The place is clean & convenient to the area's attractions and has a shuttle to take you to the city center for a small fee. The staff is friendly and helpful too. All that said, if you don't like noise, and I mean a lot of it, this will not be for you. Between the nearby trains & the airport you can count on a lot of noise all day & night. For us it wasn't a major deal but you should be prepared.

Bathhouse could use since attention, for the rates I'd expect a lot more modern. One worker in office not very welcoming. Also wanted to charge a fee for a little bit of early check-in, not sure I've ever had to pay for that anywhere. Other worker very nice. Overall it worked for us but wanted to share these two things guy the order they charge.

Hi! As new owners, we're tirelessly working on updates. The bathhouse is on the list. Rates were higher, as prices are higher at every hotel & campground across the city at Mardi Gras. Early check ins, esp. at Mardi Gras have a fee due to the site still being occupied & having to move things around.

It's was another awesome stay, will be going back again. The owner's and staff we're very friendly a knowledgeable. Will recommend to anyone thinking of going to New Orleans.

The reason why it is not a 5 : the asphalt in all the alleys needs to be replaced! The pool was not usable (not heated)

Hi! As new owners, we're tirelessly working on updates to our park. Open all year, so it will be a massive undertaking to shut down a side for the road, but we do plan on it. We do get winter weather, so our pool closes for the season, as stated on our website. We do plan on heating it. Thank you!

Everyone was friendly and helpful. David guided us straight into our spot. Staff in the store were great!!!! The King Cake and coffee were an added touch on Fat Tuesday.

Very nice staff. Shuttle to French Quarter is very convenient. Due to severe rains recently there was a lot of water and the dog park was very muddy so wasn't able to use. Camp Bow Wow nearby for those who need doggie day care or pet boarding while visiting the city. Site was level and had a great fire pit, and furniture.

We called for a last minute reservation on the Thursday afternoon of Mardi Gras weekend. We had reservations at the local state park starting on Friday, however we arrived a day early and didn’t have a spot. They had a spot available for us and we stayed one night. Great helpful and caring staff, helped us back into an exceptionally tight spot. Only complaint was the price for one night.

Doreen at the front desk made my stay complete. All the workers are awesome but this lady would go out of her way to chat with you. They fix anything that’s breaks asap. Would highly recommend this place.

The staff is great and the location is great. The showers and Laundry facilities are top notch. It will be 5 stars if they keep working on the sites. Each site is similar but not in the same condition. Some patio furniture was top notch others not as much. We would stay here again and recommend that you do also.

Staff was friendly and helpful, campground a bit rough and not big rig friendly- low over hanging wires, some trees, tight turnout - if your careful you can sort through all that and be right in town, which is the best part

Everyone was so friendly & helpful from the office staff to the shuttle drivers. My husband & I couldn't find anything to complain about. We will definitely book again when we want to return to New Orleans. I do miss hearing the train whistles. In other people's reviews, that was a complaint. I found that they added to the atmosphere of the area. Thank you all for treating us like family.

The Staff exceptional, friendly, helpful. The site was perfect for our 43' rig. Loved they had a table wirh chairs , an umbrella , bench and an awesome firepit. We were on a concrete pad. Thank you for amazing service.

All staff were very helpful. It was our first time in New Orleans so they were especially attentive to our needs with suggestions, maps, etc. Would recommend them highly!

Loved the friendly and helpful staff. The shuttle to the FQ is great! Train noise and neighborhood noise at night are the only negatives.

Very nice, Dave was great he drove us in town the two mornings we were there, very positive and up beat. We loved that convince. Store and bathrooms were great. Love the new store.

The sites were nice but the internet and also cable was very spotty. The rec room leaves a lot to be desired, basically nothing there.

Site had a big sink hole in it so couldn’t fully park properly, renovated shower house and office were nice, fence around property is falling down and looks horrible. Biggest problem is that they will not refund an additional van ride charge on our credit card.

Folks were really nice, store office area was cute and items priced nicely, campground was a little rough. Real disappointed that there was no communication regarding the water issue.

stay was fine but did not know the shuttle was no longer free. that added 50-60 usd per day onto an already expensive stay. the train was annoying but noise stopped later in the night. would stay somewhere else even if its further out of town because you have to commute anyway.

Hi! Our shuttle hasn't been free for a few years, as stated on our website. When we brought it back after covid, we could no longer absorb the cost. We keep it lower cost than any way into the city or parking down there. We are a city park with city noises. We appreciate your patronage.

We took the shuttle into town told to call before two. We could be picked up at 3:30. We didn’t get picked up till 530 standing out in the cold not wanting to miss it so I think the way to fix this is reimbursed me $30 what do you think?

It was very clean and inviting place, Way too many dogs are from my taste. I still can't get over the fact of being 3 feet from each other. But it wasn't a good location for us. Depending on who was attending the counter. Depends on how good a service and how good the smile you got

Bicyclist-friendly campground featuring private tent spots, clean restrooms & showers, a pool, recreation room (with foosball and a wii console!), and friendly staff. Restaurants & downtown River Ridge are within walking distance, and they offer a paid shuttle into New Orleans.

The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. They ran a shuttle in and out of the French Quarter for a small fee. The facilities are good and, should you need a part for an RV, they won't gouge you. They really run the park like a hotel in regards to concierge service.
