The staff and owners were amazing . We got stuck down town so we were late getting back to our dog. They watched our dog until we got back. They book your adventures for you and have shuttle service to them and downtown. Spacious sites but have to detach car and park it front of you rig. No biggie . I would come stay again!

Our campsite (26) was the nicest campsite I’ve ever stayed it. The campground itself is nice, but quite crowded. The staff was very helpful and we appreciated the the carpool to the city.

This KOA is in need of maintenance. The roads are really rough and potholed. The bathrooms, especially the showers are in poor condition and need to be updated.

Best camping stay ever experienced. We stayed on a front row patio site in a motor coach for a week. This is a fabulous KOA. The grounds and rest rooms/showers are immaculate. Personal is absolutely friendly and informative. Front row patio with chairs, table and fire pit was fantastic. We’ll return again. No better place in New Orleans!!!!

Don’t expect rolling hills and trickling streams; this a metropolitan campground. Having said that, the staff is outstanding, the sites are spacious, the WiFi is excellent, and if I ever get back to NOLA, I’ll stay here again.

We had a 31' Class B+ and were towing a toad. We would need to back in, but the KOA staff was right there to assist with removing the toad from the dolly and tow the dolly to the site and park it for me. They arranged our reservation so I could spend another day at the WWII Museum which was very helpful. The pool was very clean as were the showers, restrooms and all of the grounds. It was very qu

We booked one of the patio sites with the fireplace under the oaks and it was roomy and perfectly out of the way. Well stocked store, great playground area for the kids. Showers and bathroom were clean. We felt safe. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful! They pick up trash from your site and will deliver firewood. LOUD train nearby that's worth mentioning; bring a sound machine.

We had a great stay, this is always our first choice in the NOLA area. We did have a weird interaction where we put out our trash when leaving for dinner (just after 6pm) and someone came up and told us trash pick up ended at 6. I said the paper we were given at check in said during daylight hours and it was still much earlier than sunset. No harm no foul, but definitely would like clarificati

We loved the patio site. This was a nice convenience with the chairs and table provided. It was a nice getaway while still being close to New Orleans. We hope to stay again the next time we visit the area.

Very helpful staff. Cleanest KOA we've ever seen. It's spotless. The sites aren't huge, but it doesn't feel extremely cramped. They offer an inexpensive shuttle to the heart of New Orleans. The two shuttle drivers provided more information about the city than the tour guides in New Orleans. There's a dog walker on-site. The laundry facilities where immaculate. I wish all KOA's were run as well!

An amazing find this close to a national treasure of a city. The small park is immaculate. The owners and staff do everything possible to make sure you enjoy New Orleans. Top of the list is a convenient shuttle to the heart of the city. Besides the convenience, the drive is also a guided tour. You couldn’t ever do better than this park if you’re RV travels include the big easy.

Quick over night, but we met everyone that worked there and felt immediately welcomed. Check in was easy and we received helped to our spot. Pretty clean area and park. We will stay again.

This is an older park in a very old section of town. There is good security within the campground and I felt perfectly safe. The staff is friendly and all amenities worked well. The maintenance guy starts his day at 4:30 AM and drives his golf cart around listening to talk radio. Ask me how I know… We stayed next to the 24 hour laundry shack. I don’t recommend that. Great convenient location, easy in and out, close to amenities yet private and secure. We'll kept and very clean, with a friendly and helpful staff. Bonus, my dog enjoys running on the levee hill.

The New Orleans KOA Holiday is a bit of a gem in the rough. It's not a fancy RV resort, but has a variety of camping options. The best thing about this KOA is the service, friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and secure. They provide shuttle service options into town and have a well-stocked store. It's our go-to stop in the area.

We (3 large Class A motor homes) visited New Orleans, LA in May 2026. We stayed 2 days. The sites were level, we were placed next to each other and the staff were fantastic. We took the KOA shuttle to downtown in the morning and were picked up in the afternoon. Our driver, Dave offered historic background info on the city on the drive down and back. He drove by many of the old scenic homes in town. He helped two of our disabled seniors in/out of the van during every journey. He is amazing. Deborah (office) was so nice and helpful. They have a pool, daily trash pickup, a well manicured property and overnight security. We felt safe and cared for during our visit. We highly recommend this campground.
