Please consider adding more full hookup sites and clearly stating on your website that the dump station use incurs an extra fee, as it’s not included in the camping cost. It was frustrating not being able to book a full hookup site near our friends and then being unexpectedly charged for the dump station. The charge would be more understandable if we hadn’t already paid to camp.

Pretty good stay overall, fire pits were super close to your neighbors sewer, other than that no issues.

The new owners are AMAZING! We swore we wouldn’t come back after last year because the old owner was so bad but I am so glad we did. So many updates and the experience is 10/10!

We would have given 5 stars and would highly recommend it, if it wasn't for the dirty showers and bathrooms. It was our first time and was really looking forward to camping at this location. Hopefully they can make the bathrooms cleaner so we could try going back.

The stay was great and lake front lot was awesome view. Only thing was we found one building with 4 toilets and 2 shower stalls each for women and the same for men. The bathrooms could have been maintained better and cleaned by the next morning. Other than that great place to camp, swim and kids games; close to Michigan Adventures.

We had the best family trip this last week at the Muskegon KOA! We have been there previously before the new management came in and there was such a difference! The sites were all great, the restrooms were clean, and trails were kept up nicely and easily accessible by foot or bikes. We appreciated the courteous staff.

The campgrounds are beautiful. I cannot recommend it to family and friends though. Heavy marijuana use throughout the park. Young children all over the place without adult supervision, including swimming in the lake, without lifejackets. Cabins rented to teenagers, who proceeded to party until 3am, until a camper had to tell them to go to bed. Men's bathroom filthy at end of day.

Overall, our stay in the cabin was good. We have stayed at many KOA cabins and every one but this one had at least a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator in it. This one had none of those, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the bathhouse left a lot to be desired. It needs to be cleaned more often and truly needs an overhaul.

The new management was great, they had ao many fun activities for the kids. They cleaned up the place, and made it much nicer. And all of the staff was amazing.

The cabin was clean, however, at other KOA cabins we’ve stayed at (basic, not deluxe) there was a small coffee maker included. This would’ve been an amazing addition! Also, the bathrooms/showers were dirty with no bench to put anything down etc that we just washed up other ways. So the bathroom situation needs updating. Also, maybe add more outdoor lighting for nighttime walks to feel more sec

Me and my family have been camping at the KOA Muskegon for many years. The new owners have done a wonderful job with all the many upgrades they have done. We will be going back for many more years.

We have power issues and the park didn’t really seem to care about it claimed that the issue was from the old owners but they never fixed the issue. Told us we would revive an 20% discount and never did. There answer for the fix was they tried to tell us not to run out ac units when it was over 90 degrees out. Won’t stay there again

There was no power for hours. They didn't realize they couldn't have all trailers along the lake and we were told to take shifts for AC. Then staff guided an incoming trailer to back into the front of my car. The staff member admitted the fault. He told the driver that the owner of the campground would take care of it. Later they blew me off and blamed the driver. I have yet to be compensated.

Last minute find for a last minute stay and it did not disappoint! The team put on a fireworks show for us on the 4th of July! How cool is that!? The private lake was great to swim in and super refreshing. Beach was clean. Loved the food vendors! Make the trip to downtown for sure! Such a fun area!

The setting is very beautiful with the small lake. However, the brown water was disconcerting and we didn’t want in our tank nor running through our filters. The explanation of the minerals in it along with the smell of it was bothersome.

The staff at reservations are great and willing to work with campers to give us a safe and good time camping!! The grounds are well maintained. Issue with an extended tree limb was dealt with quickly. Our grandkids love the campground and all its amenities and had an awesome time here!

Absolutely wonderful stay here. Sheila and the rest of the staff are warm and friendly. You can tell everyone pitches in to keep things neat and clean. We’ve been to 100s of sites all over the country, can confidently say this is the cream of the crop, from all aspects of how a campground should be ran, including state parks. It was a quick trip planned the day prior just to get away for a night and have a good time. Never been at a KOA and fir our 1st experience it was Great. The staff and family's were amazing. So polite and helpful. We will recommended this KOA. We will also be back. Thank you such a good welcome and making us feel good about our stay.

A great park! A lot of activities for kids. Well maintained and clean. A family I know stayed at a different park in Muskegon and complained that it was dirty and had fireworks going off at all hours. This camp was quiet at night and no fireworks at any time.

First time staying in a cabin with family of 5 and it was great! Would love if the fire pit was a little more private from the neighboring cabin, but still had a great time! Showers and bathrooms could use some TLC and updates but everything was clean. The whole family loved the beach area, kayaks, and pedal boat!! All the KAO staff were so friendly and helpful! Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

We stayed in the deluxe cabins. Everything was so cozy. And they supplied the linens, even had little bottles of shampoo and conditioner, dishes, propane for the grills. Nice trail to walk on and all the grandkids loved the giant pillow to jump on. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at this KOA. Our campsite was a lakeside site and it was lovely. Staff are great. The one area that brought my rating down to a 4 was the road noise from the highway. Probably not much can be done about it, but it was a bit annoying while relaxing at our campsite by the lake.

We have stayed at this campground many times, and it is one of our absolute favorites! We are very frequent KOA campers and often opt to stay at a KOA as much as we can. The fishing and views of the lake from the RV sites are absolutely beautiful, and it is my favorite to walk out to in the morning. Staff are VERY friendly and make sure your stay is the best! The campground is dog friendly as well as family friendly. I took note that the new owners are planning several fun events for this season, and we hope to be able to come back and attend some at future stays! All in all one of our favorites, we can't wait to stay again soon!

We had a fun memorial day weekend all the other campers and staff were super friendly. Bathrooms and shower area was very clean there were alot of weekend activities to participate in such as crafts and the community potluck the store there was stocked with everything you would need and it was budget friendly it was our first time camping here and we can't wait to come back next year.
