The sites were very close together. The bathrooms were gross and not clean. The people running it were rude.

Not quite what I expected from a KOA! Owner a bit crass. Seasonal lots dirty! Bent basketball hoop. Hardly any kids activities compared.to other KOA's. Won't return.

We have never been to KOA before and online, the pictures made it seem great! Well when we got there, it wasnt good. Upon check in, the lady who was at the reception area told us right away that no outside boats were allowed in the park. We told her we were gonna take them on Lake Michigan. They made a big deal about our dog breed and then continued to harass us about smoking pot. We do NOT smoke!

Water stinks like rotten eggs, beach is full of sea weed, lake is very dirty, no wifi, $10 minimum for debit card use is ridiculous, can't use any of your own wood from a clean home amount, small bundles are $6..showers are small and dirty, no discount on 5th night after paying for 4 nights like other campgrounds in area, a lot of sand on site,average at best...to below average-only allowed 1 plug

I paid extra for a grass lot and it was all sand. The guy at the front desk was drunk beyond words, made lewd comments about my friends grandmother, almost ran us over in a golf cart, argued and almost attacked another camper and placed us right next to the only other tenters instead of a more private area. The lake was pretty but he and the shabby half working bathrooms ruined it.

Beautiful place to camp! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the highway noise. It was so odd to be surrounded by such nature in the hopes to hear the birds and bugs, but all you hear is the highway traffic. Very clean, well kept with lots to do!

Poorly maintained, only 1 working shower out of only 2, with heavy rust damage and dangerous. One of the main floating attractions is gone, beach poorly maintained. Will not be back :(

Staff and facilities were great!!!! We stayed two nights and spent two days at Michigan's adventure. I doubt we would stay more than that due to the noise from the highway.

They stay was from Thursday to Sunday. We were on site #70 next to the beach/lake. The spaces between camps are pretty tight, so hopefully the people next to you are cool. The site did not have sewer but it was close by. There is lots to do from bike rentals, boat rentals, or just a relaxing nature walk around the lake. The staff was friendly enough. They had a 9 year old offer to walk our dog.

The camp ground hasn’t changed in 20 years . The bathrooms are small & out dated , they keep the bathroom doors opened all day long allowing bugs in the stalls & showers . Most KOAs cabins include a small fridge & micro wave these do not Unless you rent the deluxe cabins . They don’t have themed weekends , no special events for kids . It only has one dumping station at the back of the campgro

This is a nice campground with lots of space and many large mature trees to provide awesome shade. Seems like a fun place for kids. My campsite could use some fill to make it more level.

Extra charge to hold our spot that was reserved 6 months prior is ridiculous. Facilities are not clean . Shower facility at main office is terrible.

Beautiful camp! Friendly staff! The ONLY complaint I have is the showers. The are very small and the gaps in the doors lack privacy when stepping out of the shower itself. The showere water was perfect with nice pressure. Maybe monitor late night "noisemakers" better. 2 of 3 nights, campers were loud until about 2am made relaxing sleep impossible.

The owner was very pleasant and we enjoyed talking with him about our travels in the state of Alabama. We definitely recommend this KOA.

Very poorly maintained facilities. The owner doesn't care about customer. He is very rude even to children. I would never go back and never recommend this place to anyone.

Compared to other sites this camp doesn’t have a lot of activities and bathrooms were very outdated, unclean too many out of order stalls, the worst part is the owner’s behavior, extremely rude and unprofessional, we were a group of friends who went but I made the reservation so when one of our friends arrived and wanted to call me before making the balance payment he yelled at them for talkin

Campground is very dated,showers/washrooms are border line unsafe. Dogs left in trailers barking. This could be a great campground again with some updates.

The campground was mostly empty and my wife suggested they could have easily upgraded us to a Lakeside spot as a kind gesture. Our spot had electric and water and was fine but was all dirt no grass. The diving raft was broken and the little Lake low on water and not that nice. The jumping pillow was fantastic. State parks are such a better value.

Many friends told me to stay away from this place but we needed a last minute site for the weekend. How bad could it be, right?? Well it was bad enough that we set up camp and left within 2 hours of being there. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Also- they advertise as being pet friendly, but have strict breed restrictions which they don't tell you about until you are there.

Besides the owner being drunk and rude. The men’s bathroom attached to the office only had one working shower. The bathroom was always stinking even after multiple cleanings. They walk around at night to tell everyone to be quiet. But don’t say anything to the people smoking weed and passing around drinks to young people. The kids working did a great job picking up garbage and delivering wood.

The place is wonderful! So many things for the kids to do.The only thing I was not pleased with was the person that owns it or management.Their was a gentleman that was rude. I was going to take a shower and another fellow was leaving saying the other shower didn’t work. So the owner,said use the other showers.I asked where are they.he responded in a rude manner, “look at your map!” Didn’t

Host/Owner is way over the top. Absolutely too controlling and extremely rude. Site was great however my stay was ruined by the tool running the place. Bathrooms and showers were disgusting and literally had holes in the dry wall. Not worth the money. So disappointing.

The water smelled and tasted questionable, like there was some kind of metal residue in it. The bathrooms weren’t really clean and definitely need a substantial makeover. The location surely is nice with the little lake. A male staff member, maybe the manager, made sexist remarks about a female party member, shared his uncalled for political views and the fact that he owns “a lot of weapons”

Clean and well taken care. Lots are good and the most part shady but sandy so be prepared to drag sand in. Will stay again next in area. Good central location for Visiting Muskegon and Silver Lake sand dunes.

We are extremely unhappy with our stay. We stay almost exclusively with KOA so we have plenty of experience with the various owners that we've been countered. This is the first time we've heard an owner yelling at his employees and cussing out a customer. We will absolutely never stay or recommend this KOA

The owner was very rude . He asked my friend repeatedly what letter she was (he apparently was asking about her generation) then proceeded to say oh you are a millineal I need to speak slower. He sold moldy wet wood . He patrols the campground and makes you feel uncomfortable. He persisted to tell our friend that he should know better about the speed even when our friend apologized and slowed down

Great time, great view, overall great campground. Would be a 10 if you had a pool. Loved the way it was maintained and people were very pleasant.

We have stayed at this campground many times, and it is one of our absolute favorites! We are very frequent KOA campers and often opt to stay at a KOA as much as we can. The fishing and views of the lake from the RV sites are absolutely beautiful, and it is my favorite to walk out to in the morning. Staff are VERY friendly and make sure your stay is the best! The campground is dog friendly as well as family friendly. I took note that the new owners are planning several fun events for this season, and we hope to be able to come back and attend some at future stays! All in all one of our favorites, we can't wait to stay again soon!

We had a fun memorial day weekend all the other campers and staff were super friendly. Bathrooms and shower area was very clean there were alot of weekend activities to participate in such as crafts and the community potluck the store there was stocked with everything you would need and it was budget friendly it was our first time camping here and we can't wait to come back next year.
