Great Maiden Voyage Spot! We took a short trip from Connecticut for our maiden voyage with our new camper and were very impressed with our stay at the Northampton/Springfield KOA. Our pull-through site included a pet pen, grill, table, and chairs—everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The campground was clean and well maintained, and the staff was friendly.

Very quiet park - away from traffic. Didn't use any ammenities, but appeared well-kept. Polite staff.

Really enjoyed myself with my two dogs. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice, clean, and very easy to back into my site. Had everything I was looking for at the site. Will definitely be staying with them again. Met some very nice and quite interesting neighbors.

Friendly, helpful, and available office staff. Hookups were working, and we were well-spaced from other campers on this early season weekend. Facilities were clean. Enjoyed my stay and will be back!

Wonderful place to stay! The staff, Brian Amber, Matt, Jerry, Jess were wonderful too! The laundry dryer was not fixed for awhile. Other than that, pleasant place. We will be back next year

We were very disappointed there were no activities at all on the weekend before Halloween. It was a waste of time, miles and money to camp there. We bought candy and packed costumes/ decorations. The person at checkin was smug stating that a"quiet weekend"was advertised, but I did not see it anywhere prior to booking. Even so, why have nothing on Halloween weekend for kids? Especially in N.E....

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our quiet camping weekends have been the same for 10+ years. You can find the whole year schedule posted in the office as well as our Facebook page. We have very few guests and our seasonals are gone the last two weekends, there wouldn't be anyone to pass out candy as seasonals do a lot.

Basic place to park, stayed at far nicer and far worse campsites. Pricey for what it is.

Stayed a sight G9. Very nice spot during a very slow time of year. Bathroom and showers were extremely clean and very well maintained. Highly recommend this quiet, again slow time of year, KOA facility. Thank you.

Nice large campground

Bathrooms were very clean and we liked that it was one stall for privacy. Too many seasonal campers there. Would not go back

It is located far off the beaten path. There is some kind of machine shop on premises and the noise from the vehicles is less than relaxing. It’s sad to see all the permanent residents at the KOA’s.

My only complaint, checked in on a Thursday. Did not receive an events list for the weekend. Saw a staff member walking by on Saturday. Asked them about the events list. They told me they hand them out on Friday check ins! Didn’t offer to get one for me even though I was the first site closest to the office

I was there for the second time in four weeks and my biggest grip is the cable it gave us 4 PBS channels :( I guess they stream and you get what ever they pick up which I definitely was disappointed in

Stayed over Columbus Day weekend. We were impressed with the number of things for families to do, including trick or treating and site decorating. The campground was clean and everything was clearly marked. My only "complaint" was the lack of heat in the bathrooms, especially with only the screen door and taking a shower - it was very chilly!

While we were hoping the camp store offered a bit more in terms of supplies, it didn't take away from the overall great experience. We definitely recommend adding this KOA to your travel list!

This KOA is in the middle of nowhere so it is quiet with no train or freeway noise. Walmart was about 15-20 minutes away. We didn't realize it was a Halloween weekend so there were many children running around , with quite a few unsupervised, which seems to be the norm at many campgrounds these days. Many campsites were decorate, nicely, for Halloween, in the upper area. The KOA had a variety of activities, for kids, Halloween related. They even had a “haunted house “. Stay in the lower area if you are traveling with kids where the playground etc are. We moved sites to a satellite friendly one which was cheaper. When I asked for a price adjustment , I was told they spent a lot of time moving things around to accommodate us. I asked again for a reduced price and got it. I did tell the office I appreciated them doing this.

Out of the way campground. Very peaceful. Wood prices are a little high. Their are a few places on the way there you can grab wood if you have cash. We paid $18.00 for 2 bundles.
