Staff are super friendly. The cabins and facilities were clean and in awesome condition. Fire wood was on the wet side which made campfires a challenge but the dog park to let my puppy run off leash was an huge bonus. Overall a great camping experience!

Awesome views. Very nice staff. Where we were at the top of the campground, a bit far from bathrooms/showers. Also, the road(s) were dusty, but it hadn’t rained in quite a while so not the fault of the campground. Not really near anything but 30 or so minutes from North Sydney.

Nice level, roomy sites, lovely view of the water. Great location to see so many sites in Nova Scotia, including the Cabot Trail, historic fort at Louisberg, Alexander Graham Bell house, etc. Very nice fenced area for dog walking. Clean, quiet, convenient. All around a great place to stay.

We stayed here twice, once on the 13th of July on our way to NewFoundland and on the way back on the 27th of July. Our first stay was great, pull through site with no issues. On the return journey there was no pull through site available, so I had to un-hook my car dolly which is a pain, however I did. Now the site was one of most un-even sites I have ever setup on.

The shower and wrest rooms are old and dirty and they’re employees are making a lot of dust whit the golf cart

Our site was big for our 44 ft 5th wheel. However, there wasn't a lot of space to maneuver around before you could end up going down a steep hill. There's no lighting around the campground, so doing laundry at night was challenging. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The lady was super friendly and kind like a friend I've known a long time only I just met her ! The campground was very clean and well taken care of. The view was beautiful and the water was perfect temperature. I couldn't have had a better time with my kids . We have no car so we were dropped off and stayed for 3 days and we felt at home and completely comfortable! Thank you so much .

It was spotless .. the washrooms ,showers, laundromat and fitness room .. everything you needed was right there .. Bonnie was an amazing hostess and the campground is at the base of Kelly’s Mountain on the BrasD’Or Lakes ..playgrounds .. mini golf , the campsites were a great size too. I cannot say enough good about this campgrounds. One of my top favourites

Staff were very friendly and welcoming! Facilities were nice and clean. If you have a longer trailer/motor home I would recommend a pull through site as some of the back in site are pretty tight to back into. All around a good simple KOA in a decent location. We would certainly stay here again.

Nous avons aimé, par contre très déçus par le manque d'une piscine. Bois de feux de camp humide et manque d'un cassé croûte. Par contre la dame du camping est très avenante.

Site was nice, a pool would be nice, and a beach with better footing. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The person who checked us in was lovely and helpful. We arrived very late on the ferry but it was not a problem at all. The wifi worked great and the facilities were super clean.

Beautiful view from most sites at this clean and friendly campground. The hostess was quick to respond to needs ie: more paper towels in restrooms. They really could use an extra toilet/shower or two. Would not hesitate to return here!

What a great stay! The campground was managed by a lovely family. They were very accommodating and worked hard to make sure everyone and everything was looked after. A beautiful spot, we will definitely be back!

We are from Ontario. On our Epic Maritime Adventure. Before heading out on the Cabot Trail we stayed the night at North Sydney KOA. Helpful staff, good facilities for laundry good hydro and water. Quiet with the most amazing views of the water and majestic rockface

Stayed 2 nights. Campground was ok. Showers and washrooms were ok. Relative to other KOA facilities we've seen, the campground was a bit rough and poorly kept. Site was central to what we wanted to visit so served the purpose.

Beautiful campground, amazing view and great facilities. Owner and staff very welcoming and a pleasure to stay with. This is our fourth trip en route to Newfoundland and definitely a must stay at for a few nights
