We only stopped in for a night, stayed in a rustic one bedroom. They had linens we rented since we forgot our own. We arrived in the middle of what looked like super fun activities, including a face painter! Sheila and her staff made us feel right at home! Everyone was so helpful. I will definitely be back! New owners and management are doing such an amazing job! Keep it up guys!

Recently acquired by new owners who are clearly investing in improvements. The staff is courteous and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. The lake is picturesque, and the grounds are clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the true KOA experience!

Loved our stay at the Muskegon KOA! Clean, updated cabins with convenient amenities; loved the walking trail around the lake; staff was friendly and incredibly helpful; well-stocked store with reasonable prices; lots of family-oriented activities including fishing on the lake; enjoyed the private fire pits & patio with grill as well as the community deck. We're already planning our next trip! :)

I felt very welcomed from the minute I arrived. The community fire was a nice addition. Everyone was there for any help that I needed.

The new management is so nice and friendly. Sheila and Nathan are the best! I reserved a deluxe cabin for Mother’s Day weekend. It was very comfortable. The lake is very beautiful, it is pet and kid friendly with a bark park and a park for the kids to play in. They also have paddle boats available.

This has been my Happy place for years. New owners this year and as always a wonderful stay. So far they've done a great job running the campground. Very nice, helpful team. Keep up the Good work!!

It was a very enjoyable stay and the staff was very helpful. The campground was very clean and the store had everything you needed. The only disappointment was that there was no coffee maker or a tv.in the cabin . But we made due to what they had to offer.

This was our first time staying at the Muskegon KOA and we were very impressed. We loved everything about it.

Expensive for the quality of facilities. Bathroom on the north side of the property is disgusting with mold on the ceilings and all corners. Sinks are falling through the counter top and urinals wouldn’t flush. We stayed on a holiday weekend and most sites had shin high weeds growing. However, staff were very friendly and were not hard to find if someone needed assistance.

The camp itself was beautiful especially the sites on the lake. We had a wonderful stay and staff was great, the only reason I did a 4 was because compared of a few other KOAs there was a lack of kid planned activities, and no train rides, sometimes my family picks KOAs for that amenity but other than that we loved the location, the grounds, and how close it was to Michigan adventure and MI lakes.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Muskegon KOA. The campground was so peaceful. The only thing I wish I did not encounter was so many dogs off leads. My dog and I were charged by another dog while we were on our lot and my dog was on a leash. Please remind your campers about the dog/lead rule.

Our first trip of the summer in our new RV. The folks were friendly and helpful. The campground was well kept. Hookups were convenient. All in all a very nice stay.

Our family loves taking Koa vacations all over the US. The Muskegon KOA is by far the most peaceful KOA we have been too. Extremely relaxing. We will definitely be back!

The campground just opened for the season. We found everything just as it should be. All utilities worked well on the RV site. Sites are level and well kept. Staff was polite and helpful. Our son stayed in a cabin that was very clean and well-kept. Bathrooms were very clean.

We had a great time. It was the last weekend of the season. We will recommend the Muskegon KOA to everyone. The staff could not have been nicer, and very accommodating. We are looking forward to comings beck next year

-The dirt road leading to the KOA was BARELY passable, so full of pot holes and wash-boarded out. It doesn't matter if this is a county road or whatever, this should have been graded. Pay the county extra to do it when it's needed. -Park is worn out and needs to be upgraded. -When snow knocked power went out at 1:30 PM , there was NO ONE in the office to let us know when it may be restored

This KOA was awesome, friendly, clean and most of all best hospitality. Our friends motorhome broke down and they did everything in there power to help and went up and beyond to take care of them. We now will be members of the KOA family. Thank you again and see you next year!

for a smaller, less expensive KOA this one is really nice. we stayed a week, and during tha ttime the staff was great, nice, and responsive. The facilities were clean even though you could tell things were slowing down for the winter season. laundry worked, but the wifi could really use an upgrade, 5g home internet, starlink, anything is better than what you have now (and probably cheaper)

Everyone was very nice and helpful! It was Halloween weekend and even though I didn’t participate in the hayride or trick or treating, it was fun to watch and see everyone having tons of fun! They definitely went all out to celebrate and you can tell the staff enjoyed it too!

We stayed right at the end of their season, the weather was not the best, rainy and windy but the color on the trees was awesome ! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the store still had good stock.

Awesome staff, Mary, Brandon, Nicole. Always helpful! Our stay was incredibly fun and relaxing. Trail for dogs and walking was nice. The pond was a great backdrop with the fall colors and the 3 dogs loved the swim. My only complaint was the traffic noise, which was tolerable. Maybe someday a noise barrier can be installed. Anyway, great stay!

We have stayed at this campground many times, and it is one of our absolute favorites! We are very frequent KOA campers and often opt to stay at a KOA as much as we can. The fishing and views of the lake from the RV sites are absolutely beautiful, and it is my favorite to walk out to in the morning. Staff are VERY friendly and make sure your stay is the best! The campground is dog friendly as well as family friendly. I took note that the new owners are planning several fun events for this season, and we hope to be able to come back and attend some at future stays! All in all one of our favorites, we can't wait to stay again soon!

We had a fun memorial day weekend all the other campers and staff were super friendly. Bathrooms and shower area was very clean there were alot of weekend activities to participate in such as crafts and the community potluck the store there was stocked with everything you would need and it was budget friendly it was our first time camping here and we can't wait to come back next year.
