This KOA is great, such friendly and knowledgeable staff, Mike, Ashley, Doreen, Greg and Dave were amazing. The site was great and directions from the website were easy to follow and accurate. Can't say enough good things about this campground.

There was a train track very nearby and it was very loud all night. There was a hole on the grassy area behind our row of campers with an uncovered pipe and the smell was awful. The rest of the campground appeared clean and well kept.

We make it clear that we're a city park with city noises. We work VERY hard on keeping up our park. The pipe & hole you referred to is a storm drain with fresh water. It's been there always & we've never had a complaint. If we would've been told, we could have done something about it. Thank you

Who would think a campground in close proximity to an airport, train tracks and busy street could be considered quiet but it actually overall was. You could hear all of that but it wasn’t bad and being so close to New Orleans was the trade off. Super nice folks and we definitely enjoyed have the Mississippi levee trail across the street for biking.

Quiet, clean and secure. Restrooms/showers were clean and the entire staff were extremely helpful and courteous ! We will DEFINITELY be back !!

We had a great time. I would go back here anytime from December through March. I wished the fans worked better in the shower, but your in the south.... it's going to be muggy. Easy access to New Orleans, and there is a Costco not far from the site.

Campground was convenient to area attractions. Small campground that could use some renovations. Staff however were outstanding & very helpful.

As new owners, we've worked hard on our park. In the last 1 & 1/2 yrs, we've done a laundry, office/store, pump house, lodge & 8 sites remodel, added a coin & new ice machine & ATM, added a 2nd shuttle, replaced our whole fence, all new furniture, regraded parking & started replacing electric peds.

However, we are dealing with a mother on her death bed & part of our staff isn't there to maintain the way we normally would. Thank you for your patronage. We look forward to seeing you again

LIked everything about the location. We had the cheapest spots which were tight and no cement, however it would have been nice to at least had some rock down. It had rained and things were pretty muddy. I think if you filled in those three spots with a few hundred dollars of rock it would make clients much happier.

Nice place, friendly staff. Used all their recommendations where to go in the French Quarter for food. Shuttle was convenient from campground to French Quarter. Driver was very friendly and informative. We arrived late afternoon so we had to take an Uber back, which was easy. We were only there one night, so didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice.

There aren't many TV parks in urban areas so having this KOA in NOLA is convenient. Nice, helpful staff. Nice patio sites.

We are first time Rvers passing through during a military pcs and loved our stay. Everyone is so helpful and kind. They even guided us through parking the RV! The grounds are super tidy and well kept. Our kids loved the rec room and little playground. Showers did have some mold but they were secure with fantastic water pressure. Plenty of walking for the pups. We would absolutely stay again.

VERY clean campground. We loved the fact that the cabin was fully stocked and ready to go just like a hotel. Best thought process ever and as a family that cabin camps often it saved us a lot of space in the car. We really enjoyed the location of the cabin since we travel with our dog. It was nicely tucked away. Price was 100% comparable to a hotel or even cheaper.

We had a great time. Greg did a marvelous job getting us to and from downtown. Office staff was very helpful with our tickets and answering questions about the city.

Super friendly staff greeted us and met us at the sight. Although the park is located along a busy road and you might hear a horn from a tugboat on the river, it was very quiet. The hosts run daily shuttles to the city that will cost less than parking your own car.

Our site was close to the main road which was very noisy. Not too bad during the night. Small pool, but it was open. Didn't use the restrooms or laundry facilities so I can't comment on those. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We took advantage of their $15 round-trip shuttle to downtown New Orleans. Access to nice bike/walking trail only 2 blocks away.

The people were very helpful and friendly. We had some electrical issues and they helped us work through them. The campground was clean and our kids liked both the rec room and pool. Great access to the New Orleans tourist sites and a running trail across the street on the levee to boot!

This campground is wonderful! Close to all the New Orleans action! The staff is wonderful and the park is very clean!! The staff is literally cleaning, sweeping, raking, picking up trash from sun up to sun down. There is a security guard manic the entrance all night long which made us feel extremely safe.

The staff was very friendly and personable. The campground was clean and the campsites were reasonably roomier. They offer a shuttle to downtown New Orleans that I highly recommend taking advantage of. Definitely a positive experience.

This was my husband and my first time in New Orleans. We came for Mardi Gras and had a wonderful time. This campground and their amenities made it extra nice. We loved the available shuttle to downtown so we didn't have to park, etc. The campground is close to the levy bike path and we enjoyed riding on it several times. Mike's concierge service & all the staff were awesome, too! Loved our stay!!!

The New Orleans KOA Holiday is a bit of a gem in the rough. It's not a fancy RV resort, but has a variety of camping options. The best thing about this KOA is the service, friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and secure. They provide shuttle service options into town and have a well-stocked store. It's our go-to stop in the area.

We (3 large Class A motor homes) visited New Orleans, LA in May 2026. We stayed 2 days. The sites were level, we were placed next to each other and the staff were fantastic. We took the KOA shuttle to downtown in the morning and were picked up in the afternoon. Our driver, Dave offered historic background info on the city on the drive down and back. He drove by many of the old scenic homes in town. He helped two of our disabled seniors in/out of the van during every journey. He is amazing. Deborah (office) was so nice and helpful. They have a pool, daily trash pickup, a well manicured property and overnight security. We felt safe and cared for during our visit. We highly recommend this campground.
