Campground is nice and shady in most areas, great location. KOA store needs to stock more items, not much there. Pool is great could use a cleaning thru out the day. Campground needs some up keep, roads need redone / grass up keep, not many workers there thru the week. Lot of ants but we were prepared. No entertainment on Holiday weekend?? Will stay here again.

Employees were friendly, helpful and polite. The recreation room needs renovation because it is sparsely equipped and dated. The location is excellent because it is centrally located to all the attractions. My grandchildren enjoyed the pool. I enjoyed watching the resident Great White Egret catching its breakfast each day. Overall, we had a good time. The price/value is average.

We had a great experience at this KOA. RV sites or well shaded. Not too far from the beach and other Myrtle Beach amenities.

My son and I absolutely loved our stay the camping cabin.I was VERY grateful to have been accomodated with being near the shower house. Swimming pool was clean and well kept. Aside from traffic noise (it's close to US17), it wasn't bad. Surroundings were remarkably quiet and peaceful. Ladies room was ALWAYS clean. Staff were knowledgeable, accessible, helpful, and friendly!

We had a great time at the KOA as always. Great and friendly staff that always takes very good care of us with anything that we need. We also enjoy all of the festivities that are provided for the guest my granddaughter loves the KOA she says the worm the which is the train ride always a blast thanks a lot for giving your campers a great experience..

This was our first time staying at a KOA campground. I would absolutely recommend to anyone! Incredibly family friendly with so many things to do for the children of all different ages. Staff are very friendly & the campground is kept very clean, even during a busy holiday such as the 4th of July when we stayed. We would definitely return to this campground!

Myrtle beach KOA was a blast to stay at! only thing I would say negative is about the bathhouse on the water and electric sites need upgraded but other than that highly recommend.

The cabin that we stayed in had a bad odor and felt dirty. We stayed in the cabins that had a bathroom and a loft. The odor smelled like dog pee inside the cabin. My husband took a shower and then used a towel to get up some water on the bathroom floor. The towel was filthy. The cleaning crew are not mopping the floors!

Great campground with plenty of options for the tent camper, semi-rugged but needs a/c cabin "camper" like us, glamper cabins, and RV spots - some that looked like they had private patios with tvs/fireplace, and lake views! When we had an RV I would have loved those spots! Very spacious, tons of shade, clean and large bathroom facilities, fun options for both kids and adults, and close to Myrtle!

Had 2 cabins for the kids and grandkids, love the location of this KOA. Both cabins were not the cleanest when they checked in, but we took care of the rest. Small issues with the hot water in both and of course the ants. All kids and grandkids enjoyed the stay but for the price of these 2 cabins I wish they would do a better job on cleaning and service.KOA store needs to stock essentials,terrible

I was impressed with Gina at the front gate. She helped us when we got to our cabin and it was not stocked with shampoo or batteries for the remote. I was disappointed that the office wasn’t open later hours. We saw multiple cockroaches in the cabin, which the kids were very distressed about. It’s filthy. The bathrooms and showers were absolutely disgusting. Pool was horrible. Place is in desperate need of an overhaul.

Restrooms and showers not clean. Campsite 285 extremely un-level. Amenities not sufficient for the size of the campground. Camp store closed at 4:00 p.m. daily. Overall conditions/standards did not meet expectations as compared to KOA’s we’ve previously visited.

I ask to redeem my points for $50.00 reward they show me a receipt for a credit to their system but i keep telling them that it has not come through to physically be put back on my card its been two weeks still no credit thats just a fact. So no 25,000 points in my account and still no $50 credit. I'm done arguing over it but I'm not happy about it. It never applied to the card period!!!!

I know with the storms & wind it’s common but the pool was dirty not just from trees & leaves but there was hair floating around. Rules stated on the gate no smoking inside the pool area I watched multiple employees smoke & vape in the pool area as well as others. The laundry room had roaches on top of the washing machines!

Showed up for the 4th of July weekend, while setting up must have stepped on a yellow jacket nest, called the office and they gave us some spray and we sprayed everything they gave us. Friends we were with, and their dog ended up getting stung the next day. We realize this is part of camping but the hive was in a pile of leaves left behind. Expect a lot of Ants, ended up in our RV from the site.

The campground was nice. The showers needed to be cleaned better and more often for the amount of people using them. Also the pools were extremely cloudy and dirty. I know there was a lot of people in them this Fourth of July weekend but they needed more attention.

On arrival at 6pm there was four staff members talking with themself. I got out of my RV and ask for assistance on how to check in. The staff member then asked is this your first time here, I told her yes, she check me in and gave me a map of the site and told me to follow the map to my site. No help to site, No cable tv, No Wi-Fi worked, very very poor service.(Need training from VA Beach KOA )

The stay was great with a couple exceptions, this was our fourth time here. First time on a “full” weekend. They handled it well. We paid up for the “glam” RV site again as we did on our last trip. Everything worked well but they really need to rethink the cleaning policy for the $400/nt sites. Expectations are higher at that price and we had both Black Widows as well as a ton of cockroach

This Campground is in a great location you can rent golf carts and take them out of the campground go to the beach or wherever people are nice here too.On May 13th 2023 my wife's purse fell off the golfcart someone found it and turned it in to the gate with all cash and credit cards still in it Thank you who ever you are that was a great thing to do.THANK YOU SO MUCH!!🙂

Plenty of room; cute cottages and amazing campsites, some with elaborate fireplaces. Expert at RV living. Nice pool, great location a few minutes from the beach (like 5 mins!). Looks so much better than it did when I was here 2 years ago! Maintenance is on it!! Has laundry facilities.

My sister and I booked a trip in one of the cabins and we LOVE it!!! We will be back ASAP!!! Management was wonderful! Anything we needed they provided! I highly recommend!! And it's very close to the beach!!
