Enjoyed our stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The grounds are well kept. The shuttle into downtown was excellent. It would be nice if it ran more often.

If I could rate this place it would be 100%. The staff is great. The place is so clean, the showers, laundry room, etc. Mike and Deborah are so nice. I can’t say enough about this place.

Park was good but the roads leading to KOA are less than friendly (low power lines and trees not trimmed for large motorhome transit).

I had so many issues with my camper. Owners assisted with NO charge! (Of course I tipped) Brakes went out also on camper. Peanut crawled under and told me what I needed when I got home because parts wouldn't make it before I left. EVERYONE was so kind and helpful!

We weren't in the campground much but the staff were friendly and what we saw of the facilities were clean. The only downside was that they are close to train tracks and the airport, so we did hear a lot of train and air traffic through the night.

It was perfect. Lovely grounds, staff was wonderful. Great bathroom and lots of showers. Not far from the French Quarter and they even offer a (paid) shuttle. But most of all the grounds were lovely.

Love this campground! This was my 3rd time here. The shuttle service to the French Quarter is a great tour as well. The dog walking service is something every KOA should have. Clean grounds and bathrooms. Friendly staff. One of the best small KOA campgrounds we have been to and we will be back again.

Only two misses with this KOA, neither blamed on the owners/managers. Campground is a little older and minor fixes could be done. Example is the pool was not heated during our stay. A little far (20-30 min) from French Quarter but closest well maintained CG to the city. Jet noise from the airport can be annoying at times depending on flight/takeoff paths (Not on the campground).

As new owners of a 50 yr old park, we're aware of age & have worked our fingers & pockets to the bone to do upgrades & repairs. New fence, pool pump house, lodge, store, laundry & site remodels, new shuttle, 5 new roofs, new wifi ++! Opened pool early cause warm outside. Only 12 miles from Quarter!

Friendly staff, we'll maintained and quiet park. Greatly appreciated the option of the shuttle van taking us to the French Quarter for the day! Nice laundry facility. We would stay again!

We just needed one night near the airport and this KOA was perfect! We were able to take a ride share to the city for 7 hours of sightseeing and another at 4 am to the airport. The office was very helpful and could answer all our questions. Our site was lovely with a great shade tree and made us wish we were staying longer. Hoping to be back soon!

This KOA is a nice little Jewel just west of New Orleans French quarter beautiful well kept park.. Every one of the staff was very kind happy and helpful.

Spot was good and easy to navigate. Facilities were good (dog park was a little small but laundry was terrific!) and we absolutely loved the daily shuttle to the French Quarter. I had difficulty with the train that ran regularly all night (with the drivers using that f*#king whistle that aggravates my tinnitus). Some sort of warning would have been nice. Also a little far from anything.

Hi. Wish the score would've been better for all the good things mentioned. Warnings about city (urban) camping...in our reviews & website & driving over railroad tracks right before coming into our park. Want to be close to Quarter (major city), there's city noise. Closest KOA to Quarter. Thanks

We had a wonderful stay at New Orleans KOA. Michael, Deborah and Doreen were fantastic hosts. The campground and facilities were very clean and we felt very safe. The shuttle ride to the city with Michael was amazing….we learned so much about the area and the history. Michael convinced us to try crawfish ��, and we are glad we did ��. Highly recommend this KOA when visiting New Orleans.

We loved this KOA!! The staff were all friendly and so helpful! They were great with recommendations and directions! Great laundry facilities, very clean and not too far from everything we wanted to see and do. We'll be back!!

Great metro-area campsite—easy access, excellent grass, friendly staff, and level sites made setup simple. Facilities were top-notch. Suggest expanding the dog park or improving the grass there. Also, maybe lock the gift shop when my wife walks in—you’ve got too much good stuff!

We felt so welcomed here! They were super helpful and nice. Our campsite was clean and comfortable. The showers could use some tlc. We experienced some dog owners who need to work on keeping their manners so maybe enforce dog rules a bit better.

Hi! Thanks for your feedback! In the process of our annual shutting down showers, 1 at a time, to re-caulk & repaint. It can be difficult being open 365 days a yr. Bathhouse on the list for remodel, as funds allow. Not sure what dog rules (leash, poop, quiet hrs) but would've stepped in if notified.

Staffs are friendly & helpful. The road leading into park is wide & sign is visble. Road into RV spaces are wide & RV spaces are all backin. Not a huge RV park but very cozy without being feeling ham in. Each RV space is clean & wide for big rig & each row is well organized. Garbage pickup is daily until 6 pm. There's transportation into downtown for sightseeing but it starts at 9 am & returning at 6 pm. We had a front row space & right next to laundry. Laundry room is very clean & dust free. Have front loader washer & dryer, which is good if one has big load. There's lots of restaurants of different kinds of Cajun foods. Walmart is also nearby making shopping for necessities very convenient. Cafe du Monde is about 3 miles from here. Will definitely return. My only complaint is that all deliveries & mail are located right by the front door or office without security & on the floor.

My husband and I just had the best time here! It was a short, unplanned trip. The owners and staff were very accommodating, amazing hosts! They will go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need! Cabin was clean and welcoming, the campground is quiet and beautiful. They offer tours and shuttles to the French Quarter for guests, and have an on site dog walker! We had a great time and will definitely be back! 😁
