Helpful and friendly staff (where to dine and find good prices on diesel fuel). Excellent Wifi coverage, which can't be said about most campgrounds. The concrete patio was so beneficial in reducing the dirt in my RV. The only thing I found "unenjoyable" was the train that comes within feet of the campground twice daily between 9-11pm M-F. Very loud and especially surprising the first night.

We love staying at the Oscoda/Tawas KOA. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The outdoor and indoor areas along with the restrooms are clean and tidy. Would highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Would have liked to have the store carry rubbing alcohol that we needed for my husband's glucose monitoring system that we needed to switch and needed to clean with alcohol. Also expected to find spaghetti noodles too but that was not a big deal. Otherwise, I would have rated a 5. Still enjoyed our time there.

The stay this past weekend was perfect. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The lodging was very clean and organized. As well as all of the camp amenities. Highly recommend

All of the workers were extremely kind and helpful. Our site was clean and exactly how it was described. We would definitely recommend staying at this KOA to others.

Great and friendly people that take care of the campground. The campgrounds and sites are very clean and well maintained from top to bottom. We were met at the front door by an employee holding the door open for us and welcoming us to their KOA Campground. Then we were escorted to our site and guided into a smooth level site with a cement patio. Thank you for everything you did! We will be back!

We love this KOA - we have stayed her several times over the last 4 years. Staff are friendly and they do a great job on keeping the grounds clean.

This was our first visit to a KOA. There was quite a bit for children to do which is wonderful. I would have like to of seen a cleaner site. Perhaps more grass. There were lots of nice surprises for children throughout the weekend.

We loved this place. Even my kids who never "play" spent hours at the playground having a blast. The staff there is amazing as well. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

Sites are a comfortable size…little bit more grass would be nice. A lot of mud if it rains. Deluxe cabin was immaculate. So very clean and comfortable. Looked brand new. Loved it. Most of the staff is very friendly. There was one we weren’t crazy about and didn’t want to interact with. Our kids loved the jumping pillow and play area. Arcade was a nice surprise for them too!

Very old-style campground, small, dirty sites, almost no grass, and it was next to an active railroad, nightly trains. They need to upgrade this campground.

We were on a road trip with our Grandson to the East side of the state on our way to the UP and wanted an easy stay for one night. We loved the cabin and the bathrooms are great!!!! and bonus ...the store was real nice! Owners were so friendly! Cuddos to this KOA!

My back-in site was horribly unlevel front to back, I could not lower the front of the trailer low enough to make the trailer level. The entire site is slanted towards the swamp, the picnic table was unusable because the ground was so slanted. Worst KOA site I've ever been in over the past 26 years. On the plus side the bath room were generally clean.

We stayed as a family of 4 in a deluxe cabin. While having a small kitchen, bath was convenient I felt it was a little small for 4 of us. We have a toddler and baby who was in a bassinet. Next time I would rent a bigger cabin if they're open. When checking be sure to check the temp of your fridge ours was turned down for some reason and we had to throw away most of the food we bought.

Clean, nice staff, train only goes by occasionally and briefly. Great play ground and game room. Didn’t use laundry or bathrooms.

We don't spend time at the campground when we are here because we come to go canoeing and tour the surrounding area. We don't like to be nickeled and dimed for every little thing. Also, the extra charge for being near friends is ridiculously high and it you don't pay it, you are purposely placed as far from each other as possible. We are looking at a different campground for our next trip.

From the time we arrived we were warmly welcomed by check in staff. Campground was very clean and family friendly. We were grateful for the escort to our site and the daily pick up of trash. I can't say enough good things about this campground. Will definitely stay again. I've also told friends and family about our great experience and high recommendations.

This place was one of the best KOAs we have ever stayed at. Sites are large & NOT cramped. The vibe in the entire park was positive, family oriented & kid focused. The pool was wonderful. The bathrooms & showers have been redone & were gorgeous. One of the most well stocked & nice KOA stores I have ever seen. They had a train ride Saturday - even our 11 YO thought was fun. Very nice campground; only thing we didn't like was there is no stovetop to cook on in the deluxe cabin we rented; this made it hard to make meals for our family as there is only a microwave for cooking;

We loved our five day four night stay and a rustic cabin. We chose the two room cabin and it was cozy, warm, and dry. When we arrived, they were waiting on us and so friendly. Dale took us to our spot and let us settle in. They deliver firewood and ice to your campsite. The pool was clean and heated. So even though it was a little cool outside, my daughter still enjoyed swimming. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had hot water. The only disappointment was the game room because you had to pay for the games. They had pool, air, hockey, and some arcade style video games. My favorite part of the campground was how quiet it was. I could sit on the porch swing in the morning with my coffee and just listen to nature. And additional bonus was there is a train that goes by twice at night. We were lucky to be able to watch it pass on the last night and wave to the conductor. We enjoyed going into Ocsoda and Tawas For shopping and dining. I would definitely come back here again. It was a wonderful experience.

Great people, very helpful. They come around and pick up your garbage and will deliver firewood. There is a train that goes by every night that is pretty loud and close but is gone quickly.

We LOVED our stay at the campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin that was very clean and cozy. Our 3 year old was super excited to sleep on the bunk bed. There was lots for him to do. The staff was all friendly and caring. We had some potential nasty weather coming, the owners made sure everyone knew it was coming and was prepared. The camp store had lots of goodies, which I could have dropped a lot of money there. Thanks for a great stay!
