A little disappointed in the visitor vs third adult rule. I had to pay an additional $25 for my son to stay with us, but a “visitor” would have paid a one time charge of $5 to visit me anytime during my entire stay

Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet atmosphere (except for train traffic at night). We enjoyed our site with the wetland behind us. Nice location near Lake Huron, Oscoda and Tawas. Clean pool, fun activities for kids. Restrooms appeared to be cleaned regularly, but showers especially could be cleaned better.

Our stay overall was great! The rustic site we visited was well-maintained and had a good view. Our kids enjoyed the barrel train ride, pool, jumping pillow, and bicycles. Our dog loved the K9 park. Overall, nice place! One thing that was a challenge is that people kept coming over and walking onto our site to let their dogs relieve themselves, which was not very considerate. Staff was friendly.

Very quiet, relaxing place to stay with large sites. Nice, helpful employees. It’s a great campground with very clean amenities.

The campground staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. The campground is meticulously clean. It's family and pet-friendly. Patrons respect the rules. It's very quiet. The only disruption came from the nearby live train tracks. We had a wonderful stay.

We stayed here to attend wedding in Tawas City. We were here for 6 days. The campground was in tip top condition. Clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even delivered ice and wood to the site and had daily trash pick up. The only real down side was it is located right next to a railroad track. The train would come late at night x2.

Exceptionally clean cabin! Comfortable beds and convenient kitchen supplies. Friendly camping neighbors and good kids, all playing and making friends nicely. We will be back!

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Nice site with shade. Easy to level. Clean restrooms & laundry facility. Only issue was very loud buddy campers by our campsite. During the day and evening they would yell down the road at each other& played music loudly. Had at least 25 people (adults & kids) at their camp site one evening. 10 to 12 all the time. Guess you can’t teach camping manners.

This is one of our favorite parks! We stay here every year in July for our group family vacation.

The swimming pool is just bigger than a postage stamp, if 8 people are at the pool it is crowded. All the sites are dirt, making it difficult to level your RV. 50 Amp, water & sewer were fine. Driving a 45-foot RV through the park was easy, due to the owner clearing the overhead trees and ensuring roads were cleared for bigger units. Overall the stay was just Ok, nothing fancy.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our pool capacity is 50 people per state regulation.

Wonderful campground and the staff are great.

We rented three cabins for a family trip, including a six-month old Irish Setter puppy. This is the nicest, most comfortable KOA we've stayed at! There is a lot to do nearby but also loads of fun to be had at the campsite itself. The dog park is a great feature. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We will be back!

We love this campground so much. It’s central to everything we want to do when we visit. Lots of stuff to do when we are in the campground and the camp store is awesome!

Streaming internet in place of cable TV is a great idea. The only problem was Saturday night when the system was overloaded.

Everything was lovely. They just need larger bathrooms so folks don’t have to wait in the mornings.

The Oscoda Tawas KOA is one of our favorite campgrounds. It's well maintained and offers nice amenities. If you like trains, this campground has one train that runs twice a night. The conductor is very friendly and waves and toots the horn at all of the kids and adults who wave to her. Fun to watch.

Site 157. Quiet, clean, pad level, friendly staff. Restrooms clean. Relatively bug free even being next to the woods. Would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable campground with nice amenitities. Friendly staff.

False advertising that you have Cable Tv & you really switched to wireless so now the camper has to have a Streaming account! We use to stay here every year, but won’t be back because of that

Everything was great. Not sure if you guys can spray the grassy areas to cut down on mosquitos would be my only recommendation. All staff members were pleasant and helpful.

We loved our five day four night stay and a rustic cabin. We chose the two room cabin and it was cozy, warm, and dry. When we arrived, they were waiting on us and so friendly. Dale took us to our spot and let us settle in. They deliver firewood and ice to your campsite. The pool was clean and heated. So even though it was a little cool outside, my daughter still enjoyed swimming. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had hot water. The only disappointment was the game room because you had to pay for the games. They had pool, air, hockey, and some arcade style video games. My favorite part of the campground was how quiet it was. I could sit on the porch swing in the morning with my coffee and just listen to nature. And additional bonus was there is a train that goes by twice at night. We were lucky to be able to watch it pass on the last night and wave to the conductor. We enjoyed going into Ocsoda and Tawas For shopping and dining. I would definitely come back here again. It was a wonderful experience.

Great people, very helpful. They come around and pick up your garbage and will deliver firewood. There is a train that goes by every night that is pretty loud and close but is gone quickly.

We LOVED our stay at the campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin that was very clean and cozy. Our 3 year old was super excited to sleep on the bunk bed. There was lots for him to do. The staff was all friendly and caring. We had some potential nasty weather coming, the owners made sure everyone knew it was coming and was prepared. The camp store had lots of goodies, which I could have dropped a lot of money there. Thanks for a great stay!
