I highly recommend the shuttle! Dave was awesome at his tour guide job taking us in to town. We had a nice back in spot! No one behind us. Friendly & knowledgeable staff.

Great and safe campground close to New Orleans. Able to get into the city very easily but far enough away you aren't near the craziness. Do hear the planes during the day but not much at all during the night. Would recommend if you want to stay close to New Orleans!

At first we were concerned about the location of this KOA but it proved to be the best place. This KOA is VERY clean, office staff very friendly and professional. They helped us book a Hop On Hop Off bus tour right there in the office and they have a shuttle van to take you into the city to avoid bringing your vehicle in. Huge bonus for $15/person. Highly recommend for your hub to NOLA!

It rained for the first couple days but it was a great get away and glad we purchased the weather guarantee protection. The staff at the KOA River Ridge La was awesome and was there on hand if you needed anything. Sites were well maintained and they made sure to treat for ants after the heavy rains. Highly recommend this KOA if you’re planing to camp in NOLA. There sites are on pads, Nice!

Excellent campground. Friendly, very clean, great WiFi, fantastic location with super amenities. We’ve have stayed here more than 6 times. Love the organization too.

Misleading website. This KOA is in the ghetto! There is nothing to do at this KOA that makes it a "holiday" experience. There are no shops nearby! No restaurants! The pool was dirty. The staff was only nice upon arrival. When we stated our disappointment and that we were leaving a day early she showed zero concern and no attempt to remedy the issue was even offered. Do not stay here.

This was our first KOA stay in many many years and we were very impressed. The host were great and helped us get into the French Quarter with a great experience. We will definitely be back- thank you.

Very nice park! Friendly, helpful staff and clean restrooms. Good location to French Quarter with a shuttle to take you there. Would definitely stay again!

Friendly, Easy check in……Lots of Shade Trees ….Good selection of Mardi Gras masks/beads etc Well stocked with New Orleans souvenir’s … Campground provides a daily ride by 8 passenger van to the French Quarter. Leave @9am and driver will pick you up @5:15 pm ….Shout out to Dave our tour guide !! So informative /knowledgeable and Fun ���

Very welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. Very clean and organized campground. Really appreciated the night time guard at the gate. Highly recommend staying.

After RV break-down and repair we arrived later than normal, but were met as we pulled in, paperwork was ready and we were shown to out space. Spaces aren't too close together and it was nice and quiet during our week here.

We loved the campground and the staff. Shuttles to the Jazzfest were fun with Dave. Great guy!! My only wish would have been to be offered a refund for our last day since we had to check out due to an unexpected family emergency in Arkansas.

Hello. Unfortunately, cities are FULL of power lines...that's what New Orleans is...a city. We have no control over that. Our park is a home base for going into said city to explore & experience it. Our park is relatively quiet with the exceptions of trains, because again, we're in a city. Thanks

This KOA is amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful. They provide shuttle service (for a fee) to the heart of NOLA. They sell all the the top rated tourist activities making it sightseeing easy. The RV park is well kept, clean, and quiet. Will sta again.

Very helpful and friendly staff; campground clean and well maintained; good location; quiet; shuttle service was very helpful and convenient; would definitely highly recommend; oh, Dave, the shuttle driver was personable, accommodating, and informative.

Very clean park with superb amenities. The staff are so nice and helpful and the shuttles are top notch. The store had many cute New Orleans gifts and everything we needed. The pool was also very clean and refreshing. We stayed for Jazz Fest and are already planning on staying here next year again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is close to downtown New Orleans, but far enough away to avoid crowds. Loved the shuttle service to downtown. It was in expensive and Dave is an outgoing and informative unofficial guide to the sights along the way. Well stocked camp store of Mardi Gras and NOLA.

Our site was very level and easy to back into. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provide a shuttle into New Orleans for $15 per person. This is very reasonable as parking for the day costs much more than that. Not all sites have a fire pit at them, but the rate to rent one is reasonable (cost us $10 for 4 nights). Security is fantastic.

Staffs are friendly & helpful. The road leading into park is wide & sign is visble. Road into RV spaces are wide & RV spaces are all backin. Not a huge RV park but very cozy without being feeling ham in. Each RV space is clean & wide for big rig & each row is well organized. Garbage pickup is daily until 6 pm. There's transportation into downtown for sightseeing but it starts at 9 am & returning at 6 pm. We had a front row space & right next to laundry. Laundry room is very clean & dust free. Have front loader washer & dryer, which is good if one has big load. There's lots of restaurants of different kinds of Cajun foods. Walmart is also nearby making shopping for necessities very convenient. Cafe du Monde is about 3 miles from here. Will definitely return. My only complaint is that all deliveries & mail are located right by the front door or office without security & on the floor.

My husband and I just had the best time here! It was a short, unplanned trip. The owners and staff were very accommodating, amazing hosts! They will go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need! Cabin was clean and welcoming, the campground is quiet and beautiful. They offer tours and shuttles to the French Quarter for guests, and have an on site dog walker! We had a great time and will definitely be back! 😁
