For our first KOA experience, it was great! Overall, it was great and I would recommend to friends. The showerhouse could have been vented a little better, but was clean. I also would have preferred the grass be mowed a little shorter around the cabin and playground.

Is only half of our grill worked ile we were there and the maintenance man came by and told us to talk to the staff when we checked out to get some sort of credit. When I went to check out and told the staff that I would like some kind of credit they looked at me like I was crazy. We stayed in the deluxe cabins and they were very very nice and the air conditioner was ice cold which was a big plus.

The cabin was clean and wonderful. The owner however stood watch all day at the gate and harassed the kids when riding bikes and also yelled at us as we pulled in for going over the 5 mph limit. Which we were not. It's a good campground but we'll be staying away due to the harassing owner.

There were two male staff members there that were extremely disrespectful and rude. Our group consisted of two mid-twenty year old professional females and felt like they were literally out to get us from the start. We felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable. We will not be returning.

Cons- The stay felt unwelcoming by owner, bathrooms were severely outdated. Pros- Staff were friendly, price is fair.

The clip art map online is very misleading. The lake view cabins seem to have a nice sandy beach down to the water for kids to play and that it not what it is at all. There is zero shade at the lake side cabins, making it unpleasant to be outside for most of the day. Our friends had a 32 foot RV that definitely could’ve fit near the cabins but instead were on the opposite side of camp.

Bathrooms did not appear to be cleaned the entire weekend we were there. This evident by dirt on the sink and floor in the same spots the entire weekend. The cabin we stayed felt very dirty to us too. For the price we paid I was not satisfied, and wish we would have stayed in our own dirt in a tent.

The inside of the cabin was fairly clean and up-to-date. Outside there was gypsy moth frass (poop) covering the patio. You couldn't eat outside the first night because it was constantly falling from the trees. Told the office, one worker said sorry and the other laughed and said "I didn't clean that one." Also, wifi just doesn't reach the deluxe cabins, period. Also told "sorry ". Not as advertise

The. Camp needs updated badly. The bathrooms had toilet flooding on the floor and left throughout the day. Showers were very dirty compared to other Koa’s we have stayed at. The staff is constantly driving around coming to your campsite. If they only put that same energy into cleaning the bathroom and shower facilities.

Stayed July 1, 2nd, and 3rd campground was clean. Staff was friendly. Only thjng i didnt really like was the lack of amenities most KOAs nowadays even the basic cabins have a microwave and minifridge this location does not. Biggest issue was Quiet time is NOT enforced people partying and being loud all night im talking to 2am and past... and its posted no fireworks well that also was not enforce

The management was very rude and petty. They made comments about how fast we were driving in the campground even though we were going the posted speed limit. However they fly past us on their golf cart. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t shower there regardless of how long I was staying. I’d rather bath in the lake. Beautiful place, need to renovate bathrooms, replace fire pits at cabins, replace holey & torn curtains in cabins. Otherwise very nice.

I have stayed here for the past 3 years for the 4th of July long weekend. Every year I say it's my last. This time I absolutely mean it. Two years in a row power went out in half of my "deluxe" cabin. Last year we lost half power, and lost running water the following day. We travel each year with a crew of 15 to 25 people and we will seek a new location going forward.

Campground was quiet, the safe were kind during Checkin and check out. We rented a rustic cabin on the lake for 1 night. It met our needs was clean had ac, or electric heater if needed. The bathrooms need updated, thankfully we were only staying the night because not sure I would shower in the showers. The toilets seemed to be clean the night we arrived so that's a plus!

Small quaint campground. We stayed in the deluxe cabin which was very clean. The camp store had pretty much anything you could have forgotten at home and very reasonably priced. This is our second time staying at this KOA and we will definitely be staying again.

Beautiful stay! Clean area, friendly staff, everyone minded their own and left us alone. My kind of seclusion and respect. Will definitely be back for our next mini vacation! Gas grill wouldn’t light but nothing we couldn’t fix with a little scrubbing and a lighter to light it. Cabin was clean, air conditioner was on point, showers were hot. We are happy!

The gentleman at the counter was very helpful and informative. General store had many items. Our cabin was nice and clean. The only knock I have is that bathrooms could use a complete overhaul.

owner is not keeping up on repairs. someone from koa needs to visit him and do an inspection of his facilities and tell him what he should be fixing to keep his koa franchise. shower was out of order. toilets did not flush properly. outside electrical at kabin 2 and 3 did not work, despite flipping breakers on and off. decks on kabins need power washing.

Steve saved our trip!! We were supposed to stay at Allendale KOA but they denied us because we were under 21…even though we were allowed to book a cabin online without being 21. Steve was so kind to let us stay at Muskegon KOA and was so accommodating to us! We had an awesome time.

We tend to come every year. And loved coming here. But this yr felt and was different. Owner and lady at the counter were quite rude and we just didnt feel comfortable as before. Will most likely not come back although the place is beautiful!

It was quiet, the cabin was clean was what I was looking for. The Saturday racing was a little loud but I live by a highway so I am used to noise.

We had a wonderful time, there were some issues with the back bathroom that was by our cabin but they came and fixed it quickly. It just didn’t always stay fixed. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful!!

The cabins and amenities are amazing but the guy who runs this one is awful. We had a huge party of people staying for my son’s birthday so we had multiple cabins and tent sites. He was rude to every single person during check-in. We won’t be staying again.

We had a small rustic cabin on the private lake and the kids really enjoyed fishing right from our site. Cabin had broken window but was air conditioned. Main concern was the plumbing, working toilets and showers were limited.

Had a great weekend! When we first arrived, Sean was attentive and nice. They had great activities for Labor Day weekend! Our kids had a blast. This was our second time here and we will be back!

Cabin was OK, door was kinda clunky coming in and out. Bathrooms could use some updating, but were kept fairly clean. Kids enjoyed the stay, playing on bounce pillow and swimming. Had one lady in the office that was very nice, guy was a little weird(awkward).

Love this Campground so much. It is so quiet and clean here. All of the employees are super friendly. There is a beautiful dog park, great playground and a beautiful lake. It's a must go to for a super relaxing vacation.

This place is so perfect. Quaint, kind, and ran by people who are genuine. They do whatever they can to accommodate you without hesitation! Clean, tons of catch and release fishing and just the best time! Thanks KOA for this space in Muskegon! You were great!
