Very family oriented campground. Prompt on needs of campers from wood ice help setting up campsite they really look out for people at this place we love it so much we became seasonal campers �. You cannot find a better campground for service cleanliness clean pool level campsites. Great internet and tv service we use Roku. Location is the best with Lake Huron right around the corner.

I had a wonderful time during my 2 month stay at Oscoda / Tawas KOA. I would like very much to return next season!!! Everyone on your staff that I interacted with was kind and helpful. Good job!!

The campground was extremely appealing, with lots of mature trees, and broad spaces between sites. It's very apparent that the owners work hard to create a pleasant, welcoming environment throughout the campground. It's obviously a labor of love for them. We look forward to recommending this beautiful spot to all of our friends who enjoy camping.

This was a wonderful stop! Our one-night stay turned into three with our 3-year-old granddaughter. Plenty to do, great memories made. Next summer, this will be one of our first stops. We’re already looking forward to return next spring! regards from the Klein family.

The peace and quiet is what we seek, and we were not disappointed. The staff is wonderful and treated us as family. Your compassion about what you do is evident. Whether you want to be out and about or just stay put, Oscoda has it. Nature calls. The sunrise on Lake Huron is amazing! We highly recommend your campground! Very well managed and clean park. was there sept 21-23 and it was so peaceful� enjoyed campfire and cocktails! did have a bid branch break off an oak tree and broke one awning arm but Mike and his family were awesome! took pictures for insurance and cut up wood so we could burn in our fire-pit plus gave us a couple bundles of wood on the house for being so chill about incident. Want to go back next year with kids and grandkids

Nice looking park, friendly staff. Very helpful in setting up and assisting in the return of lost items. Negatives are lack of grass, and lights to help light the meandering roads through the park. Big negative is the late night trains rumbling 30-40 feet from our campsite at just before 11 pm.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were escorted to our campsite and they helped guide us to park even. It was quiet enough to sleep and the kids stayed entertained.

The campground was quiet and secluded from the city, we definitely enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The grounds were well kept, and the employees were very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely peaceful and quiet. Really enjoy the train when it comes rolling by right next to the campground. The staff is friendly and quick to respond why anything you might need. The KOA team maintain their facilities cleanliness. We’ve already made our reservation for next year.

Great campground in a very convenient spot. Hookups are where you would want them to be and internet is lightning fast - though at the time of year that we visited (fall) there were not a lot of campers there.

Quiet and peaceful with a lot of trees and some have more space in between than others.Site 122 is great except it’svery close to site next door. All employees were very pleasant! Train comes through twice on weeknights and blows its horn. Didn’t bother us. We were surprised bathhouse near us was locked especially on customer appreciation weekend. Other bathrooms were clean and has a nice stor

Great place. Train is a little close but only comes by once a day, around 9:30PM. Owners were great.

Awesome secluded campground, but still close to town, with incredible wifi and top notch staff. We live a couple towns over, but had never been to this KOA since its so close. We decided to check it out-- and WOWWWWW. Proud to say our area's KOA is one of the best! Also so appreciative for their graciousness to our visitors. I did not anticipate having ~6 guests stop by that day, but the staff was so welcoming. Thank you!

I stayed at the Oscoda KOA just for one night, as I was on my way home, and I needed to find a spot where I could make it home the next day. The tent sites are laid out a little weird, but the service was great; I arrived "after hours," and as soon as I'd collected my night registration materials and found my tent site, I had firewood delivered, and was asked if everything was good! I wasn't expecting "after hours" check in, and I appreciated it. The restrooms and showers were clean and the store was inviting and had a good selection of souvenirs and "I forgot this"/"I need to replace this" items. This is definitely a place I'd stay again. PS. I understand there are train tracks next to the campground, but I'm also used to that because 1) most campgrounds I've stayed at over the past 15 years are close/next to train tracks, so that doesn't factor into my rating, and 2) I'm literally deaf in one ear, and often sleep in such a way that my hearing ear is blocked... so I don't even notice the noise.
