I would prefer if dogs aren’t allowed in a deluxe cabin. I rented one after someone who had three dogs inside. They tore up the blinds, there was dog hair in the corners after they cleaned, dog hair woven into some of the wash clothes and in kitchen drawers. To pay that much money for a cabin and have it smell like dogs, was a bummer.

The new owners are AMAZING! We swore we wouldn’t come back after last year because the old owner was so bad but I am so glad we did. So many updates and the experience is 10/10!

We had the best family trip this last week at the Muskegon KOA! We have been there previously before the new management came in and there was such a difference! The sites were all great, the restrooms were clean, and trails were kept up nicely and easily accessible by foot or bikes. We appreciated the courteous staff.

Overall, our stay in the cabin was good. We have stayed at many KOA cabins and every one but this one had at least a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator in it. This one had none of those, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the bathhouse left a lot to be desired. It needs to be cleaned more often and truly needs an overhaul.

The cabin was clean, however, at other KOA cabins we’ve stayed at (basic, not deluxe) there was a small coffee maker included. This would’ve been an amazing addition! Also, the bathrooms/showers were dirty with no bench to put anything down etc that we just washed up other ways. So the bathroom situation needs updating. Also, maybe add more outdoor lighting for nighttime walks to feel more sec

It was a quick trip planned the day prior just to get away for a night and have a good time. Never been at a KOA and fir our 1st experience it was Great. The staff and family's were amazing. So polite and helpful. We will recommended this KOA. We will also be back. Thank you such a good welcome and making us feel good about our stay.

First time staying in a cabin with family of 5 and it was great! Would love if the fire pit was a little more private from the neighboring cabin, but still had a great time! Showers and bathrooms could use some TLC and updates but everything was clean. The whole family loved the beach area, kayaks, and pedal boat!! All the KAO staff were so friendly and helpful! Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

We stayed in the deluxe cabins. Everything was so cozy. And they supplied the linens, even had little bottles of shampoo and conditioner, dishes, propane for the grills. Nice trail to walk on and all the grandkids loved the giant pillow to jump on. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Stayed in a rustic cabin, it was very clean, quiet. The boathouse was clean, water was hot. Great place to stay!

The place was perfect for us and close to everything we wanted to do on our trip. The camp was quiet and clean and our cabin was in a perfect location private and peaceful with woods all around. The lake was also gorgeous.

Very nice Deluxe Cabin. Clean, comfortable beds. Fire pit was great. Wood prices were not too high. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Crafts for the children to do on Saturday, was lots of fun. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The employees there were fantastic they were so friendly and treated you like family. The scenery was beautiful, and the cabins were nice we got one right on the lake and man words can’t describe it. We will definitely be back in a few weeks.

Enjoyed my stay like every year... We are aware there are new owners and they were very friendly... Store does look cleaner however they do need more products in store and maybe stay open later for convencience. Went for Memorial Day Weekend and were expecting fireworks like last years! Otherwise, enjoyed our stay and looking forward to come back next year!! ������

We only stopped in for a night, stayed in a rustic one bedroom. They had linens we rented since we forgot our own. We arrived in the middle of what looked like super fun activities, including a face painter! Sheila and her staff made us feel right at home! Everyone was so helpful. I will definitely be back! New owners and management are doing such an amazing job! Keep it up guys!

Loved our stay at the Muskegon KOA! Clean, updated cabins with convenient amenities; loved the walking trail around the lake; staff was friendly and incredibly helpful; well-stocked store with reasonable prices; lots of family-oriented activities including fishing on the lake; enjoyed the private fire pits & patio with grill as well as the community deck. We're already planning our next trip! :)

The new management is so nice and friendly. Sheila and Nathan are the best! I reserved a deluxe cabin for Mother’s Day weekend. It was very comfortable. The lake is very beautiful, it is pet and kid friendly with a bark park and a park for the kids to play in. They also have paddle boats available.

We have stayed at this campground many times, and it is one of our absolute favorites! We are very frequent KOA campers and often opt to stay at a KOA as much as we can. The fishing and views of the lake from the RV sites are absolutely beautiful, and it is my favorite to walk out to in the morning. Staff are VERY friendly and make sure your stay is the best! The campground is dog friendly as well as family friendly. I took note that the new owners are planning several fun events for this season, and we hope to be able to come back and attend some at future stays! All in all one of our favorites, we can't wait to stay again soon!

We had a fun memorial day weekend all the other campers and staff were super friendly. Bathrooms and shower area was very clean there were alot of weekend activities to participate in such as crafts and the community potluck the store there was stocked with everything you would need and it was budget friendly it was our first time camping here and we can't wait to come back next year.
