The grounds are poorly kept. The corrugated fence is old and falling over. The road is full of potholes. The pool and pump equipment is out in the open and taped with yellow caution tape. Our son’s site had a hole covered by plywood and had 2 orange cones to warn of the hazard. They had a sewer smell that was very strong. The employees were friendly. The bathroom was nice.

We loved this campground! All the amenities you need, Excellent staff, cute town not too far from NOLA and amazing laundry facilities. Would definitely return and recommend.

It was a wonderful place to stay. I always felt safe. They provide for a small fee a shuttle into the city. It was close enough that my husband and I rode our Ebikes on the Levy bike trail, which was literally across the street. It made for such a wonderful and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend

Best KOA location we have ever stayed at. We tented and they have AWESOME tenting locations. The bathrooms were very clean with individual showers. The staff was so informative and very nice. We appreciated the information given to us about the French Quarter and all of the activities we could do around New Orleans. It was a quiet location that was easy to find.

Staff fantastic, ultra friendly and helpful. Daily shuttles into and back from NO, very convenient. Only issue is all sites are back in with a narrow street separating the 30 Amp and 50 Amp sites. Larger class A rigs and 5th wheels could have trouble backing in and leaving due to parking on the street in front of sites.

The staff goes above and beyond with help. The staff inside is always happy to share information and things to do and the staff outside are always available to help. You can always find a KOA golf cart rolling around the park and we felt very safe and secure.

Don't let the "Closest KOA to the French Quarter" make you think you're close--it's 10/12 mi away. KOA ride in is $15 rd trip dropping you off at French Quarter. Take an hour to go the distance (Just get me there, geez!!!!). Staff is very friendly/helpful and can book several tours etc for you. Sites are small and tight.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The laundry room was so clean and bright, new equipment and open 24 hours. We used the showers and was pleased with their condition and amenities. The place was so convenient to a bike path along the Mississippi, which we used two different days. Sites were close but we never felt crowded I would highly recommend this KOA.

The staff is good and the place is kept clean. The bathhouse is nice. Location not the best. There is a lingering smell of sewage that may not be caused at the campground. Never the less it is unpleasant.

We had an issue with our RV which needed some major repair. The guys at this KOA were over the top helpful with resources, the office was able to easily book us for an additional night stay. Everyone was top notch. Highly recommend this KOA.

Grounds were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful! Winn Dixie was close. Not many restaurant choices close by. We enjoyed the bike trail near by. Trailered our bikes to City Park (which was beautiful) continued on bike path to French Quarters.

Quite quiet, very clean, romantic train passing thru, kind people, Bill saves many marriages and partnerships helping with backing trainlers and RVs into their spots. Store was perfect, all ya need. Many thanks. All KOAs are not created equal. This one was lovely. One thought, we are currently without a dog but our Newfie would have been accross the entire dog park in 2 or 3 bounds.

Greatly appreciate that you have your own shuttle into downtown New Orleans and sell the Hop On/Off tickets there.My 2nd time here. Thanks Only negative your road and some campsite entrances could use some filling in to make them less steep/smoother. Mine was okay but next to mine people kept scraping going in and out

Very convenient location and a quiet break from the city scene. Staff was extremely welcoming and gave us excellent tips for exploring New Orleans. All facilities were very clean and easy to access.

Wir waren eine Nacht auf diesem sehr sauberen und ruhigen Platz. Das Personal und der Chef sind sehr freundlich und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Der Shuttle durcheführt vom Chef ist Gold wert. Alles in allem ist dieser Platz sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben ein Deutsches Renterpaar auf dem Platz getroffe und hatten eine kurze aber schöne gemeinsame Zeit dort. Grüße aus Deutschland

The Staff at the New Orleans KOA are Excellent! The guys who back you in (Chad, Ron, Bill) are excellent at there jobs! Mike the General Manager is a gracious host. We have been stay there for 12 years for Mardi Gras. Doreen at the front office is the nicest lady you would ever want to deal with. Maxine and RC Mackey

Location was clean, felt safe, and staff were very helpful, especially Teressa. She accommodated us coming a day early, gave us great tips for parking and helped us find fun things to do with our kids.

My time was very nice. I enjoyed chatting with and getting recommendations from Teresa, she was very helpful! I loved having the shuttle service! It made for worry-free opportunities for a solo woman traveler to get to and from the city. Mike was a great tour guide and driver. I enjoyed learning from him as we made the trip several times together. Thanks for a great stay!

Small KOA. We have a pop-up camper, so we could hear the loud trains and airplanes. I used earplugs. Part of road needs re-paving. Some areas can flood quickly in heavy rain. Restrooms & showers were clean, never had to wait. There is security watch on a golf cart all night long. Took us about 30 min to drive downtown. Lots cheaper than hotels. And even though we paid for downtown parking, we would have had to pay hotels for parking our vehicle.

It was very clean and inviting place, Way too many dogs are from my taste. I still can't get over the fact of being 3 feet from each other. But it wasn't a good location for us. Depending on who was attending the counter. Depends on how good a service and how good the smile you got
