This KOA Holiday has many upgrades, a new laundry facility, nice decorations, old oak trees for shade patio furniture, a well equipped gift shop and general store, but the staff is what really makes this KOA shine. Our RV broke down there for four days. The staff is goat, goat meaning (greatest of all time )we’ve never been at the KOA where the staff seemed to really care about us

Great service from helping to back into campsite to filling our propane tank to opening up our umbrella at the site. Took their shuttle to the French Quarter and got a sightseeing tour along the way! Didn't need to see anything else it was so good.

Staff was extremely friendly, facilities were very clean and accessible. If we in the area again, we will absolutely stay here again.

Grounds & parking sites were great.Workers were great & helpful. Just miss a hot tub.

Well maintained and clean. Having a person at the gate all night is great for peace of mind. Staff was very helpful and friendly for the most part, but I was followed and confronted by an angry employee over the 5mph speed limit. Despite apologizing and promising to be more careful he continued to act aggressively and made me feel unsafe.

We are a big rig and we’re nervous about the parallel back in sites but a worker was provided to help us back in smoothly on the first attempt. Pool is open year round. Nice playground.

The low oak tree limb should be removed at the North End of the front row.

Hi there! Thank you for your feedback. We do ask all of our guests to wait for assistance with backing into our sites, as back-ins can be tricky & we do have many live oak tress in our park. We do keep them trimmed. Our staff is on hand to help park for this reason. Thanks for your patronage.

Staff is friendly and helpful. This is the only campground (I've stayed) where a campground employee assists every RV camper entering the park to get into their site. Restrooms and showers are super clean and maintained daily. The only reason I didn't rate this KOA a (5) is because of the train horns...this is not the fault of the campground but a liability of its location.

The people are friendly and the spot we parked in was very nice. With that being said, the shower area is in desperate need of repair and updating.

We stayed a week, and are considering a longer stay next year. The camp was clean, the staff was friendly. The recommendations for tours (Saints & Sinners walk & swamp boat) were bang on. We enjoyed the area, felt central to everything, and secure. Was nice to use the pathway/trail along the river to walk our dog along.

While I didn't use the laundry or bathroom facilities, my overall experience was great. The staff were very accommodating, from check-in to assistance in finding my site and positioning my 5th-wheel on the pad, to trash pickup. As I was staying there while managing a project, I even had job supplies delivered to the campground in my name. After-hours security was also evident and appreciated.

The best KOA we’ve stayed at. The spots are wide and it’s not overly crowded. The staff is top notch- super friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the French Quarter is informative. The dog walking service is excellent.

We had a great stay at this KOA! I have to say, “Super Dave” was a better guide than anyone we found in the French Quarter. The campground was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We definitely recommend this location!

Good to see a KOA that meets and exceeds our standards. All of the staff went above and beyond in all areas. I made a video review of the campground which I will share with the campground on 100% of our views. TEN STARS!!

The KOA was extremely clean. The staff were extremely wonderful. The lady that I dealt with had the cash was very very nice. The guy that drove us to town and back I think his name was Greg was very very knowledgeable. Unfortunately for them he's moving. That will be a great loss to them. Love it here!! Everyone is so friendly. The shuttles are great so you do not have to drive into New Orleans and pay a crazy parking fee. The guys are great story tellers about the history of the towns we go through. Love the office/store, everything in the store is so reasonably priced. Also, love the girls at the front, so knowledgeable of tours, restaurants and more. We booked our tours there.

Convenient location, clean, safe park, employees very friendly and nice. Shaded sites, concrete pads, dog park, fun play area for my grandson. We had a great stay and wish we could stay longer. We will be back. Try Debbie on the Levy for breakfast.

We were there for a soccer tournament and our site had a puppy pen and one of pups figured out how to get out of it and right away they came and fixed the fence. Super friendly and professional. Well kept area.

The hosts were friendly and extremely helpful. The campground was clean, quiet, and pleasant to stay at. You were near everything that one would want to see in New Orleans but campground did not give the feel of being near a big city. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very accommodating group of people. Eager to help their customers if needed. Clean bathrooms and showers. Great laundry facility. Excellent shuttle service. Took the stress out of driving to and parking in New Orleans.

Good location near NOLA and our family. We like that there was security for the campground after dark we didn’t use the shuttle, but that is a nice option. There are some potholes in the campground, but that is a given for NOLA roads. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The New Orleans KOA Holiday is a bit of a gem in the rough. It's not a fancy RV resort, but has a variety of camping options. The best thing about this KOA is the service, friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and secure. They provide shuttle service options into town and have a well-stocked store. It's our go-to stop in the area.

We (3 large Class A motor homes) visited New Orleans, LA in May 2026. We stayed 2 days. The sites were level, we were placed next to each other and the staff were fantastic. We took the KOA shuttle to downtown in the morning and were picked up in the afternoon. Our driver, Dave offered historic background info on the city on the drive down and back. He drove by many of the old scenic homes in town. He helped two of our disabled seniors in/out of the van during every journey. He is amazing. Deborah (office) was so nice and helpful. They have a pool, daily trash pickup, a well manicured property and overnight security. We felt safe and cared for during our visit. We highly recommend this campground.
