Terrible time of year bugs. So bad also only one plug work camp lights didn’t come on all of these things were told on the first hour of being there. We ended up leaving early and I feel we should’ve been charged for the whole time.

Bugs while tent camping??? That's expected with camping, esp. in a tent, in the south, in the warm months & we have no control over that, nor should we be expected to! We were even told by you that you didn't think out this trip well with timing tent camping. Thanks for your patronage.

The grounds, site and employees are GREAT! However, I must have missed the fact that it is a block from an active train line that ran 4 times that evening around 7:45p, 10:45p and 12:45am that evening with the conductor pulling heavy on the horn! Not a good thing for tent campers at all. Unfortunately, It was a very bad night of rest for us.

When coming to a CITY to camp, you must consider that you're IN THE CITY. We're a major railroad & port city. It's good to do your homework. It's the reason we're one of the only parks anywhere near the French Quarter with tent camping...others don't want reviews like this. Thanks

Wonderfully friendly staff, great amenities. This has become our place to stay in New Orleans for tent and RV sites, and a Lodge for a family reunion. I/we will be back.

Great location. Bathrooms very clean. Enjoyed the pool. Site set up great for a tent. Would stay there again if in the area.

Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, pool was clean and well kept, use the shuttle several times and they helped us set up reservations/tickets for several attractions. Best KOA we stayed at all summer and we went to many on a 5500 mile trip in 5 weeks.

This was our first KOA stay in many many years and we were very impressed. The host were great and helped us get into the French Quarter with a great experience. We will definitely be back- thank you.

Nice cute place to stay there. The shuttle was the bonus for me to go to the French Quarter! The staff were very nice!!!

All I can say is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! First of all the place is super quiet and clean. The owner came to our site and personally greeted us. The entire staff is super accommodating and extremely nice. The restroooms were always clean no matter what time of day we went. We felt super safe someone was always at the gate at night. Also they do not discriminate on what style of camping you do

I love the place but I found it noisy with generators from the RVs and too much light at night. The bathrooms and facilities are very clean and well maintained and we will definitely stay there again. But I cannot give it five stars for the reasons above. We do tent camping and met amazing people during our stay and also used the laundry which is very convenient.

Hello. We unfortunately cannot control the amount of light that's in our park, as we're IN the city with city lighting. We make it clear that we're IN the city. We don't allow RVs to run generators at night. If we would have been told, we would have stopped it. Thank you for your patronage.

Very clean and friendly staff. Took the shuttle to downtown three days. Well worth the reasonable charge to avoid traffic, parking hassles and worrying about my car. Dave, the drivers provided a lot of good commentary on the history of the city on way in and back. Some noise from trains and river traffic but comes with the location. Easy to access from I-10. Enjoyed my stay. Scott Ashley

Bathrooms and showers were amazingly clean. It was close to downtown New Orleans so you can drive there for the day. Quiet KOA.

What a great place to camp at! The site we had was perfect. The owners went above and beyond helping us. We took the shuttle to the french quarters and spent a great day there including the cemetery tour that was recommended to do. How wonderful not to drive to there and back! The office was all decorated for halloween . I would recommend anyone looking for the perfect spot near the french quarters to look here!! Thank you again for wonderful hospitality.

Rented a cabin. Everything was perfect but the mattress. Stayed for a week and was glad to leave cuz neither my husband nor myself could stand another night sleeping on the mattress. Woke up every morning with our backs and hips hurting. Sad cuz it really is a great place.

I love this KOA, every time I visit! It's a well loved campground, evident in how well it's taken care of and seen in the details everywhere. Gift shop has great prices and a fun selection of Nola swag to boot!
