We enjoyed that the camp wasn’t manicured it is left more natural. Only complaint which is all KOAs is that when sitting outside have to look at the neighbors hook ups. Would be nice if there was a screen or something.

Nice camp. Lots of amenities but most were closed. Train goes passed twice an evening. Really noisy. The site we were on was sloped and little grass.

All was great. Had an electrical problem, but once the breaker was replaced it worked fine. Staff is very responsive. Lots to do in the area. Be aware, there are trains going through right by the campground.

Easy to locate. Clean and laid out well. Campground was very quiet (September). On site store and things for kids. Resturants and groceries close by. Great place for base for travel up M23 and the Ausable. We enjoyed dinner and shopping in East Tawas. Will definitely go back.

We’ve been here twice and have booked this for another stay next fall. Nice campground and friendly staff. They were very helpful too, when we needed a jump when the battery on our truck died.

Delivered wood very promptly. Although at times it was difficult to get a fire started. Wonderful place to stay. Hope you get the game room going again

We enjoyed touring the area! KOA hosts communicated store and office hours daily. Facilities very very clean, at least the ones we could use. We were not told bathrooms very close to us were closed for the season! We do have our own facilities, could’ve used the KOA facilities while We we’re getting ready to depart. also were not able to select our “Buddy” site. We were packed in a crowd

This KOA was immaculate. Super clean bathroom/showers/laundry. The grounds were well kept also. The host and grounds personnel were very pleasant. The store was well stocked. The evenings were very quiet except for when the train passed. Once the train passes, it’s back to peace and quiet. A must try. I stayed during the week at site 86.

We stayed in Kabin 6 and our neighbors were loud. The first 2 nights they were quiet by 11 but night 3 they were very loud past 11 and no one came to tell them to be quiet. I had a 2 year old and a 3 month old with me try to sleep and woken up by the the neighbors. I called the number and left a message and still nothing was done about it. I asked them to be quiet and they mocked me.

Very nice place. The staff are wonderful here. Very friendly. They escort you to your site, pick up your trash, deliver bundles of firewood. Bathrooms are updated and clean. We stayed in a cabin this time. That was very nice. The campground is not huge but a good size. It's clean and quite. There is plenty of things for the kids to do. I will be coming back to this KOA. Thank you for a wonderful.

Like years past, this KOA is the best. Come here each Labor Day weekend. Staff is always informative and friendly. Much to do in the area - hiking, Oscoda beach, tubing and Harrisville and Tawas art fairs.

Went smoothly- we had late arrival and paperwork was ready. Got settled in and checked out the area. Very nice lake towns and found great Chinese restaurant in Oscoda! A lot of things for kids to do. The train was a surprise when it rumbled past - fairly close to our site late at night. �

Pot smokers up wind from us , contacted front desk. They said that was OK with them if people smoke pot. They won't do anything to stop it

We have stayed here for almost 12 years in a row with usually a group. The staff is always extremely helpful and kind. The grounds are always kept up and the atmosphere is wonderful. Already have 2 long weekends planned for 2025. Cannot wait to return.

Awesome secluded campground, but still close to town, with incredible wifi and top notch staff. We live a couple towns over, but had never been to this KOA since its so close. We decided to check it out-- and WOWWWWW. Proud to say our area's KOA is one of the best! Also so appreciative for their graciousness to our visitors. I did not anticipate having ~6 guests stop by that day, but the staff was so welcoming. Thank you!

I stayed at the Oscoda KOA just for one night, as I was on my way home, and I needed to find a spot where I could make it home the next day. The tent sites are laid out a little weird, but the service was great; I arrived "after hours," and as soon as I'd collected my night registration materials and found my tent site, I had firewood delivered, and was asked if everything was good! I wasn't expecting "after hours" check in, and I appreciated it. The restrooms and showers were clean and the store was inviting and had a good selection of souvenirs and "I forgot this"/"I need to replace this" items. This is definitely a place I'd stay again. PS. I understand there are train tracks next to the campground, but I'm also used to that because 1) most campgrounds I've stayed at over the past 15 years are close/next to train tracks, so that doesn't factor into my rating, and 2) I'm literally deaf in one ear, and often sleep in such a way that my hearing ear is blocked... so I don't even notice the noise.
