This was our first KOA stay in many many years and we were very impressed. The host were great and helped us get into the French Quarter with a great experience. We will definitely be back- thank you.

Nice cute place to stay there. The shuttle was the bonus for me to go to the French Quarter! The staff were very nice!!!

All I can say is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! First of all the place is super quiet and clean. The owner came to our site and personally greeted us. The entire staff is super accommodating and extremely nice. The restroooms were always clean no matter what time of day we went. We felt super safe someone was always at the gate at night. Also they do not discriminate on what style of camping you do

I love the place but I found it noisy with generators from the RVs and too much light at night. The bathrooms and facilities are very clean and well maintained and we will definitely stay there again. But I cannot give it five stars for the reasons above. We do tent camping and met amazing people during our stay and also used the laundry which is very convenient.

Hello. We unfortunately cannot control the amount of light that's in our park, as we're IN the city with city lighting. We make it clear that we're IN the city. We don't allow RVs to run generators at night. If we would have been told, we would have stopped it. Thank you for your patronage.

Very clean and friendly staff. Took the shuttle to downtown three days. Well worth the reasonable charge to avoid traffic, parking hassles and worrying about my car. Dave, the drivers provided a lot of good commentary on the history of the city on way in and back. Some noise from trains and river traffic but comes with the location. Easy to access from I-10. Enjoyed my stay. Scott Ashley

Bathrooms and showers were amazingly clean. It was close to downtown New Orleans so you can drive there for the day. Quiet KOA.

My iPad was stolen from my tent by the neighboring tentee.. He was up all night and moving around suspiciously. Next day when my tent had been trespassed my 700$ iPad was stolen.

We have a night attendant who watches our park. Because of this & cameras all over, we've NEVER had a guest steal from another guest. When we were told this, we asked you to come in so we could view the cameras & you didn't show, which we assumed meant it was found. We weren't given a chance. Thanks

We had a great stay! The campgrounds are clean, showers and restrooms are very nice. Love the people in New Orleans. Rivertown is away from the Quarter and still close enough to go through the garden district on the trolley.

Our visit was super quick, but the facilities we utilized were great. The night host was very helpful in getting us settled. I love how close you are to the river/levee walk.

The New Orleans KOA Holiday is a bit of a gem in the rough. It's not a fancy RV resort, but has a variety of camping options. The best thing about this KOA is the service, friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and secure. They provide shuttle service options into town and have a well-stocked store. It's our go-to stop in the area.

We (3 large Class A motor homes) visited New Orleans, LA in May 2026. We stayed 2 days. The sites were level, we were placed next to each other and the staff were fantastic. We took the KOA shuttle to downtown in the morning and were picked up in the afternoon. Our driver, Dave offered historic background info on the city on the drive down and back. He drove by many of the old scenic homes in town. He helped two of our disabled seniors in/out of the van during every journey. He is amazing. Deborah (office) was so nice and helpful. They have a pool, daily trash pickup, a well manicured property and overnight security. We felt safe and cared for during our visit. We highly recommend this campground.
