North Sydney / Cabot Trail KOA Reviews

We had the best hostess She made our stay very enjoyable and ensured we got a great view! The campground was very well kept and clean. We also did our laundry while staying there with clean and low cost machines. We would highly recommend this KOA campground to anyone! Thanks again:)

Site is nice but bathrooms weren’t great. One facility close to trailers was shut down.

Comfortable & beautiful. The remnants of the old school bus should be removed because it's dangerous and rusty.

We have had experience staying st many KOAs. I’m not sure what this one is considered however it did not meet the expectations that the other ones did. This KOA has a spectacular view from all sites and that’s about it. I would not recommend it for those with children as the amenities cost money (mini golf) and they are all run down and over grown. The office smelt horrible and was very old/mu

Beautiful views of Bras D'OR lake. Site was level with adequate space between sites in the pull through section. Quite quiet for being right off a Trans Canada highway. Great access to North Sydney and the spectacular Cabot Trail. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Our first stay before crossing to Newfoundland was great. Our return from NFLD was more dramatic as the ferry changed the timing with us arriving at 3am. They were great in assigning us a site and figuring things out in the morning; allowing us to sleep before continuing on our return home. Great service and accommodating due to circumstances.

The location is convenient to the Cabot Trail and the views are nice from some spots. Unfortunately, the campground as a whole was very unkempt with high weeds, broken down vehicles, playground/putt putt golf area unusable, bathrooms were relatively clean. Just not what we’re used to when staying at a KOA. On a positive note, the manager moved us to a site with the view that we reserved.
