We had a great experience at this KOA. RV sites or well shaded. Not too far from the beach and other Myrtle Beach amenities.

This was our first time staying at a KOA campground. I would absolutely recommend to anyone! Incredibly family friendly with so many things to do for the children of all different ages. Staff are very friendly & the campground is kept very clean, even during a busy holiday such as the 4th of July when we stayed. We would definitely return to this campground!

Myrtle beach KOA was a blast to stay at! only thing I would say negative is about the bathhouse on the water and electric sites need upgraded but other than that highly recommend.

It’s filthy. The bathrooms and showers were absolutely disgusting. Pool was horrible. Place is in desperate need of an overhaul.

Restrooms and showers not clean. Campsite 285 extremely un-level. Amenities not sufficient for the size of the campground. Camp store closed at 4:00 p.m. daily. Overall conditions/standards did not meet expectations as compared to KOA’s we’ve previously visited.

I know with the storms & wind it’s common but the pool was dirty not just from trees & leaves but there was hair floating around. Rules stated on the gate no smoking inside the pool area I watched multiple employees smoke & vape in the pool area as well as others. The laundry room had roaches on top of the washing machines!

Showed up for the 4th of July weekend, while setting up must have stepped on a yellow jacket nest, called the office and they gave us some spray and we sprayed everything they gave us. Friends we were with, and their dog ended up getting stung the next day. We realize this is part of camping but the hive was in a pile of leaves left behind. Expect a lot of Ants, ended up in our RV from the site.

The campground was nice. The showers needed to be cleaned better and more often for the amount of people using them. Also the pools were extremely cloudy and dirty. I know there was a lot of people in them this Fourth of July weekend but they needed more attention.

Rained the last 2 days paid rain insurance without knowing it was a 3rd party there was a tropical storm and they refused my refund!

On arrival at 6pm there was four staff members talking with themself. I got out of my RV and ask for assistance on how to check in. The staff member then asked is this your first time here, I told her yes, she check me in and gave me a map of the site and told me to follow the map to my site. No help to site, No cable tv, No Wi-Fi worked, very very poor service.(Need training from VA Beach KOA )

The stay was great with a couple exceptions, this was our fourth time here. First time on a “full” weekend. They handled it well. We paid up for the “glam” RV site again as we did on our last trip. Everything worked well but they really need to rethink the cleaning policy for the $400/nt sites. Expectations are higher at that price and we had both Black Widows as well as a ton of cockroach

The staff was very nice and very helpful. The downside to this campground is the WiFi didn’t work at all. The power poles and water spouts need to be upgraded at each site. The roads were very narrow. I would stay there again if I was in a pinch and couldn’t get into our go to campground while at the beach. The bath houses were nice and clean. Overall stay was good.

It was a nice quiet place, clean, but we had to leave a day earlier because of the tropical storm 7/5/25 and we were under a tree that the branches were hitting our RV loudly. We saw the end of the Golf Parade, I had wish we were notified by office or flyer would have been nice to know in advance. Thanks.

Great location and enjoyable for the kids. Sites were okay. Pools were pretty dirty all 3 days we started and the bathrooms were old/dirty. Didn’t check the showers personally but my wife and daughter said the showers looked terrible. Staff were friendly with the kids activities. Surrounded by people smoking the whole trip unfortunately.

Excellent staff! My girlfriend and I rode the bike down and rented a tent site. We were on the motorcycl we had brought our tent and canopy and a few other things. The ladies came around to bring us ice. When they seen how hot we was. We are both in a 50s and I have been battling cancer for a while so the heat was a little more than I could take. So we were moved to a cooler place. Thanks

Great family friendly place to stay! Lots are level and easy to park. We stayed in lot #208 with a 42 foot, 5th wheel. They will deliver ice and wood to your camper. The pool was a little dirty but with that many people and a holiday weekend what can you expect. They have a ship the kids can ride in a d shoot people with water as well as a jumpy thing. So lots to do for the kiddos.

The trees and patio sites were wonderful. Everyth You would like for RV. But, there was no cable tv, management said to use internet for your smart tv. The internet signal was so weak I could not stay connected let alone watch tv. The pool area needs a complete renovation, did not even spend time there. It is about 4 or 5 blocks to the beach so you need to drive and pay about $8/hr to park.

Friendly and respectful,lots were nice a little pricey but knew that when I signed up. But for the price you would think things would be a little more under control, kids driving golf carts,adults with boomboxes on golf carts playing loud I guess you call it music even late at night. Never had this at other k.o.a hope it’s not a trend, I would hate to stop camping at these facilities.

This Campground is in a great location you can rent golf carts and take them out of the campground go to the beach or wherever people are nice here too.On May 13th 2023 my wife's purse fell off the golfcart someone found it and turned it in to the gate with all cash and credit cards still in it Thank you who ever you are that was a great thing to do.THANK YOU SO MUCH!!🙂

Plenty of room; cute cottages and amazing campsites, some with elaborate fireplaces. Expert at RV living. Nice pool, great location a few minutes from the beach (like 5 mins!). Looks so much better than it did when I was here 2 years ago! Maintenance is on it!! Has laundry facilities.

My sister and I booked a trip in one of the cabins and we LOVE it!!! We will be back ASAP!!! Management was wonderful! Anything we needed they provided! I highly recommend!! And it's very close to the beach!!
