were very friendly & helpful. They delivered ��� wood as we ordered it, picked up our trash, asked if they could do anything for us. It was very well taken care of, the bathrooms were clean. We look forward to staying here again and would recommend this KOA to everyone!

It was clear that this koa's location was quite the gem and likely the reason for it at one time being named the number one KOA in Michigan. Camp store - fairly nice. I was not greeted when I entered. Cabin - not cleanest I've seen and poorly appointed. Bathroom - pretty clean. Kids liked amenities. Mike & another staff were super helpful. We enjoyed it. Privacy was it's #1 feature. We'll be back.

KOA amenities close when they feel like and not at posted times. There is a employee who lives at a campsite who goes through camper folks trash and resells there items at his campsite. Dirty cabin, looks as if no one cleans them before check in.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This is not true. Our outside staff colollects bottles and cans for charities in the area. Yes, sometimes they go through the garbage to get them. We would never allow anyone to sell items at the sites. Our hours are posted and our cabins are very clean

Beautiful campground! Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots to do for kids. There was plenty of room at the sites and it was a very clean campground. Definitely would recommend. Campground close to both Tawas and Oscoda.

The site was clean, spacious, and as described. There is a train track nearby we didn't find it too bothersome though. We only heard 1 train during our overnight stay. The staff was outstanding. SHOUT OUT to the sweet helpful couple that was there on the morning of the July 2. We hope to travel back to this location!

Great location and great staff. Some of the sites were pretty unlevel for fifth wheels and travel trailers, but overall it was a great experience. They do a ton of stuff for little kids.

This was our first time at the Oscoda/Tawas KOA. The facilities are very nice and the staff was great. Look forward to our next stay!

The staff was amazing, wonderful people & made our stay far more enjoyable. They were attentive, friendly, & punctual with deliveries. Issues: Most of campground is not ADA friendly/compliant. No poured sites (gravel). Concrete patio had drop-offs. Not all bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. Playground had no accessible amenities. Active train track & whistle blow; once at 9:30PM & at 11:30PM.

We really enjoyed our first stay at the Oscoda/tawas koa. The owners are very kind and friendly, our cabin was clean and the campground was quiet (we left as most were coming in for the holiday). Our kids enjoyed the bounce pillow and loved the arcade games. We would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to be back again.

Crammed together, have to walk through other's camp sites. Train run through night next to camp, air conditioner did not work. We left 3 days early because it was awful.

Grounds are well maintained. Bathroom facilities are clean and bright. The pool and surrounding area are well maintained and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The park was very quiet for the most part. There was a nightly train that was a pleasant surprise. Our only complaint was that the seasonal campers did not adhere to park rules, ie., dogs barking loudly.

This was our 2nd visit to your campground and both times have far exceeded our expectations- I mentioned “I love it here” so often my hubby started making fun of me �Ϝ. The campground is quiet, relaxing and clean. The staff (we remembered some from last year) are top notch and are super welcoming and kind - we will be back!

Our family hasn't been camping in a couple years due to the kids being babies and it just being more work then enjoyment. They are all bigger now 4yrs up, and everyone had a blast. Not one time did someone say they wanted to go home. The pool was clean, we went mining, they loved the train ride and the firetruck ride too! Clean bathrooms as well! Thank you, I'm sure we will be back again soon!

We loved our five day four night stay and a rustic cabin. We chose the two room cabin and it was cozy, warm, and dry. When we arrived, they were waiting on us and so friendly. Dale took us to our spot and let us settle in. They deliver firewood and ice to your campsite. The pool was clean and heated. So even though it was a little cool outside, my daughter still enjoyed swimming. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had hot water. The only disappointment was the game room because you had to pay for the games. They had pool, air, hockey, and some arcade style video games. My favorite part of the campground was how quiet it was. I could sit on the porch swing in the morning with my coffee and just listen to nature. And additional bonus was there is a train that goes by twice at night. We were lucky to be able to watch it pass on the last night and wave to the conductor. We enjoyed going into Ocsoda and Tawas For shopping and dining. I would definitely come back here again. It was a wonderful experience.

Great people, very helpful. They come around and pick up your garbage and will deliver firewood. There is a train that goes by every night that is pretty loud and close but is gone quickly.

We LOVED our stay at the campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin that was very clean and cozy. Our 3 year old was super excited to sleep on the bunk bed. There was lots for him to do. The staff was all friendly and caring. We had some potential nasty weather coming, the owners made sure everyone knew it was coming and was prepared. The camp store had lots of goodies, which I could have dropped a lot of money there. Thanks for a great stay!
