This is our 4th stay at the KOA in Oscoda and we love it so much we are going back next year for our 5th stay. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The park is in a tree setting that is relaxing and beautiful. I would recommend this campground to anyone who loves the tree like setting and rustic feel with all the amenities.

The patio near the cabin we rented was not conveniently located. Would like to be able to pay extra for bedding and towels so we didn't have to carry so much.

We stay there every year in cabins. They are always clean and well stocked. The owners and staff are very helpful and kind. There is a lot to do within the campground and nearby as well. The pool is clean and heated and I would highly recommend this experience to everyone.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the best experiences I've had at a campground in a long time. You can definitely tell the employees care about the company as well as the customers. The camp site was very cool. Plenty of room and clean. Great all around experience.

We loved our time here! Our site with the deluxe patio was beautiful and everything worked well. We even enjoyed the trains!

The staff were friendly, the site are decent size, and the grounds and bathrooms were clean. The only bummer: The Game room had a lovely old timey feel, but most of the games were not functioning properly and ate your quarters. I will definitely still come back.

This place was great. Pool was the cleanest pool we have swam in. Nice that it was heated because it was only in the 70s that day. I was a little surprised by the train tracks right by our camp site but it wasn't an issue at all. Actually wish the train came by during the day for the kiddos to see it. Rec center could have a few more little kid friendly video games, the juke box was a nice touch.

Oscoda/Tawas KOA has become a favorite of my wife; we have stayed there on 3 separate occasions and have another stay reserved for this season and more planned for next season. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Oscoda local restaurants have great food and atmosphere, ALWAYS support local!

Was not a terrible stay, the buddy sites are such a good idea. They accommodated my date changes too. But, we would have loved to use our golf cart, which is the reason for 3 stars. The location being by a train track wasn’t ideal. We stayed during the week so we didn’t get to experience activities (husband works weekends so we had to stay during week). Great place for adults to relax!

Not a bad campground at all. We stayed in a cabin that said had a kitchen but had no stove top to cook on. Bunk beds had mouse droppings in the corners under mattress and smelled like mildew.

Very clean and quiet. There is a nightly train that runs right next to the campground, but it is not a big deal. The pool is small but clean. Bath house was clean.

Could not have asked for a nicer vacation. The staff were wonderful and the facility was clean and well taken care of. The pool made for a fun afternoon and it's close to everything.

Very nice park that provided us with everything we needed for our stay in the area. Great welcoming facility, site was level and we had a nice concrete patio. The trash pick up was a great added touch - wish more campgrounds did this!

Very nice well maintained campground with great amenities for families with children. Owners and staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Another great stay! The camp is clean, the staff is always so friendly and helpful. We all love the pool and the arcade. There are a few games at the arcade that could use some attention as they were not working. Overall we love this KOA and have made it our annual trip up north for the past few years and will continue to do so!!

Fantastic location, out of the way, hosts were so unbelievably kind, quiet, restrooms were self contained units with showers, very clean.. could not ask for anything better. For us it was only one night, but we would have been very happy with a week or more

Awesome secluded campground, but still close to town, with incredible wifi and top notch staff. We live a couple towns over, but had never been to this KOA since its so close. We decided to check it out-- and WOWWWWW. Proud to say our area's KOA is one of the best! Also so appreciative for their graciousness to our visitors. I did not anticipate having ~6 guests stop by that day, but the staff was so welcoming. Thank you!

I stayed at the Oscoda KOA just for one night, as I was on my way home, and I needed to find a spot where I could make it home the next day. The tent sites are laid out a little weird, but the service was great; I arrived "after hours," and as soon as I'd collected my night registration materials and found my tent site, I had firewood delivered, and was asked if everything was good! I wasn't expecting "after hours" check in, and I appreciated it. The restrooms and showers were clean and the store was inviting and had a good selection of souvenirs and "I forgot this"/"I need to replace this" items. This is definitely a place I'd stay again. PS. I understand there are train tracks next to the campground, but I'm also used to that because 1) most campgrounds I've stayed at over the past 15 years are close/next to train tracks, so that doesn't factor into my rating, and 2) I'm literally deaf in one ear, and often sleep in such a way that my hearing ear is blocked... so I don't even notice the noise.
