Too expensive for that campground

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Hello. We are one of only 3 parks near the French Quarter & the least expensive of those 3. With it being Jazz Fest, rates are higher everywhere, as it's one of our major festivals of the year. Our reviews speak to the amenities & service we provide for the price. Thank you for your patronage.

4nights; stayed out until 1130 each night so didn’t use the park a lot. Stayed in delux cabin and no issues encountered. Recommend 5 out of 5

Very clean. Greg went out of his way to pick us up early when the hop on off bus broke down. Great stay!!!!

A bit far from New Orleans, great RV park

We had a fantastic stay at KOA New Orleans! From the friendly receptionist to the kind cleaning staff, everyone made us feel welcome. The amenities were spotless, and everything was conveniently located. You can tell the team takes great pride in their work. We truly enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to come back!

This is our 3rd time staying here. Staff is great and helpful. They back you into your site like a pro! They have everything you could need , from booking excursions and shuttle that drops you off downtown.

New Orleans KOA is always a great stay. The staff is always very helpful with everything. They will book your tours, very reasonable shuttle rides to and from the French Quarters, very knowledgeable about all the places and events happening around New Orleans and they escort every new arrival to there site! Love this KOA.

Excellent stay and quite possibly the best KOA we have stayed at. Everyone was nice and they offered so many things that made our trip so nice. From shuttles to the French quarter to an amazing dog walker Everything was very clean as well. Made our stay in New Orleans perfect

This is decent little KOA. All the sites are concrete & fairly level, however, all the sites are back-in. This KOA offers a variety of shuttles & tours to the French Quarter & sights! The staff is very nice & helpful!

Had a good time here. The staff here are nice and responsive.The shuttle to New Orleans was great. Laundry room was clean with lots of machines. We will be back.

Our stay was great, the campground was quiet and clean. All the persons we met from the staff were friendly (the woman and the man at the office, the man who drove the shuttle). We enjoyed our stay and we will recommend KOA New Orleans.

I had a wonderful time at your campground! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The shuttle service into the city was excellent and we especially enjoyed the driver’s knowledge of New Orleans. I will definitely be adding your campground to my favorites list! Your organization went far beyond expectations!

Very nice cement sites, plenty of tow vehicle parking with wide roads. The pool was small, but don't recollect there being more than 3 people in the pool at the same time together...Now, the staff. What an amazing bunch of people...helpful, polite and friendlyTour packages sold at the office and shuttle bus service provided for a small fee. After staying here, you know you stayed at a KOA HOLIDAY

Fairly easy in and out. The attendants were excellent. Sites were slopped towards the front of your unit but not that big of an issue. They also have a nice store on property.

Perfect spot to stay and visit New Orleans. If you are travelling with your bikes, you can leave the campground on bike and cycle the levee across the street and feast your eyes on the Mississippi. Clean campground and laundry room. Did not use other facilities so I can’t add anything. Would come back anytime.

Nice KOA. Our only complaint is that the wi-fi was unreliable.

This KOA is great, such friendly and knowledgeable staff, Mike, Ashley, Doreen, Greg and Dave were amazing. The site was great and directions from the website were easy to follow and accurate. Can't say enough good things about this campground.

There was a train track very nearby and it was very loud all night. There was a hole on the grassy area behind our row of campers with an uncovered pipe and the smell was awful. The rest of the campground appeared clean and well kept.

We make it clear that we're a city park with city noises. We work VERY hard on keeping up our park. The pipe & hole you referred to is a storm drain with fresh water. It's been there always & we've never had a complaint. If we would've been told, we could have done something about it. Thank you

Staffs are friendly & helpful. The road leading into park is wide & sign is visble. Road into RV spaces are wide & RV spaces are all backin. Not a huge RV park but very cozy without being feeling ham in. Each RV space is clean & wide for big rig & each row is well organized. Garbage pickup is daily until 6 pm. There's transportation into downtown for sightseeing but it starts at 9 am & returning at 6 pm. We had a front row space & right next to laundry. Laundry room is very clean & dust free. Have front loader washer & dryer, which is good if one has big load. There's lots of restaurants of different kinds of Cajun foods. Walmart is also nearby making shopping for necessities very convenient. Cafe du Monde is about 3 miles from here. Will definitely return. My only complaint is that all deliveries & mail are located right by the front door or office without security & on the floor.

My husband and I just had the best time here! It was a short, unplanned trip. The owners and staff were very accommodating, amazing hosts! They will go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need! Cabin was clean and welcoming, the campground is quiet and beautiful. They offer tours and shuttles to the French Quarter for guests, and have an on site dog walker! We had a great time and will definitely be back! 😁
