North Sydney / Cabot Trail KOA Reviews

The team here are a family, and they make you feel like family too. We have stayed here three times now. They go out of their way to help with whatever you need and are always available. Its a perfect location to get to the ferry and all the historic sites in the area.

I stayed at North Sydney KOA the day before taking the NL ferry. Bonnie was very helpful in getting a reservation changed at another KOA for me and for having some flexibility in my departure time. The washroom and laundry area were both nice and clean,

Overnight stay only but a great welcome from your staff. Lovely location, quiet. Clean grounds, washrooms and showers. Highly recommend!

Super helpful and welcoming Host! Guided to our site, 50 AMP Full hook-up pull-thru for our 43 ft Motorhome with a towed vehicle. The only drawback was that the campground needs some "sprucing up." Thank you for an enjoyable stay

Reception and staff were fantastic. Location is great for access to the Cabot, Sydney ferry and Sydney. The park and facilities, although clean are somewhat tired. However the effort and helpfulness of staff make up for any park shortcomings.

Stayed two nights. Good midway point between the Cabot Trail and North Sydney. Views of the bridge and water were nice.

Excellent location! Close to the Cabot Trail. The owner's Jason and Bonnie we so helpful in "lending" us a spice we couldn't find in the area. Their campfire wood comes with newspaper, kindling and dry wood. The bathrooms were spotless with nice hot showers, plus the bathrooms were nice in warm. (We stayed in mid October) This was our favorite campground during our Nova Scotia tour. Great stay!!

The lady who checked me in was so thoughtful and nice. I enjoyed the cabin. The campground was an excellent one as well.

Great communication and and very concerned that they found the right space for us (it had been raining heavily). I can't see that we'll be back in that part of the world, but if we were we would definitely stay again.

just an overnighter but wished we had more time as the view of the lake was excellent and other campers were friendly. very tidy camp area and easy access with helpful staff.

Nice facilities. Loved the pull through waterside. Good base location for Cabot Trail and Louisbourg.

as first-time RV'S and did not know what to expect we are PLEASANTLY surprised with ALL the pleasant folks we chatted with, as we owned a Florida house and SOLD it and bought a 2023 Solice 59 px Winnebago we WILL definitely use KOA whenever we travel in Canada THANK-YOU for your resorts.

Beautiful view. Nice, large, grassy sites. Helpful and friendly staff. Convenient to Cabot Trail.

We love this campground. It is close to the ferry terminal from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland. It is a very scenic, beautiful place. The owners are very welcoming. The customer service is excellent. We had a medical emergency after we arrived and the owners were incredibly supportive. Helping the night of the emergency and throughout our stay until we were able to travel again.

I rely on koa for a standard and unfortunately this one was on the low end. Staff were very nice, but facilities unkept. Would stay only if location was important

We only had a short stay but everything was excellent.

This KOA is very tired. Needs several upgrades. Washrooms were dismal and the laundry room un-inviting. We went into North Sydney….. unfortunately the laundry mat we found wasn’t much better. We were there during Hurricane Lee. Disappointed that staff didn’t connect with campers. It was a very unsettling couple of days. Bottom line - this KOA was not very inviting, although wifi was stro
