Sites are nice size, chairs, picnic table and fire pit are all provided at each site. But the office staff went above and beyond, with their help about visiting we Orleans. We were just passing through so our stay was short but will be back to spend more time for sure.

OMG Where to start?! When we got there the site they gave us had a big tree. That wouldn’t work with our Starlink. When I went in to ask if we could move next door they already were on it. Everyone here was so friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The grounds are immaculate. They were all decked out for Halloween. This place is the best!!!

Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They were flexible when we had an unanticipated need to stay an extra couple of days. The shuttle service to New Orleans is a great plus.

Very clean, level sites, staff is amazing and so helpful, big plus is the Shuttle to downtown. This is the best KOA we have stay at.

Very welcoming. Everyone is friendly and helpful. It is kept very clean. Thankful for the shuttle so we did not have to try to drive the truck into New Orleans, We would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay in New Orleans KOA! They have this thing there called “customer service” that was so refreshing to see. We got information of best things to do and they offer shuttle rides(for a fee) to French Quarters. The staff, everyone of them, were outstanding. I vote them “Best KOA in America.” Thank you all for a wonderful stay!

Loved it. From check in, to the help backing in to our spot, to their knowledge of NOLA and their absolute friendliness. The park was clean and well maintained. I just wished they had a few umbrellas by the pool. Pool was clean but I’m not sure if it’s heated. But the pool temperature was perfect for the hot temps. We hope to be back.

The campground was nice! But 2 nights in a row 2 different men on golf carts ran us down and talked smart regarding my speed. And I’m sure I wasn’t speeding! We left 2 days early to keep from having a confrontation with them. The manger there needs to get this problem stopped!

One of those men was the owner. We take the safety of kids in our park & pets being walked, VERY SERIOUS! You're told the speed limit at check-in, signs are posted everywhere & we nicely slow you down the 1st time. If you were talked to more than once, you were not adhering to our rules.

We stayed (8 days) in the front-line patio site,with fire pit, in a ClassA.We were greeted upon arrival and guided to site. Very friendly & helpful staff. Camp offers rides to New Orleans for small fee or drive yourself because it's nearby the Quarter. Grounds are maintained. Restrooms and showers were always immaculate. The pool looked inviting. Highly recommend. They decorated for Halloween too!

It was a nice location but I guess we expected more room with a “KOA Patio”. The furniture was almost up against our slide and actually impeded use of most of it and took up any space you had to enjoy the patio. I think if it had been seating for two with a small table, it would have been perfect. Seating for six with the huge table just too big for opposing slides. Great staff and beautiful p

This KOA is a small park, however, it has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Next time I'm in NOLA, I'll be staying at this park!

We stayed 4 nights with a travel trailer in site #26. It was a great location right next to the laundry, internet, office, pool and close to the entrance/exit. IT was a level gravel site with shade and picnic table along with FHU/30A service. The KOA is about 30-40 minutes to downtown and all the sites that one would visit. It is close to the Mississippi River as well. The service was excellent!

Exceptional service at this KOA. Doreen took care of all of.our wants and needs including making reservations for several area attractions. Shuttle ride to the city is well worth the money. The KOA RV sites are all back-in, which is not our preference, but assistance from the KOA staff made that easy as well.

Campgrounds and staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Grounds were well kept and clean. Only negative part of the experience was it is very close to the NO airport and plane noise was at times a problem. All in all though very good experience.

Had a Wonderful three night stay here. The sites and facilities were extremely well maintained. This KOA offered shuttle service to the World War II museum and the French Quarter and it was well worth the cost. Greg and Dave worked very hard to maintain the grounds as well as shuttle bus drivers. My wife and I would stay here again when visiting New Orleans.

Clean rest rooms and showers. Camp sites well appointed with Adirondack chairs and fire pits. Easy in and out with staff assistance backing in. First time KOA camper. Will return.

The New Orleans KOA Holiday is a bit of a gem in the rough. It's not a fancy RV resort, but has a variety of camping options. The best thing about this KOA is the service, friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and secure. They provide shuttle service options into town and have a well-stocked store. It's our go-to stop in the area.

We (3 large Class A motor homes) visited New Orleans, LA in May 2026. We stayed 2 days. The sites were level, we were placed next to each other and the staff were fantastic. We took the KOA shuttle to downtown in the morning and were picked up in the afternoon. Our driver, Dave offered historic background info on the city on the drive down and back. He drove by many of the old scenic homes in town. He helped two of our disabled seniors in/out of the van during every journey. He is amazing. Deborah (office) was so nice and helpful. They have a pool, daily trash pickup, a well manicured property and overnight security. We felt safe and cared for during our visit. We highly recommend this campground.
