RV Park is conveniently located to access New Orleans. Didn't take advantage of the shuttle but it is great to have available. RV Park was nice. Frustrated with the sewer connection being up hill from the RV. Bthrms nice! Staff Friendly, Helpful with smiles!

Bathrooms are absolutely gross. Everything is worn and desperately needs even just cleaned up. Very far from New Orleans. Overall, worst KOA by far to stay at.

28-Day road trip at several KOAs and this was overall the best! Amazing owners and staff, super helpful, clean facilities and pool - lovely site that is well-maintained. Even offers a shuttle to NOLA! We will be back!

Very nice staff. A bit expensive! Wouldn’t have been so bad but had to pay for a shuttle to town which is about a 30 minute drive.

Hi. You were here during both a holiday AND a major festival. Rates are higher everywhere in the city for holidays & festivals/special events. Our rates are lower than our competitors. Our shuttle is typically the most cost effective way, lower than Uber/taxi & typically than all day parking. Thanks

It was very convenient, as it is close to the city. It was clean and affordable. The most important virtue was that we felt secure. The only improvement I would suggest is that the non-office staff be more friendly to the guests. I said hello or waved every time I encountered a member of the staff and got a return wave or acknowledgement about 50% of the time. We will stay again without hesitation

Every staff member was wonderful. They keep someone up front all night to protect the park. Great facilities that were clean and well kept. Would highly recommend.

This was my 4th stay at the New Orleans KOA and I have nothing but great things to say about it. It is super clean, well kept, manicured grounds, friendly and helpful people. It is one of few campgrounds where you are escorted to your site and will provide help backing into your site and setting up your camper. They have shuttles to the French Quarter (there and back!)

What a great find 10-15 minutes outside nola. Very personable and truly want you to enjoy the whole experience. Dave was our awesome shuttle diver to and from the campground. Thanks to u all we had a great first experience there

We decided to check out New Orleans on the way back from our longer trip. Ended up extending another night, both because campground was great and French Quarter was so much fun to explore. Laundry facility is excellent. Rec room could use an old school arcade game though. Something to spend those left over quarters on!

We stayed there in April and enjoyed everything about it. I swam one night but the gift shop is where I spent some $ because the prices and selection was so great. Don't miss it! Thanks KOA NEW ORLEANS!!!

The campground may seem a little tough to find but the hosts and the welcoming with extra care and support make it a must stop in your trip .. Shuttle services to downtown to pet care opportunity was a nice surprise

Very friendly staff, clean park. Very organized. Shuttle to French quarters, store, ice, lau dry, everything you would need. We rented a firepit they delivered and picked up. Spits are level. Spacious. Great location. Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Thank you Koa staff! You deserve more than 5 stars.

Your staff is great ! We used the shuttle to get to New Orleans and it was so convenient The shuttle driver was great and knowledgeable and took different routes every day. We loved it. We had problems with our TV and a staff member helped us get it going. We would definitely use this KOA again if we’re ever this way, thanks for making our stay so great.

Backing into our site with a 28ft trailer was difficult. It would have been much easier if the campers on the sites directly across and the adjacent sites had not parked their trucks on the roadway next to their sites. They should parked next to their respective trailers or used the overflow parking areas as others did. Fortunately, the KOA guide helped us back into the site.

Hi. It would have been nice to have been judged on more than just backing in. While we do realize that sometimes it can be difficult on our back row, those sites are usually picked by guests because they're cheaper. We do plan an extensive remodel of them in the future, when it's feasible. Thanks

Campground seemed safe and in a good location. It was well kept and clean. Staff was very attentive. Laundry facilities were more than adequate. Reasonably priced. I stayed for 11 days as part of a work assignment and had no issues.

Bath houses were amazing! Dog run area was tiny. A quick 25 minute Uber from downtown. Riverside nearby has some great dining options, as does Metarie & Kenner. If I work in the area again, I'd see if there was availability here. Good people.

New Orleans KOA Holiday offers clean facilities, friendly staff, and convenient shuttle service to the French Quarter. Sites are level, with full hookups, and the pool is a great bonus. It’s close to the city but quiet enough to relax. Great base for exploring New Orleans with a mix of comfort and accessibility.

Campground staff was great, they helped us with tours and they shuttled us 3 days down town to see the sites. The shuttle driver give us lots of local history info as we rode to our drop off. Shuttle was very prompt on pick up times. Campground is clean and our site was concrete and level. It was a great stay.

Just an overnight and the staff and park are really nice. Only thing I did not like was local friends came by to visit and share some coffee and they charged us $3 each for less than an hour visit. Understand the charge if they wanted to use pool etc but we just sat by the camper and talked for less than an hour. Other than that, wonderful park and would come back!!!

What a great little campground so close to the heart of NOLA . We loved that access to the levee/bicycle path was literally across the street. The staff was amazing, taking such meticulous care of the grounds and of each camper as they come in. We also appreciated the many shade trees, the beautiful grass and the lovely pool. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend to anyone.

This is absolutely one of the nicest KOA‘s in which we have stayed. The grounds were manicured. The spots were extra wide, allowing for room between neighbors and space for parking. The front staff was especially helpful making suggestions about things to do in New Orleans. Normally, however, a KOA billed as a holiday KOA has a lot of amenities for children. This one only has a small pool.

We enjoyed our stay at this KOA. The staff was very helpful. Sean helped us get the car dolly to our site. Everyone was very friendly. We did not have time to use the pool. New Orleans is very close to this campground

The New Orleans KOA Holiday is a bit of a gem in the rough. It's not a fancy RV resort, but has a variety of camping options. The best thing about this KOA is the service, friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and secure. They provide shuttle service options into town and have a well-stocked store. It's our go-to stop in the area.

We (3 large Class A motor homes) visited New Orleans, LA in May 2026. We stayed 2 days. The sites were level, we were placed next to each other and the staff were fantastic. We took the KOA shuttle to downtown in the morning and were picked up in the afternoon. Our driver, Dave offered historic background info on the city on the drive down and back. He drove by many of the old scenic homes in town. He helped two of our disabled seniors in/out of the van during every journey. He is amazing. Deborah (office) was so nice and helpful. They have a pool, daily trash pickup, a well manicured property and overnight security. We felt safe and cared for during our visit. We highly recommend this campground.
