Nice KOA with very clean amenities and a wonderful staff. Location was good because it was just across from the beautiful Mississippi River, but it was also not good because it's very close to train tracks with very loud and frequent trains in the evening and occassionally in the middle of the night. Also, not many good restaurants, grocery, or shopping nearby.

Hi. We make it very clear, as do our reviews, that we are in the city with city noises. We could have given info. We are IN a major city...we have 10-15 grocery stores, 2 Super Walmarts & TONS of restaurants within a 5 mile radius, some even walkable! We have 2 malls within 10 mile radius! Thank you

Great location outside the city. Clean campground. Wonderful and super friendly customer service. Short drive to hop on the St. Charles trolley.

We stayed in a patio site. back in but nice site. We used the laundry that was spacious, clean, and had multiple washers and dryers. We used the shuttle service 3 times to the French Quarter. Great service that I wish more KOAs would provide. $10/ea or $15/ea round trip. We took Uber return on Friday night and it was $30 one way for 2 of us. Uber driver got a little lost getting around parade.

Friendly staff and owners , shuttle is very convenient for downtown excursions. Showers were clean and HOT. Our spot had a fireplace and table and chairs with umbrella.

One month in NOLA, everything was great. All the people working at the park were helpful. We had a great stay.

Very friendly staff! Very knowledgable about the city and helped is book tours. They have a shuttle bus to the downtown which made getting around a breeze. Dave our driver gave us a great insight to the city history!

We enjoyed our stay. Friendly snd helpful staff. Easy to find. This time we stayed in a cabin. I leave my camper in FL for the winter. The cabin was clean and inviting. Slept great on the sofa bed. The bedroom was cute and comfortable.

Our second time staying here, we enjoyed the customer service, all the facilities are really nice and we've got some really nice upgraded sites. We enjoy using this time, it's close to everything and very safe with Security at night, we really appreciate that, we will be going back in the future as well

Phenomenal staff,friendly, knowledgeable,helpful & shared great tips.Super clean bathrooms & laundry!Site is clean & well cared for.Easy to get to downtown for activities.Great souvenirs in the store.The bad for us we had loud & screaming kids next to us, the train is loud at all hours & a lot of airplane noise, but that’s not the KOAs fault!

The campground was very nice, super clean laundry room with new dryers! However, we did not know there was a train track 2 blocks away that was very busy blowing train horns most of the night every night! Takes a toll on your sleep after three nights.

We make it abundantly clear, as do our reviews, that we are IN the city, with city noises. Every, single RV park in & around New Orleans/the French Quarter, would be the same, as it is a CITY. It's helpful to research where you're going. Thanks for your patronage.

Very friendly office personnel and workers. When they escort you to your site they are very helpful in helping you back into site. Easy access to city of New Orleans. Would definitely stay there again.

Very well kept up campground. Staff is friendly and helpful. The location is nice considering it is in a city. The offering of the shuttle to different destinations is a very nice amenity. We will come back if we ever visit New Orleans again.

There were wierd people walking around the camp ground all night long.

Our park is staffed 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Our entrance is blocked off at night, we patrol all night, are fenced & have cameras all the way around our park. There isn't a SOUL in our park that isn't supposed to be. Everyone in our park has paid what you did & deserve the same treatment. Thanks

Excellent service and clean facilities. Nervous about camping in NOLA, but the staff made us feel very secure. Dave is a fantastic tour guide on the shuttle service!

Not allowing the ability to position your camper so that you have the correct access to the sewer, water or electric is ridiculous. The sites are way too short for anything greater than 35' and the interior roads are full of potholes.

Hello. Our sites can definitely accommodate big rigs. We try our best to accommodate all guest wishes, including picking a smaller site because it's cheaper. We do plan a future extensive remodel of our back row/road. Our guys will help with getting into a site at the right spot for hookups. Thanks

Sites are short and close together. We have a small travel trailer and had just enough room to park our truck. Definitely not built for today's larger rigs. Location is right around the corner from the airport and multiple freight train tracks. The trains blow their whistles all night long. We would not camp here again.

This is one of worst KOAs I've ever stayed at. How it has the holiday title is beyond me. There weren't the amenities like a holiday should have. The road in the park is in poor condition. We left after one night.

We get our points for our amenities like our tour desk, shuttle, dog walker, rv wash, etc. We qualify because of them. It's hard to experience all we offer in 1 night. It would've been nice to not book a rv wash that you stood up & then also to leave a review like this. Thanks for your patronage.

We spend every Christmas in New Orleans and the New Orleans KOA is the BEST! The staff are so helpful and kind, they treat you like family and we really appreciate them and all they do for the campers. We had family from Michigan join us in NOLA for Christmas and they stayed at the KOA in one of their cabins, they loved it! Thanks Mike, Deb, Doreen and staff! See you next year :)

Stayed in a wonderful deluxe cabin with a nice kitchenette, big TV, nice shower and bedroom. Very nice campground with wonderful pool, store and gorgeous laundry facility on site, too! Owner and employees were all so pleasant!! Will return next time in NOLA.

Really enjoyed the transportation to Downtown New Orleans for a reasonable cost. The office was very helpful arranging our tours. The employee that help us park our M/H into our site was very good.

Wow! Such a nice campground. The staff was so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The cabin was extremely nice and clean. The campground is well maintained and quiet. I can not say enough good things about this place. I hope to visit again one day. The little details the cabin had such as the beautiful pot plants, the nice grill, the paver porch just added a sense of home. The staff - top notch!

The New Orleans KOA Holiday is a bit of a gem in the rough. It's not a fancy RV resort, but has a variety of camping options. The best thing about this KOA is the service, friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and secure. They provide shuttle service options into town and have a well-stocked store. It's our go-to stop in the area.

We (3 large Class A motor homes) visited New Orleans, LA in May 2026. We stayed 2 days. The sites were level, we were placed next to each other and the staff were fantastic. We took the KOA shuttle to downtown in the morning and were picked up in the afternoon. Our driver, Dave offered historic background info on the city on the drive down and back. He drove by many of the old scenic homes in town. He helped two of our disabled seniors in/out of the van during every journey. He is amazing. Deborah (office) was so nice and helpful. They have a pool, daily trash pickup, a well manicured property and overnight security. We felt safe and cared for during our visit. We highly recommend this campground.
