Very convenient location to access the North Sydney ferry terminal or Cape Breton. Only minutes from the Gaelic College. The staff and folks who manage this campground are simply the best. We have stayed at other highly rated campground in the North Sydney area, and this KOA is our recommendation.

Great place to stay if you want to visit the Cabot Trail or for a over night stay while waiting for the ferry to Newfoundland. Stayed here twice and would do it again.

As usual with KOA it was clean and well organized but lacking trees and privacy but for an overnight stay it was great.

The park was excellent but the ride around the Cabot trail was very bad roads

Great friendly staff. Sites were level and in good condition. Fantastic view over looking water. Power and water had no issues.

Stayed 9 nights in total, booked 6 and then after we stayed a couple nights we booked 3 more. Great location and nice people , the owners are on site and always willing to help in any way

Wonderful staff! So helpful! Beautiful view! Helped us out when we found out for overheight vehicles on NFLD ferry, booked up for 2 months. We asked at the office if we could offload our truck camper and store it there for 5 days and we would just hotel it in NFLD. So great they did that for us. No way we wanted to miss out on NFLD after coming all the way from British Columbia!

Great host who greeted us in a very friendly manner. She explained everything that we needed to know about the park. Park is clean and has ample howers and warm water. Caters to semi permanent trailers. Close to Ferry Terminal

The site is basically a stay over to catch the ferry. The office when we walked in was disorganized, messy and smelled of old smoke. The wan who greeted us was friendly. The site we were put into, once we backed out 22 ft trailer in it we had to unhook our truck and luckily the site next to us wasn't booked and we parked the truck there. No firepit at our site. Laundry room terrible.

Great staff and answered my questions and when our ferry delayed accommodated us for another night . I had booked for return stay after Newfoundland as well .

Joyce was extremely helpful with us ! Showed us a spot with the best views of any campsite so far for us! Loved watching the sun come up over the water with a nice cup of coffee!

The park was easy to find. Showers and bathroom were very clean. Whole campground was clean and well maintained. Staff were pleasant and ready to help. I will definitely be back again.

Great location for the ferry. The staff is very nice, helpful, and friendly. They guide you to your site which is nice. Bathrooms are just ok. The laundry facilities are exposed to the outside, and not in good condition.

Great stay for catching the ferry. Super convenient! Extremely friendly staff. If you are booting around Cape Breton I would suggest you try to stick to provincial parks and Cape Breton National Park. Definitely Meat Cove at the very top!

Beautiful campground, amazing view and great facilities. Owner and staff very welcoming and a pleasure to stay with. This is our fourth trip en route to Newfoundland and definitely a must stay at for a few nights
