Awesome Campground! I was impressed with how many campsites there are on the water, the cleanliness, and the general store. The camp general store had just about everything needed, including: rv supplies, fishing gear, clothing, blankets, medicine, wood/kindling. We enjoyed the playground, fishing, and biking around the lake. They also had a hayride for the kids around the lake!

Sites were very muddy/sandy. Water was yellowish color and tasted bad. Thankful for our filtered water.

All good except I forgot to drain one of my gray water tanks and a local koa charged me $15.00 to empty 1 gray tank.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Very clean and fun for our grandkids and dogs. Only issue was highway noise.

Bathroom light went off prematurely while taking a shower. complete darkness. Mold & mildew everywhere in bathroom/showers The sink vanity has no toekick, preventing one from stepping up close to the cabinet, causing one to have to lean much farther over to look in the mirror when shaving, this presents a huge problem for elderly people and those with a bad back. I won't be back!

They were able to fit us in last minute. The sites are large and the campground beautiful! Very quiet and peaceful. The kids enjoyed the playground and splashing around the more shallow parts of the pond.

Liked the walking path around the lake. Only bad thing was that we drove to the shower at 11:00 at night, parked near the bathroom to have the owner yell at me when I got out, that it was a no parking area and I needed to park my truck across the road where day users park. He was very insistent and not nice. There was no sign about parking and there wasn't anyone out and about at that time.

I’m sure they do their best but campgrounds could have been little more cleaned up. The site across from us was messy and not fun to look at. There were 2 sites that were very messy and trashy. Entertainment was good. Upon arrival we’re asked if we needed cannabis. That’s dangerous with so many individuals having addiction issues. Not a friendly staff. Safety was a concern as well.

Swings not a good height for a 10 year old. One of the swings was lopsided. Our site had cigarette butts on the ground. One camper was working on his generator and it kept backfiring with a loud pop like a gunshot. It scared me and my son and other campers! The staff let it go on until almost quiet hours. We could not enjoy our time outdoors because of this. Game room was nonexistent.

The park is very clean. We stayed in a tent site right on the lake and we enjoyed taking walks around the lake. The bathrooms are old and need some updating, but the staff did a good job keeping them clean. The biggest complaint I have, and the only reason I will never go back to this park, is due to the highway noise. Noise from traffic can be heard all day and night.

Dump station unable to clean out black water holding tank. Owner aware, but neglected the problem (a $10.00/ 10 minute fix). Two showers, one not working, leaving us with one shower for camp( owner not working on repair). Could go on, but why bother… won’t be back.

The campground was well kept and convenient to the highway. Sites were spacious and clean. Lake was lovely to watch the morning sunrise. The only downside was the highway noise, which the KOA can do nothing about. I gave 4 stars based off their $10 min credit card purchase. I felt this was unfair considering we paid for 3 nights (holiday) & purchased 5 bundles of wood earlier.

The availability of amenities was very nice with different types of sites and cabins and the different activities to do, but the main bathrooms really need a remodel, and some of the fire pits need replaced cause they are old and down right dangerous. The trail around the lake was nice.

The campground was quiet, clean and family friendly. I think it would be nice to add a baby swing to the playground so that younger children have something they can do as well, but I enjoyed our stay.

The lake was gross, too much seaweed and the sand wasnt very clean. I wish the water would've been nicer so the kids and all adults could swim. The water in the bathroom smells horrible as well, like the lake water was being used in there. They kept the bathrooms tidy overall. The visit was relaxing overall though.

Not quite what I expected from a KOA! Owner a bit crass. Seasonal lots dirty! Bent basketball hoop. Hardly any kids activities compared.to other KOA's. Won't return.

We have never been to KOA before and online, the pictures made it seem great! Well when we got there, it wasnt good. Upon check in, the lady who was at the reception area told us right away that no outside boats were allowed in the park. We told her we were gonna take them on Lake Michigan. They made a big deal about our dog breed and then continued to harass us about smoking pot. We do NOT smoke!

Found an amazing secluded tent site! We will definitely be planning our next camping trip here! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The bathrooms were clean and I witnessed the cleaning crew daily. Theres a cool trail going all around the lake with multiple docks for fishing or just watching the wildlife. Our son,9, had a blast!

Water stinks like rotten eggs, beach is full of sea weed, lake is very dirty, no wifi, $10 minimum for debit card use is ridiculous, can't use any of your own wood from a clean home amount, small bundles are $6..showers are small and dirty, no discount on 5th night after paying for 4 nights like other campgrounds in area, a lot of sand on site,average at best...to below average-only allowed 1 plug

I paid extra for a grass lot and it was all sand. The guy at the front desk was drunk beyond words, made lewd comments about my friends grandmother, almost ran us over in a golf cart, argued and almost attacked another camper and placed us right next to the only other tenters instead of a more private area. The lake was pretty but he and the shabby half working bathrooms ruined it.

Beautiful place to camp! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the highway noise. It was so odd to be surrounded by such nature in the hopes to hear the birds and bugs, but all you hear is the highway traffic. Very clean, well kept with lots to do!

We have stayed at this campground many times, and it is one of our absolute favorites! We are very frequent KOA campers and often opt to stay at a KOA as much as we can. The fishing and views of the lake from the RV sites are absolutely beautiful, and it is my favorite to walk out to in the morning. Staff are VERY friendly and make sure your stay is the best! The campground is dog friendly as well as family friendly. I took note that the new owners are planning several fun events for this season, and we hope to be able to come back and attend some at future stays! All in all one of our favorites, we can't wait to stay again soon!

We had a fun memorial day weekend all the other campers and staff were super friendly. Bathrooms and shower area was very clean there were alot of weekend activities to participate in such as crafts and the community potluck the store there was stocked with everything you would need and it was budget friendly it was our first time camping here and we can't wait to come back next year.
