Arrived late and was harrased about it twice once during stay and right before I left. Tried to be as quiet as possible when I arrived. I was told I should I should stayed hooked up to my truck. Impossible as I have 8 guinea pigs and rabbits. Will not stay again and would not recommend campground!!!!

Loved the low-key, small campground feeling without all the big rigs and inconsiderate campers. Will definitely be back again!

Thank you staff for being great and informative. Facility was nice & clean. Enjoyed the rentals you had available for the kids but you need something else in the water for play. Loved to watch kids get excited about catching their fish. The restrooms could use an upgrade. Had trouble with flushing toilets & out of order showers. I would stay again if I had a trailer with accommodations. TY.

First off, there was no wifi, as advertised. I was overcharged for my stay. I was charged for 4 nights and I didn't stay 4 nights, only 3. I notified the park a week prior that I would be arriving Friday , staying 3 nights but they still charged me for 4 nights. I'm owed $40 for the night I didn't stay.

The guy is VERY rude to EVERYONE! ALL STAFF WAS RUDE!! I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!

All was great..the worker guy with dark hair helped us back are camper in.... entertainment was good.Not koa fault...just thought the fire works we're going to start after the fire girls.So I had 1 puppy scared to death.She was trying to ascape and crying.My hubby had other dog..both dogs were crying. my plan was to go in camper with dogs and look out of camper window.Oh well glad my dogs didn't r

The hosts were extremely kind and the kids had a wonderful weekend playing on the water! Onpy downsides were the mosquitoes and the bathroom facilities are due for an update but they were clean and sufficient.

1st night no hot water in our deluxe cabin no 24 hr maintenance to contact for repair until 2nd day. Cabins were excellent need more water pressure. Steve told me he would refund 1st day due to no hot water issue I have not received the refund yet.

Opening weekend for the season. No signs on bathrooms to distinguish men and women. Had men walking in to restroom that women are showering in. No soap. Vandalized property that wasn’t fixed-broken windows, etc.

The owner and staff were friendly and courteous. Were very helpful with directions and recommendations for the area. It was the beginning of their season so I don't think they were quite ready for us. WIFI was not connected yet and laundry was still full of stored items so couldn't be used.

Spring clean up was not done. Lots were messier then usual. Dirt roads need to he oiled or what ever it needs to keep dust down. Two lots had commercial trailors stored and one lot was filled with junk. Workers were friendly and helpful. Wish they would be more prepared esthetically before opening. Lots are normally bad anyway being dirt.

We arrived and the campground didnt seem "ready". What I mean is that the staff seemed to be scrambling to setup the sites/cabins and even restrooms. The first night the bathrooms didnt have men/women signs on them so it was a bit confusing which was which. Our cabin swing was not hung up, and some of the other activities were not ready for use either. Staff did a good job setting things up if req

Owner was unwelcoming, we felt like he watched us all the time. The lake was unusable. There was an additional cost for everything. We will not be returning. I my opinion the owner is not worthy of carrying the KOA name.

3 day stay had to leave a day early. Sick child. Couldn't use the laundry to wash bedding . They were ready to close. Would not refund our third day. Not impressed. Won't go back!

Enjoyed our stay at your campground. Our interaction with the staff was friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if we decide to visit the area.

Campsites had no rock, was just dirt and a little grass. One guest was very rude, told us our dog was not allowed on the beach area, The beach was covered in poop. 2 guests who stopped by needed to pay a visitor’s fee because they had been there for more than a 1/2 hour. booked 2 nights..the highway noise was horrible, neighbors sewer hose right next to our picnic table area..couldn't cook or sit out..went immediately to cancel 2nd night..Man in office rude and would not accommodate..said could have booked our spot and would not refund 2nd night..there were 2 vacant spots that weekend..we left after first night...horrible experience

We stayed in an economy cabin, it was clean and suited our one night stay. Walking path around the pond was very nice. People were very nice in the office and camping there. I would stay again.

Beautiful spot. The trails around the lakes and railroad tracks were easy to hike and I am sure will be beautiful when the leaves change color. Highly recommend.

Loved location 15 minutes to Muskegon and White Lake. Short staffed like everywhere so one guy was doing everything. Office wasn’t open much due to just one man doing everything. He was very friendly. Restrooms not cleaned or sanitized while we were there. A little road noise but not big problem. Lake is peaceful and beautiful view. All lots are nice and level.

The owner and staff were friendly. Plenty of shade. Used the 2nd lake to let our Golden enjoy the water. Our 2nd time here. Easy to get to. Close to the downtown area.

Was hoping for a better campground. Dirt roads, dirt sites, too close together. Bathrooms were clean. Being new to KOA I thought their campgrounds would conform to higher standards.

My girlfriend and I ended up staying in Muskegon. It was our first time camping together. Everything was perfect. The great outdoors was beautiful. We had a really good time even though the weather was cloudy and rainy for the whole time we were there. Looking forward to doing it again soon

Friendly staff. Campground bathrooms need some attention. Clean bathrooms is pretty much a deal breaker for people. Work on that and you will get more campers to return.

Host was very pleasant and accommodating. Site needs some serious updating if the goal is to have return traffic. Showers are inadequate and poorly constructed. Shower curtains are cheap, could be changed weekly, current curtains show lack of cleaning and are mildewed on shower side. I would not allow my family members to use the showers.

Nice little KOA. Campsites are nice - nothing fancy, but very comfortable. Campground is really pretty with a pond/lake. Staff are all very nice and knowledgeable.

This campground has lots to offer. Cabins, a fishing pond, paddle boats, playground and short walking trail around the pond. Camp owner was very friendly. The camp is located next to a 4-lane road, so there is some traffic noise.

A very nice Journey KOA. Yes there was unavoidable road noise, typical of Journey KOAs. Nice walk path around the on site lake. Camping sites were very nice. The WiFi would bounce you out if you were not actively on line, but very easy to log back in.

First time ever that we pulled in a KOA and did not stay. Owner very rude, amenities not as advertised, sites very undefined and close together. Drove back 160 miles next day to request "KOA refund guarantee" and pick up our mail/meds that we forgot previous day. Owner shouted "get off my property" and we left. Did refund all but $40, as a charge we didn't agree to for getting mail. Dump - avoid!

Dirt road in is a bit hard to find and bumpy. Everything is clean tidy and supervised.

Beautiful little campground on a beautiful little lake with a path surrounding the lake for morning and evening walks. The hosts were amazing! We stayed a few weeks before Halloween, and they had a lot of organized events.. movies, trick or treat, campsite decoration contest, everything! We will be back.
