This is one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at in a long time. If you are unfamiliar with the area, you are able to book all your tours through the office and the camp store is STOCKED with everything you forgot or need. All the spots are back in, but the staff escorts and backs you in . Follow their instructions and you back in like a pro and save your marriage. Shuttle service to downtown

Been staying there for over 6 years when visiting New Orleans. Always a welcoming staff, many who have been there for years. Safe. Clean facilities. Well maintained park.

Sites were very nice and the staff was wonderful and very helpfull. Used the shuttles to go to Bourbon St which was very nice.

New Orleans KOA was a small park conveniently located near the city. Access was close to I10. All of the sites are back-in. The hosts are friendly and very helpful with parking your rv. Not many on site amenities.

Hi! We're in the city, so yes, small. We pack in as many amenities as we can. We have a dog park, playground, rec hall, pool, laundry room, bathhouse, store, fire pit & grill rentals, dog walking services, on site rv repair & wash, shuttle & concierge desk that books all your tours for you. Thanks!

Stayed in our 23ft Sprinter van. A staff member guided us to our site and offered any help needed. All facilities were clean and working. We took the shuttle from the campground to downtown NO. Would recommend it. The driver offered a lot of information during the trip, a great way to get to the French Quarter.

Excellent stay, friendly greeting and prompt, friendly service, smooth check in and a personal escort to the site ( he guided the back in ) which was amazing so I didn’t have to help my husband haha IYKYK…. Big space, everything is in good repair, bathrooms are very clean and It’s very quiet ! The shuttle van to French Quarter was affordable and informative !

I stayed for 19 months as a travel nurse, it was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I had was having to pay extra to keep my RV there the week of Mardi Gras.

Hi! We do have higher rates at Mardi Gras, as does every place in the city. Before we allow a long term in, we let them know of the Mardi Gras charge & they have a choice to pay the extra or pull out for Mardi Gras. They agree to this before hand, on paper at check in & when they pay to stay. Thanks

We really enjoyed the owners and their staff. Very pleasant stay. It was a business trip with an added vacations. They had a shuttle bus to and from the French Quarters, with a little history that driver gave us on the way to and from the French Quarters. Very memorable!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in one of their deluxe cabins! It’s so much better than a hotel, cause we also had our own private outdoor seating area. Very friendly staff and so close to exploring all that New Orleans has to offer! Highly recommend!

It was very nice. We used the shuttle for 2 days, and both drivers were very formative on the route we took. Pointing out all the interesting things on the way in and out. Would stay here again. Office staff was very pleasant and helpful. Thank you.

Disappointed pool was not open. Train and airplane noise are a factor in your visit.

Hi! We are a city park, so yes, there are city noises. We try to make up for that with our service! We do wish we had been judged on a little more than that & the fact that our pool is closed in the winter, which is stated on our website & is the case at most campgrounds. Thank you.

We were welcomed by friends it seemed like. Everyone there was very nice and the shuttle drivers so knowledgeable of local people and lore. Gave us tons of tips for the mardis gras parade. We had a wonderful stay and when we go back we will be staying there!

The place is clean & convenient to the area's attractions and has a shuttle to take you to the city center for a small fee. The staff is friendly and helpful too. All that said, if you don't like noise, and I mean a lot of it, this will not be for you. Between the nearby trains & the airport you can count on a lot of noise all day & night. For us it wasn't a major deal but you should be prepared.

Bathhouse could use since attention, for the rates I'd expect a lot more modern. One worker in office not very welcoming. Also wanted to charge a fee for a little bit of early check-in, not sure I've ever had to pay for that anywhere. Other worker very nice. Overall it worked for us but wanted to share these two things guy the order they charge.

Early check ins, esp. at Mardi Gras have a fee due to the site still being occupied & having to move things around.

The reason why it is not a 5 : the asphalt in all the alleys needs to be replaced! The pool was not usable (not heated)

Everyone was friendly and helpful. David guided us straight into our spot. Staff in the store were great!!!! The King Cake and coffee were an added touch on Fat Tuesday.

Very nice staff. Shuttle to French Quarter is very convenient. Due to severe rains recently there was a lot of water and the dog park was very muddy so wasn't able to use. Camp Bow Wow nearby for those who need doggie day care or pet boarding while visiting the city. Site was level and had a great fire pit, and furniture.

We called for a last minute reservation on the Thursday afternoon of Mardi Gras weekend. We had reservations at the local state park starting on Friday, however we arrived a day early and didn’t have a spot. They had a spot available for us and we stayed one night. Great helpful and caring staff, helped us back into an exceptionally tight spot. Only complaint was the price for one night.

Doreen at the front desk made my stay complete. All the workers are awesome but this lady would go out of her way to chat with you. They fix anything that’s breaks asap. Would highly recommend this place.

The staff is great and the location is great. The showers and Laundry facilities are top notch. It will be 5 stars if they keep working on the sites. Each site is similar but not in the same condition. Some patio furniture was top notch others not as much. We would stay here again and recommend that you do also.

Staff was friendly and helpful, campground a bit rough and not big rig friendly- low over hanging wires, some trees, tight turnout - if your careful you can sort through all that and be right in town, which is the best part

Fantastic Campground!! The shuttle is the best deal in town. The staff are phenomenal, everything is clean, laundry was great, grills and fire pits for tent rental (delivered and picked up at site) and exceptional wi-fi. We added an extra day the next morn due to the great benefit this site offers. There is some noise from train/plane traffic - but I slept well even being moderately noise sensitive and I have experienced much worse road noise at other KOAs. I would gladly stay here again.

Our Family had a Blast during Easter week. The KOA Family are SUPER nice people the park is spotless. We used the shuttle all week 10:30 drop off and 5:15 pickup. The Easter Parade was Great. Definitely will be back. One more thing: Dots Dinner walking distance the milk shakes are great.

I came in as a long time resident. I was so elated and excited about the welcoming I received from every last one of the staff that lived on the grounds. The amenities are endless; super clean laundry room with really affordable machines, ironing table, folding table, a/c and tv. Even had rockers sitting outside to just enjoy the fresh air if you choose. Nice and clean pool. a building for private showers and restrooms. It's amazing. Let's not forget the shuttle that takes you to the Grench Quarters. Ask for Ms. Doreen, she is one of my favorites.
