Great people and cool place. Nice dog park and close enough to everything. Bring something to get the acorns off if you have slides. We listened to acorns fall the entire stay then when I arrived home I realized all the acorns that were on top of my slides were now everywhere in our fifth wheel. I’m rating four stars because the acorn mishap and because it’s slightly narrow but overall it’s

The KOA staff was very much on top of their game. The overall park was very well maintained and clean. The campsites were no exception. We had the occasion to visit with the staff regarding local opportunities and sites. I'm sure this is a frequent conversation and they remained friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient to tour the area. Thank you!!

Friendly staff, nice roomy camp site. Some noise from trains but not too bad. Bike trail and decent restaurants nearby.

KOA is clean, maintained and polite knowledgeable workers. unfortunately the park is situated really close to active railway which run all night.

We make it clear, as do others in their reviews, that we're IN the city, with city noises. It's super helpful to research where you're going, before staying at a place & leaving neg reviews, esp over things out of our control. It's nice to get reviewed based off our actual park & service. Thanks

These facilities were very nice. The staff were very cordial and helpful. My low ratings are because of “incidental expenses” that our visitors had to pay just because they were on the property. I can understand insurance companies wanting to keep track of people coming onto the property. Making money off of dinner guest is another thing.

When checking in, we were accused of bait & switch & ripping people off, because our shuttle costs. Now, a neg review about our visitor policy. Both are on our website. Not to mention we had to stop said guests more than once for flying through our park, endangering others. Thanks for your patronage

I had a 9 week training to attend in Kenner and the NOLA KOA was the perfect fit. I always felt safe day and night. The staff are exceptional!

Extremely clean, well maintained facility. Staff is very friendly. Just one downside, we were under an oak tree and acorns kept falling. Yet this was nothing that they could prevent since the trees have been there for years. Love trees!

Very nice clean and well run KOA. Staff is fantastic. Excellent place to stay if visiting new Orleans. Keep an eye out for ants. Staff will assist if any on your site.

Close to New Orleans without being in the city. Friendly staff and big lots. No pull thru s but they will help with unloading your car and car dolly.

We love the way this KOA is literally just a hop-skip down the road from downtown New Orleans, plus they offer a shuttle service that allowed us to explore the BIG Easy without needing to find parking. It made it possible for us to have a great experience even with just a short stay. Keep up the great work!!!

All the employees are welcoming and kind with a wealth of information. We liked the shuttle into the city. The laundry room was nice and clean. You are near a big city, so there is the typical road noise at night. The worst part was the train blowing the whistle obnoxiously in the evening hours!

Nice facilities and very pleasant staff. Sites are moderately close to each other, but flat and paved. Some guests park in roadway, leaving a narrow path in and out. It is an urban setting so you do get train horns at night and MSY aircraft noise at time. Full hook ups at rear with sewer to side. Lots of trees and grass. All and all, if back in NOLA with the trailer, we would return.

The KOA is conveniently located and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our two night stay with one exception. We were parked in site 46 under a mature Oake Tree. Acorns fell from the tree 24 hours a day and sounded like bombs landed on top of the camper. It woke us up several times during the night. If any campers see this review, don't book this site or allow them to assign it to you!

The staff treat you like welcome family! It is immaculately clean inside and out. The laundry house is well kept and affordable! The office store has a wonderful variety of goods. The shuttle into the French Quarter is like a tour in itself! Our only diwn side was having to leave this treasure of the south!

Great quiet little park. The staff was great, the park was clean, attention to detail was very high, and lot size was very nice. The only thing keeping my rating from being perfect is the distance to the sights, cost of a ride to go, and simply getting there.

The New Orleans KOA Holiday is a bit of a gem in the rough. It's not a fancy RV resort, but has a variety of camping options. The best thing about this KOA is the service, friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and secure. They provide shuttle service options into town and have a well-stocked store. It's our go-to stop in the area.

We (3 large Class A motor homes) visited New Orleans, LA in May 2026. We stayed 2 days. The sites were level, we were placed next to each other and the staff were fantastic. We took the KOA shuttle to downtown in the morning and were picked up in the afternoon. Our driver, Dave offered historic background info on the city on the drive down and back. He drove by many of the old scenic homes in town. He helped two of our disabled seniors in/out of the van during every journey. He is amazing. Deborah (office) was so nice and helpful. They have a pool, daily trash pickup, a well manicured property and overnight security. We felt safe and cared for during our visit. We highly recommend this campground.
