This KOA is close to everything including the train and airport. It’s a smaller KOA, like a journey, but great place if you want to see the area. It’s not a good place if you are needing to work. Trees blocked the satellite and they are not accommodating since they provide internet, which is not reliable for work. Most of the staff is very friendly. Bathrooms are clean.

Hi! A few reasons we can't be a Journey, like not having pull-thrus. We meet all the requirements for a Holiday. Most people request that nicer, shadier site. We try our hardest to accommodate satellites, if we are told. The city has been having issues with lines, which is out of our control. Thanks

Staff was friendly and helpful. Facility was well maintained. Loved the shuttle to NO along with the commentation along the way. It shows that your employees know the area and that visitors would appreciate someone else doing the driving into town! Smaller than most KOAs but it packs a lot into it. Well stocked store, nice laundry facilities and shower rooms. I had reservations about it being a "back in only" site because I'm new at that but the gentleman who assisted me (sorry, can't recall his name) was excellent. Great little campground. You can hear planes from airport so if peace is your thing. 20 minutes from DT New Orleans

The slope on the concrete pad on site 84 about took our undercarriage. We are in a Class b. I was afraid to take the van out during our 4 day stay due to this. It was convenient having a $15 RT shuttle into town. David was awesome. Having a pet walker available was also a plus.

Very nice. Entire staff were outstanding. Close to French Quarter with shuttle service 2x a day. Planning a return trip next year.

Campground was great, but a little too far from downtown New Orleans. We didn’t use the shuttle because the times were not convenient for us, but it was pretty convenient for an Uber or Lyft ride into town and back. Campground hosts were super helpful and friendly. Site itself was great.

The campground was clean and quiet. Everyone that we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the daily shuttle and found lots to do!

When we got there we were greeted by the office staff. Found out it is a family run business. They get along very well. They were very welcoming. They gave us information on New Orleans. They have a shuttle to take you down to New Orleans and bring you back the best. Skater escorted us to our site and assisted backing in and then we settled down. After that we went into New Orleans When you came

Easy access off Interstate. Close to WW2 museum, Bourbon Street, Jackson Square and Cafe DuMond. Clean laundry facility. Wifi was strong. Pleasant, helpful staff and well kept grounds. Great place to stay while visiting NOLA.

If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax away from the French Quarter, this is NOT the place. Located in a questionable area of town, with noise from the nearby airport and railroad tracks. I’m surprised it has a KOA rating.

Friendly stuff, good recommondation how to reach the city without the car, clean facilities, the site itself is not that nice.

We reserved our site last minute. Koa was very accommodating. Robert was there to greet us when we arrived and took us to our site. The bathrooms were super clean. The showers had hot water. This was a great place to stay.

This is our second stay here. Normally not a fan of KOA's, but found a lot of good ones lately. KOA New Orleans takes the prize for the best. The people/staff are great. The guys who direct you into your site are amazing. Everyone is very helpful. They have a dailey (4 times) shuttle into the city. Would stay here agaon.

Hosts were very helpful, even helped to fix our cable problem in the rain. The campground has a shuttle to the French Quarter. I will definitely stay there again when I am in the area.

The staff was very helpful, and gave great suggestions about things to do (airboat ride). Chad is a hard worker and keeps the place looking tip top. The shuttle into New Orleans is convenient, and affordable, but not flexible in terms of drop off locations and times. The RV sites were all concrete and level. You are near the airport and the train tracks so some noise. We would stay here again.

Not many facilities, only one way in or out, only has back in sites, and road in/out is pretty rough. Tiny location and does not seem fire safe the way cars/trucks are parked on either side of the already narrow street. Staff was helpful and friendly but very limited facility.

Return trip to tent camp at this location. Fantastic facility. Very friendly staff. We took advantage of their great shuttle to and from the French Quarter. Unfortunately we had a mechanical breakdown returning. However the staff handled it with great concern for those on board and all was resolved in a very timely manner. Thank you for a great stay!

Very nice place to stay while visiting the French Quarter. Green grass and the family that runs it are very helpful. Even have someone for a fee but worth it to take your dogs out. Nice touch!

Fantastic Campground!! The shuttle is the best deal in town. The staff are phenomenal, everything is clean, laundry was great, grills and fire pits for tent rental (delivered and picked up at site) and exceptional wi-fi. We added an extra day the next morn due to the great benefit this site offers. There is some noise from train/plane traffic - but I slept well even being moderately noise sensitive and I have experienced much worse road noise at other KOAs. I would gladly stay here again.

Our Family had a Blast during Easter week. The KOA Family are SUPER nice people the park is spotless. We used the shuttle all week 10:30 drop off and 5:15 pickup. The Easter Parade was Great. Definitely will be back. One more thing: Dots Dinner walking distance the milk shakes are great.

I came in as a long time resident. I was so elated and excited about the welcoming I received from every last one of the staff that lived on the grounds. The amenities are endless; super clean laundry room with really affordable machines, ironing table, folding table, a/c and tv. Even had rockers sitting outside to just enjoy the fresh air if you choose. Nice and clean pool. a building for private showers and restrooms. It's amazing. Let's not forget the shuttle that takes you to the Grench Quarters. Ask for Ms. Doreen, she is one of my favorites.
