This is a recurring event | Farmer's MarketCome join the fun as Niantic Main Street hosts their 9th season of the Niantic Farmers' Market. The market features local vendors who fill the market space (i.e., Methodist St) as they do every year with an array of fresh and local produce, pies, breads, plants, herbs, greens, hummus, pork, jams, jellies, prepared foods, native wool, coffee, fresh-filled cannoli's and much, much more.The Niantic Farmers Market located on Methodist Street between Pro Tek Auto and Niantic Cinemas and will run every Thursday from 3 to 6:00 p.m. until October 12th.Hope to see you there!For additional info regarding Niantic's Farmers' Market, visit their Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/NianticFarmersMarket
Come enjoy an evening of fun, relaxation and great music at this McCook's Point Park Summer Music concert series.
The first / kick-off concert will be held on Friday, July 13th and will be held weekly on Friday evenings (weather permitting).
Concerts will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the new McCooks Point Band Shell atop of McCook's Point Park (just behind the old pavilion). Attendees are encouraged to being chairs, blankets and are welcomed to bring a picnic dinner. Concerts are free and open to the public.
McCook's Beach Summer Concert Series is BACK for 2018!!!! These weekly concerts featured smaller, more local bands, and took place at and on McCooks Beach on Wednesday nights from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.So bring a picnic dinner, watch the sun set and enjoy some great tunes all while relaxing on the beach with family and friends. No beach pass is required after 5:00 PM to enter the park!

Come join the fun on Friday nights as the East Lyme Parks and Recreation Department once again will sponsor Friday night “McCook's Movie Series”.
All movies are FREE and open to all. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, a picnic dinner and snacks to enjoy during the movies. Movie goers are asked that you leave pets at home during these events!
Movies will begin shortly after sunset each week, and specific movies to be shown will be posted here once identified.

Mark your calendars for the 5th Annual Black Sheep Oyster Festival. If you thought prior year's events were great, this year's event promises to be bigger and better. This relatively new end-of-summer Niantic event is sure to be another crowd pleaser with local Oyster Farmers onsite, Oyster Shucking Contest, Irish Step Dancers, Oyster inspired menu items, Guinness Pint Specials, Live Music, Prizes & Giveaways and a whole lot more.This year's Black Sheep Guinness Oyster Festival takes place on Saturday, September 22, 2018 beginning at 12:00 noon at The Black Sheep Irish Pub located at 247 Main St., Niantic.
Come join the fun for the 3rd annual East Lyme Bike Hike and BBQ event on Saturday, September 29, 2018 and help preserve our town's open spaces and historic places that are the foundation of East Lyme's beauty.This year there are 6 completely new and exciting cycling routes, and organizers have added 3 new walking routes a 5K-10K-15K for you to explore.This event is not only a great time, but also helps support East Lyme's three Historic Houses (the Smith-Harris House, the Samuel Smith House, and the Thomas Lee House) with proceeds benefiting the East Lyme Land Trust.Whether you come to walk, ride or just for the BBQ a fun and entertaining time is slated for all. This event is geared toward recreational bike riders offering a spectacular ride along either a family friendly 9-mile historical house tour, 20 mile, 26 Mile, 62 mile, 85 mile, or 100 mile course. The family friendly course will take you to 3 historical houses around East Lyme: the Smith-Harris House, the Thomas Lee House and the Samuel Smith House.All courses will circle back to the Smith Harris House property where mouth-watering BBQ prepared by the Niantic Lions Club will be served to top off the day. Enjoy the live music and explore the sponsor tents as you savor your post-ride feast.The Smith-Harris House is the host site for the 3rd Annual East Lyme Bike & BBQ Preservation Bike Ride, and will be offering FREE visits to the Smith-Harris House. Come join the folks at The Black Sheep as they once again team up with Sam Adams to Host their 3rd Annual Oktoberfest & Pig Roast! Live Music, a Stein Hoisting Competition and a great pork roast dinner are all “on tap”. If you thought prior year's events were great, this year's event promises to be even bigger and better.

Come one, come all, to one of the most highly entertaining family friendly events in town ~ the annual Niantic Village Halloween Parade.The fun will start on Sunday, October 28th, 2018 beginning at 1:00 p.m., when children are welcome to browse the downtown shops for “Tricks and Treats”.Among the parade's signature highlights is the always popular Halloween Parade which will begin at 2:00 p.m.. Children should gather at Hole-in-the-Wall beach parking lot (which is where the parade begins). Candy for the kids and costume prizes will be awarded.This event is sponsored by the East Lyme Parks & Rec Dept. along with promotional support of the Niantic Main Street organization and the downtown Niantic local businesses who donate candy and snacks for the children.
