We had never been to Northern Michigan and kind of took a shot in the dark as to where to stay and what to do. Talk about hitting a home run. From the pool (clean as a whistle) to the Gem Stone Mining, to the impromptu Vintage Firetuck Rides, to the unexpectedly good WiFi - this trip was everything we had hoped and more. Oscoda was amazing. We will be back for certain!

Is it possible to spray for mosquitoes. Other than that I loved it was great. Will be back. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The campground was very nice and quiet overall. Our site could have been more level. Would like to see an expanded bathroom area with more shower stalls and stalls in general at the back of the office/check in building. In my opinion, was too small for the volume of campers. The staff was outstanding! Greatly appreciated.

Not as nice as other KOA’s I have stayed at. There was a train that came through a couple times every night blowing it’s horn, Just wasn’t up to par with other KOA’s, also in a bad location off a swamp.

We stayed in cabin 37, very clean and comfortable, check in was fast and easy, I would definitely recommend staying here! Great campground, great owners. Thank you. Will be back.

Traveling south bound, my Garmin and iPhone GPS's routed me off the highway onto Mill Street which lead us to a closed section of the route. Suggest contacting GPS to resolve, https://www.gps.gov/support/user/mapfix/devices-and-maps/

Had to depart early and made a point of reaching out to the office to advise. We paid for 3 nights and stayed only one. Unlike other KOA facilities they refused to refund any of the funds we paid. Very disappointing. Additionally they fail to disclose on their website/catalog of the train that runs right next to campsites at 10 p.m. and again 45 minutes later. They did inform us at check-in

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Great campground and layout. The cabins are clean and equipped with mainly everything you could need. My kids and I had a great time and will be back.

Lovely campground! Fun stuff to do for the kids. The cabin we stayed in was well maintained and clean. Comfy bed too! Pool was wonderful. Staff is always friendly and accommodating

It was our first time at a KOA campground. It was clean the full hook ups are great. The only thing I had noticed was the K9 area was oddly small, but fenced in with a double gate entrance, the pool was the size of our pool at home so I don’t think it would facilitate many guests, but there is the beach and lake. They had a rec room with older arcade games (half of them working). Nice staff.

This is a nice, fun, clean campground that has friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the pool a lot! This is our second stay and I'm certain we will be back.

Staff was great but ... We (myself and wife) arrived very close to check-in with many open sites available. We were given a site directly across from the playground & rec center. It would have been nice had the staff noted two fifty-something campers with no kids and placed them in a more suitable site. Also, nothing to be done about this one, but I'll add that the train situation was awful.

Very accommodating, nice large treed sites. The vintage fire truck rides for the kids was over the top! Way cool!

I thought the number of showers available for the number of camp spots was a tad low. All pads were gravel and mostly level. Service was excellent and managers very responsive. But as with all KOA's, a little on the pricey side.

The cabin was great we got a deluxe cabin. The arcade was kinda awful 27 games and only 13 worked. The arcade was dirty, no one cleans in there. The pool definitely isn’t for smaller kids like I have. I don’t think it’s worth the money to rent a cabin there.

Owners SUPER friendly and helpful. The showers near the play area could use some attention. Water pressure inadequate to rinse. The game room games often take money without working. The train, well, it is what it is. We would stay here again to be sure.

Very well kept campground. Quiet. Train tracks close by aren't a problem as the train only goes through a couple times a day/night on weekdays. Centrally located to many activities and sites in the local area. Didn't need a text reminder every morning to shop at the camp store. Also, internet is very unreliable, and we were parked directly next to an antenna. Will likely camp here again.

We loved our five day four night stay and a rustic cabin. We chose the two room cabin and it was cozy, warm, and dry. When we arrived, they were waiting on us and so friendly. Dale took us to our spot and let us settle in. They deliver firewood and ice to your campsite. The pool was clean and heated. So even though it was a little cool outside, my daughter still enjoyed swimming. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had hot water. The only disappointment was the game room because you had to pay for the games. They had pool, air, hockey, and some arcade style video games. My favorite part of the campground was how quiet it was. I could sit on the porch swing in the morning with my coffee and just listen to nature. And additional bonus was there is a train that goes by twice at night. We were lucky to be able to watch it pass on the last night and wave to the conductor. We enjoyed going into Ocsoda and Tawas For shopping and dining. I would definitely come back here again. It was a wonderful experience.

Great people, very helpful. They come around and pick up your garbage and will deliver firewood. There is a train that goes by every night that is pretty loud and close but is gone quickly.

We LOVED our stay at the campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin that was very clean and cozy. Our 3 year old was super excited to sleep on the bunk bed. There was lots for him to do. The staff was all friendly and caring. We had some potential nasty weather coming, the owners made sure everyone knew it was coming and was prepared. The camp store had lots of goodies, which I could have dropped a lot of money there. Thanks for a great stay!
