The cabin that we stayed in had a bad odor and felt dirty. We stayed in the cabins that had a bathroom and a loft. The odor smelled like dog pee inside the cabin. My husband took a shower and then used a towel to get up some water on the bathroom floor. The towel was filthy. The cleaning crew are not mopping the floors!

Great campground with plenty of options for the tent camper, semi-rugged but needs a/c cabin "camper" like us, glamper cabins, and RV spots - some that looked like they had private patios with tvs/fireplace, and lake views! When we had an RV I would have loved those spots! Very spacious, tons of shade, clean and large bathroom facilities, fun options for both kids and adults, and close to Myrtle!

Had 2 cabins for the kids and grandkids, love the location of this KOA. Both cabins were not the cleanest when they checked in, but we took care of the rest. Small issues with the hot water in both and of course the ants. All kids and grandkids enjoyed the stay but for the price of these 2 cabins I wish they would do a better job on cleaning and service.KOA store needs to stock essentials,terrible

I was impressed with Gina at the front gate. She helped us when we got to our cabin and it was not stocked with shampoo or batteries for the remote. I was disappointed that the office wasn’t open later hours. We saw multiple cockroaches in the cabin, which the kids were very distressed about. I ask to redeem my points for $50.00 reward they show me a receipt for a credit to their system but i keep telling them that it has not come through to physically be put back on my card its been two weeks still no credit thats just a fact. So no 25,000 points in my account and still no $50 credit. I'm done arguing over it but I'm not happy about it. It never applied to the card period!!!!

We absolutely loved our time here! With the camp being so close to the beach it was a perfect location. The lady in the guard shack when we arrived was absolutely wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Our cabin was amazing and better than we anticipated! We will definitely be back in years to come!

The deluxe cabin..so pretty! We started with a regular cabin, and the cabin itself was fine. The bathrooms were not clean, and the shower was not draining well. I'm sure it was due to the amount of people staying there. Definitely could use some upgrades. So we upgraded, and didnt have to use them again. It was a wise choice.

Kamping Kabin was spotless, though it could use a little updating. The bathrooms were OK - noticed the paper towels were empty several times and the doors were not lined up correctly. Check in was a little confusing as we arrived after hours and it wasn't clear were to start. Overall we would return.

The grounds had trash around it. The staff would drive by and not pick up any litter. The grass wasn’t cut. The first two rows of campsites looked beautiful and the rest of the campground was not kept in good condition. The swimming pool was very dirty had broken down stroyfoam floating in it.

Deluxe Cabin 2 needs updating. For the price, was disappointed in the experience. An increase in roach activity from previous year and presence of a mouse that ate our food made the cabin a less appealing option for the future.

I’ve stayed at this KOA for near 30 years now. It’s been better. The streets need to be repaired. The pool area needs a lot of upkeep and the pool itself was very cloudy. And the bathrooms should NOT be dirty at 6:00 in the morning!!! Hair and dirt all in the bottom of the showers. Me and my family love coming here but come on now. Y’all need to do some housework!!! Clean clean clean!!!!

Beautiful campground. Poor staffing and management. Golf carts speeding so fast, driving against traffic, cutting off vehicles that it's a wonder anyone is safe. Staff says to report but it doesn't help. Most of the clientele looked as if they needed education above the 5th grade. Would not bring my grandchildren here b/c I fear for their safety of getting hit by a golf cart or careless person.

We stayed in the rustic cabin for 1 night... 2 adults 3 kids... we knew it didn't have a bathroom or kitchen.... which was fine... but we came into a DIRTY cabin... bugs everywhere... the beds were TERRIBLE... THEY NEED ACTUAL MATTRESSES!!!! The floors had not been swept and spiderweb all around the beds..the so-called AC... didn't even keep it partially cool.. we had to keep turning over sweating

I love staying at the Myrtle beach koa. Gina is always so fabulous. However, I would recommend maybe pressure washing the splash pad, there was slippery mold and was a little nervous my grandson might slip and fall . But love love koa.

We love the KOA everyone is very friendly! A lot of activities going on! Very peaceful atmosphere, very shady and cool inside the campground at Myrtle Beach! Definitely coming back!

Our cabin was clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Our A/C wasn't working properly but they went and fixed it right away. There is some maintenence that could be done on the roads inside the campground but we really like stay here!

Our family had a great time. Very relaxing and our cabin had everything we needed. The campground had great shade around the cabins. The kids had fun at the splash pad and pool. And we were so close to everything we wanted to visit in Myrtle Beach

The cabins need to be cleaned well enough, both inside and outside. All the doors need to be properly sealed to prevent any gaps for the Poisonous insects to enter through.

Checked in to a cabin that I did not reserve that looked like it hadn’t been rented ever, it was disgustingly dirty, broken chair, broken shades, moldy smell. Then moved to another cabin that was slightly better but also dirty and broken. Did not sleep in either one, rented a different hotel! Do not stay here!

Our stay was generally good. The value was very good, and people were incredibly friendly. However, the cabin was missing things that are promised. There were no plates or glassware in the cabin. There was no silverware, and the utensils that were there were dirty. The AC unit had black dust inside of it, which blows directly at the bed. There were also sand ants crawling all over the bathroom.

Nice cabin on the water. Ducks and wading birds every day. The neighbors even had a racoon visit their deck one evening. Friendly staff, shuttles to the beach. We enjoyed this far more than any hotel.

We rented 5 deluxe cabins for a large group trip. Overall they were ok. But there were some minor issues. One found dead bugs and animal hair in the loft area. One cabin was supposed to have 4 twin beds, but only had 3. Luckily the numbers were reversed on one of our other cabins and we were able to move one kid around. One Fridge barely worked. Mildew was on the matress cover of a sofa bed

I thought I had rented a 2 bedroom cabin and found out the only thing I got for the extra money was a mini fri and microwave. The microwave didn't work . The regular pool didn't work until Saturday afternoon, just not the normal experience that I was used to from KOA.

The best part about the stay was Mrs. G and her husband! From the moment we got there— they were so nice and friendly. Their welcoming made us feel like we were at home. We stay every year with about 20 or so other campers for CCMF. The cabins need repair. One window is sealed with duct tape and I don’t think the floor has been cleaned in years. The staff was and always is awesome!!. Not sure how our cabin (DC02) says it sleeps six. Love seat doesn’t open up to a bed. Mattresses could be updated. Friends with RVs enjoyed site - water issue and pool closure

Overall was great! Only complaints are about cleanliness of the deluxe cabins. When we got there the floors were covered in dirt. Sweeping is not enough, someone actually has to come clean. We had to go buy a swiffer mop, a whole box of pads later it still wasn’t completely clean. Also we were not stocked with proper cooking supplies either which made things difficult.

This Campground is in a great location you can rent golf carts and take them out of the campground go to the beach or wherever people are nice here too.On May 13th 2023 my wife's purse fell off the golfcart someone found it and turned it in to the gate with all cash and credit cards still in it Thank you who ever you are that was a great thing to do.THANK YOU SO MUCH!!🙂

Plenty of room; cute cottages and amazing campsites, some with elaborate fireplaces. Expert at RV living. Nice pool, great location a few minutes from the beach (like 5 mins!). Looks so much better than it did when I was here 2 years ago! Maintenance is on it!! Has laundry facilities.

My sister and I booked a trip in one of the cabins and we LOVE it!!! We will be back ASAP!!! Management was wonderful! Anything we needed they provided! I highly recommend!! And it's very close to the beach!!
