The place is very clean and well maintain. The only problem was the firewood. It was still very green,had sap coming out the end when it was burning.Very hard to get to burn. BUT that just seems to be the new normal about everyplace we camp. With that being said we will stay there again.

Park was very well maintained. Restrooms were clean. Staff was helpful with questions about the area and very friendly. We will probably stay there again when in the area.

We had a great seven night stay at the Oscoda / Tawas KOA at our FHU pull thru patio site. We enjoyed how friendly the KOA workers were and the pool was definitely an added bonus. Yes, the train goes by twice in the late evening (there and back from somewhere) and blows it horn at the crossing near the entrance to the campground, but no other trains the rest of the time. We will be back for sure.

Very nice campground in a great location. We stayed during the week and it was empty and quiet. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The kids looked forward to the train coming through each night! We will definitely stay here again.

Stopped for 3 nights with our Pugs. Nice campground and staff very attentive! Nice sized dog park. People have complained about the train at night but we actually looked forward to it!! Dog beach at Tawas Point State Park a must for dog owners!

Was very pleasant, decided to stay longer and they took care of us! We'll be back again next year...one of the best KOA we've been too!

I stayed the for the first time in 2021 and it was great! I brought some of my family back this year and they lived it just as much as I did! Lots of activities for the the kiddos, the staff is friendly and very helpful and the campground itself is amazing! We are going to book a stay for next year!

Shhh, don't tell anybody how nice this KOA is or everyone will go. Peaceful, very clean, staff so friendly, all in a beautiful surrounding. We come here every year just because it always is a wonderful experience.

My husband and I took our 2 girls and our dog on this trip renting a camping cabin. We had a great time! We used the pool which was wonderful. We enjoyed the area by kayaking down the Oscoda River nearby. The campgrounds are clean and all staff are helpful and friendly.

Wonderful park! They staff/owners were very nice. Clean park and the site was level and large enough for camper and tow truck. This side of Michigan is beautiful we had a great time exploring, but also enjoyed a walk around the park. We are planning our next camping trip in 2023.

The sites are nice and taken care of. The office lady was good to us. We didn't like the site we were first assigned to. She found us a site we liked.

We enjoyed the clean and quiet campground. It was close to Lake Huron and to Oscoda. We really like the cement patio.

Very nice campground. Our patio site overlooking the marsh was incredible. I loved the train. It was something to look forward to. We had a great time. The seasonal site beside us with the constantly barking dogs was a bit much. Still enjoyed our stay

Very clean, well organized and maintained campground. We didn't realize the train would be quite so loud at 10:00 and 1:30am, but we got used to it. I appreciated the clean bright newer laundry room and camp store. It would be helpful to have more literature in the rack in the store of things to see and do in the Tawas area.

Pretty good group of staffing (not a bunch of teenagers). Camp store redone in recent years seems focused on selling sweatshirts and toys so don't forget sugar, milk, charcoal (no gas grills but sold out on a Friday at 3pm), lighter/matches as they probably don't have it. Cabins; clean, plenty of plates/bowls, silverware but if you want to grill more than hot dogs bring your cast iron & spatula.

This was our third stay at Oscoda KOA, and it will not be our last! The camp is well maintained and clean. The staff is fantastic! Always a great experience here.

I did not use and cannot comment on all of the campground amenities, but I appreciated the friendliness and speed of check-in, park cleanliness, and wonderful shade. Though I know it is hard to manage, the chlorine/chemical smell at the pool was nauseating and eye/lung irritating. Our group really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. STORE WAS WELL STOCKED. ALL EMPLOYEES WERE VERY HELPFUL IN EVERY WAY. POOL AND REC CENTER WERE CLEAN AND MAINTAINED. QUITE HOURS WERE OBSERVED WITHOUT BEING OVER POLICED. SITES WERE LARGE ENOUGH . STAYING AGAIN NEXT MONTH

For three years we have stayed and never been disappointed. First year a tree fell on daughters cabin. Everyone jumped to help and make sure they were all okay. Second year they had ants and was taken care of. This past year we had not one incident and we love this place. The kids love the pool and playground and love watching the train go by at night.. adults love the quiet time at night.

We liked our stay a lot EXCEPT several of our close neighbours had dogs, which by the way I love dogs, BUT the dogs continually barked and one neighbour would leave their dog inside their trailer while they left and it barked continually. We were surprised that the staff who were by a lot on their golf carts, didn’t do anything about the barking dogs.

Everyone working at the campground were very friendly and helpful. Nice big sites and easy to get in to.
