I love the place but I found it noisy with generators from the RVs and too much light at night. The bathrooms and facilities are very clean and well maintained and we will definitely stay there again. But I cannot give it five stars for the reasons above. We do tent camping and met amazing people during our stay and also used the laundry which is very convenient.

Hello. We unfortunately cannot control the amount of light that's in our park, as we're IN the city with city lighting. We make it clear that we're IN the city. We don't allow RVs to run generators at night. If we would have been told, we would have stopped it. Thank you for your patronage.

Very clean and friendly staff. Took the shuttle to downtown three days. Well worth the reasonable charge to avoid traffic, parking hassles and worrying about my car. Dave, the drivers provided a lot of good commentary on the history of the city on way in and back. Some noise from trains and river traffic but comes with the location. Easy to access from I-10. Enjoyed my stay. Scott Ashley

Great place. Very well organized. You can tell the owners are proud of their camp site.

Bathrooms and showers were amazingly clean. It was close to downtown New Orleans so you can drive there for the day. Quiet KOA.

My iPad was stolen from my tent by the neighboring tentee.. He was up all night and moving around suspiciously. Next day when my tent had been trespassed my 700$ iPad was stolen.

We have a night attendant who watches our park. Because of this & cameras all over, we've NEVER had a guest steal from another guest. When we were told this, we asked you to come in so we could view the cameras & you didn't show, which we assumed meant it was found. We weren't given a chance. Thanks

We had a great stay! The campgrounds are clean, showers and restrooms are very nice. Love the people in New Orleans. Rivertown is away from the Quarter and still close enough to go through the garden district on the trolley.

Our visit was super quick, but the facilities we utilized were great. The night host was very helpful in getting us settled. I love how close you are to the river/levee walk.

Im new to KoA. Ive stayed in 3 in 3 different states in a week. New orleans was an unforgettable experience. The people i meet is my favorite thing! Ofc having a shower, cleaning ip my gear and clothes, and a pool make it KoA very hard to beat New orleans is a gem of this great nation

After the severe storm the other day the campground allowed people to use their generators all night. I was in a tent, traveling by bicycle and the person twenty feet from my tent had the generator going full bore all night. 62 decibels. I called mgmt and was told there was nothing they could do. I guess they forgot that people in tents are customers also. Not one minute of sleep after that.

Hi! We have to balance making ALL guests happy. We had our staff turn their generators off. However, we couldn't go rig to rig, asking our guests to turn their generators off & to sleep with no power or air. We have medical patients in here. We tried to do what was fair for all. Thanks

The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly, explained the layout of the KOA, bathroom code, and pool hours. We chose a tent spot which was close to the bathrooms and pool. Tent spot was level with water & electric. Planes & trains all night but may have been louder because we were in a tent. Pool was warm and bathrooms & showers were clean.

Very helpful information about how to use the streetcar system and where to park. The pool was refreshing after a long day of sightseeing. Nice outdoor sink for dishwashing.

This was my first stay at a KOA. Staff were friendly and helpful. Tent spot was very nice and as private as possible as well as shaded by a lovely tree. Bathroom was clean. Campground was quiet at night.

I rented a tent site and was unpleasantly surprised that I was on a cement slab with a layer of pebbles. This was poor design. There was no way to stake my bivy. Only a "free-standing" tent works in these spaces. Also, though not required, it would be a nice touch if they had an air pump for pool products or airbeds. I think fewer shower rooms, allowing bigger spaces, would have been more likeable

Hi. Our tent sites aren't cement. It's a raised, dirt pack with pea gravel on top. This is to keep the sites from flooding, as we're a bowl & one of the rainiest states. Our guys help with ANYTHING, including a pump, if asked. With only one bathhouse, it wouldn't make sense to get rid of showers.

It shows that your employees know the area and that visitors would appreciate someone else doing the driving into town! Return trip to tent camp at this location. Fantastic facility. Very friendly staff. We took advantage of their great shuttle to and from the French Quarter. Unfortunately we had a mechanical breakdown returning. However the staff handled it with great concern for those on board and all was resolved in a very timely manner. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice campground clean restrooms. Some showers need some repair, mosquitoes were ferocious but that’s nature. Staff was quite pleasant and attentive to details.

Absolutely the best KOA ever! The staff was wonderful and it was very clean. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. My daughter and I stayed 2 nights in a tent and we had the time of our lives.
