We loved out deluxe cabind the only down fall was the shower had very rusty water so now my blond hair has an rusty color to it and I have to go pay the salon to fix it but othere then that we loved our stay just need good filters put on the showers in the deluxe cabin 1

Stayed in a deluxe cabin. The refrigerator smelled as if something has died in it and the toilet seat had a broken attachment screw. The lake does not look appealing for swimming.

We always enjoy out stay here, it always makes it easier for our special needs child to get to experience camping safely. Plus when we have nice storms like we did a great view to watch.

Amy checked us in, She is super nice and very Hospitable. We asked to a place to eat she recommended Leftys. What a great recommendation their food was delicious. We wanted to go to Lake Michigan Amy said to try Duck Lake. So glad we did! The cabin we stayed in was clean and ready for our arrival. Nice trail to walk, We didn't swim maybe if there was a pool we would've. Overall a great stay!

The campsite was nice, the beach was clean, playground was nice for the kids. Sean was very helpful and friendly who made our stay even better. The only drawback was the owner Steve constantly changing the rules for electric bikes and seemed inhospitable and cheap, our visitors were told they were unwelcome and we couldn’t even get a few garbage bags for our cabins. We have been coming for years now my whole family we rent out about 6 cabins or more at times and the owner has gotten very rude and disrespectful to the group we come to have a good time and not be treated the way he treats ppl

Rented a 2 bedroom cabin for the night. The cabin itself was clean but upkeep needs some work. Not to far from the restroom but restrooms were HOT and showers were small and needed updates and shower heads would be nice. Water in front of cabins is murky and not swimmable! Front desk worker was rude. Would definitely find a different place to stay next time and would not recommend to anyone!

Everything was great! Definitely would come back and recommend to friends/family! The kids had a great time playing on the playground and in the lake. Everything was clean and felt very safe. The staff was friendly and helpful!

We had an excellent experience! Our kids love the jumping pillow and zip line. The only complaint I have is our mini fridge inside our cabin did not work but we made do.

My husband and I rented a cabin there for the night and it was perfect. The lake was beautiful and the cabin was clean. The staff is also incredibly friendly. We will for sure be back.

We stayed in one of the cabins & my one big complaint is that the fire bit was eroded & as the fire burned clumps of hot ash came out the side, very dangerous when you have little ones running around. Other than that we had a pleasurable experience & the Staff was friendly/helpful.

This was our first trip to Muskegon KOA and we couldn't of been happier. The staff was great and the amenities were clean. Paddling around on the paddle boats and taking a walk around the lake was enjoyed by us all.

The staff was friendly and the campground itself has a gorgeous setting on the lake with a nice walking path all the way around. The lake is swim at your own risk and we decided against it as the water looked questionable, but we didn’t come to swim anyway. Loved the closeness to Michigan’s Adventure. My only real complaint is the restrooms/shower houses are outdated and weren’t very clean.

The older gentleman that runs the place is a complete Jerk. He has no business running anything that deals with people. He has terrible people skills and treats his customers like trash. He even drinks out of pops and places them back into the cooler. I was unsure until the following day I was standing in front of the cooler and he asked me to hand him his pop out of the cooler. Terribly Rude Guy

This was our 4th year at the Muskegon KOA. Our kids and grandkids love the various activities. They stay in Deluxe cabins, which are nice and CLEAN. Workers are continuously circulating and clean the grounds. Plus there are lots of things to do in the area.

Wasn’t to bad! Something different for the kids! Just wish they had the cabins with bathrooms you can have kids in! When you have 4 little ones it’s hard to run to the shower house every 5 minutes!

The hosts were extremely kind and the kids had a wonderful weekend playing on the water! Onpy downsides were the mosquitoes and the bathroom facilities are due for an update but they were clean and sufficient.

1st night no hot water in our deluxe cabin no 24 hr maintenance to contact for repair until 2nd day. Cabins were excellent need more water pressure. Steve told me he would refund 1st day due to no hot water issue I have not received the refund yet.

Opening weekend for the season. No signs on bathrooms to distinguish men and women. Had men walking in to restroom that women are showering in. No soap. Vandalized property that wasn’t fixed-broken windows, etc.

We arrived and the campground didnt seem "ready". What I mean is that the staff seemed to be scrambling to setup the sites/cabins and even restrooms. The first night the bathrooms didnt have men/women signs on them so it was a bit confusing which was which. Our cabin swing was not hung up, and some of the other activities were not ready for use either. Staff did a good job setting things up if req

Owner was unwelcoming, we felt like he watched us all the time. The lake was unusable. There was an additional cost for everything. We will not be returning. I my opinion the owner is not worthy of carrying the KOA name.

We stayed in an economy cabin, it was clean and suited our one night stay. Walking path around the pond was very nice. People were very nice in the office and camping there. I would stay again.

Kabins where very nice but not private from other campsites . You can’t have a campfire alone it’s so close to the other campfires . The lake is nasty you can’t swim in it. Needs some up keeping. Bathroom/showers needs some cleaning. I have been to other koa and this one is not my favorite. Will not return.

We go to Muskegon KOA almost every year and this was the worst year with respect to cleanliness of bathrooms. Sinks did not appear wiped all weekend, shower curtains very dirty, the same pieces of torn papers left by someone on shower floor mats were never picked up during the whole weekend. Our suggestion is that instead of having a person at the entrance way, have that person clean bathrooms.

The bathrooms were very dirty. For 3 nights stay nobody cleaned toilets or showers. For 10 years of camping I didn't see anything like this.

We had a great time! The campground was clean, our cabin was clean, managment was helpful and friendly, and the extra activities for the kids were much appreciated!! We will definitely be back next year!

We loved the deluxe cabins, the campground, the playground and bounce mat. The staff were nice and we felt safe. We rented bikes and walked the trails. All this gets 5 stars. What we didnt like so much was the lake for swimming. Lots of goose poop and not much area in water for swimming. It could use some cleanup.

My Cabin was dirty and my curtain was ripped and they get an offer everything they had in the brochure for the kids like the The blowup floaty waterslide type thingy and the hayride on Saturday night

Bathrooms could have been cleaned a lot better cobwebs everywhere. Online stated that they had a inflatable floating for kids to play on however was not there. Had cabin on the Lakeview, lake was very dirty could have been cleaned out. Other than that stay was great.

the bath room doors were consistently left open all day long leaving them filled with bugs on a daily basis. We had to fight bugs out of the showers before we could even shower. The cleaning was not being done very well, garbage was taken out & floors mopped but that' it. Paper towel was consistently out, sinks dirty 2 of showers are in front of the open doors making it very uncomfortable.

Great staff. They were very helpful and plwasant to interact with. The campground is small, and intimate, which was nice compared tonothers we have stayed at. The lake was enjoyable, our boys loved watching the fish swim around.

We have stayed at this campground many times, and it is one of our absolute favorites! We are very frequent KOA campers and often opt to stay at a KOA as much as we can. The fishing and views of the lake from the RV sites are absolutely beautiful, and it is my favorite to walk out to in the morning. Staff are VERY friendly and make sure your stay is the best! The campground is dog friendly as well as family friendly. I took note that the new owners are planning several fun events for this season, and we hope to be able to come back and attend some at future stays! All in all one of our favorites, we can't wait to stay again soon!

We had a fun memorial day weekend all the other campers and staff were super friendly. Bathrooms and shower area was very clean there were alot of weekend activities to participate in such as crafts and the community potluck the store there was stocked with everything you would need and it was budget friendly it was our first time camping here and we can't wait to come back next year.
