We loved out deluxe cabind the only down fall was the shower had very rusty water so now my blond hair has an rusty color to it and I have to go pay the salon to fix it but othere then that we loved our stay just need good filters put on the showers in the deluxe cabin 1

We stayed for 4 days it was great, it was quiet, the staff was very friendly, it was clean. Overall it was great. We will definitely be going back. We would recommend this campground

Staff was friendly from needing to adjust our stay in advance, to helping us get situated and in the store. The new sand at the beach was great and the noise level was amazing.

Stayed in a deluxe cabin. The refrigerator smelled as if something has died in it and the toilet seat had a broken attachment screw. The lake does not look appealing for swimming.

If you like highway noise you'll love this campground. Didn't realize that when I booked it's right next to US-31. Added bonus was loud Harley bikes in the campground with blaring radios as they rode in. The opposite of relaxing.

They have a employee who gets his Rocks Off by going around trying to find anything He can to harass people simply Because he Enjoyed it and everything is out of date my 1st time and my last time

I saw so many bad reviews for this KOA, and I must say I never saw any of those things. It was fine, I will be back for sure. The owner Steve was helpful with RV questions and prices were very good. Everyone camping there was very social. Maybe those that gave a bad review should just obey the rules of the camp ground. This is my opinion, and I will be back.

Loved camping at koa, this our second year coming here. The bathrooms and shower areas were cleaned and well stocked. The campground seemed well maintained. Only downside is some of the camping areas; ours included were over half gravel which makes for not only a difficult set up but sharp stabs of rock under foot unless you put traps down first.

We always enjoy out stay here, it always makes it easier for our special needs child to get to experience camping safely. Plus when we have nice storms like we did a great view to watch.

The cabin could have been cleaner- the mattress pad had dog hair and floor didn’t seem too clean. With no Wi-Fi we felt we paid full price but didn’t have all the accommodations promised.

Staff are friendly and pleasant to deal with. The view and peacefulness of the lake was restorative. Nice swimming area and enjoyed the 3/4 mile walk around the lake, with half being a nature trail. The trees block almost all the noise from the road. Will definitely come back.

Congested, noisy with limited shower facilities some were out of order. Gate keeper stated that a family relative would have to pay the $5.00 guest fee per person just to enter the park pick us up and drive us t to Muskegon. We had to walk to the gate to meet our driver and then walk back from the gate to our campsite late at night. Cannot recommend this KOA and would never stay there again.

Amy checked us in, She is super nice and very Hospitable. We asked to a place to eat she recommended Leftys. What a great recommendation their food was delicious. We wanted to go to Lake Michigan Amy said to try Duck Lake. So glad we did! The cabin we stayed in was clean and ready for our arrival. Nice trail to walk, We didn't swim maybe if there was a pool we would've. Overall a great stay!

It was good, wish we could have stayed longer. However, the women's showers were not in great working order and hardly had any water flow from them.

Staff was very helpful with accommodating a last minute additional site for family members. The only concern was we were placed in a sunny and close to the loud freeway site. Showers do not have hot water and very low water pressure. Overall, our stay was awesome and hoping KOA will improve concerns above in the near future! Advised to book as early as January next year for a cabin.

This KOA has gone downhill since 2019. Bathrooms need repair and updating. One men's shower not working, both bathrooms smelled of mold. Also, Chipping paint, a hole in the wall in one of the stalls, stall doors that wont shut properly. The sites and roads are dirt, very sparse grass, no gravel. No WiFi. Wood bundles very small. Will not be returning.

Great personalized service. Friendly staff and clean. Only reason 4 stars … Shower unusable only a trickle of ice cold water. I don’t expect much from a camp shower… but that was the worst.

I had a good time one complaint is the showers are really small and the ones connected to the store and office have really bad water pressure. We had some loud campsite neighbors one night. But over all We all had a good time the show on Saturday was neat and we enjoyed the fireworks. Thanks for a great stay and the place was kept up really well

The campsite was nice, the beach was clean, playground was nice for the kids. Sean was very helpful and friendly who made our stay even better. The only drawback was the owner Steve constantly changing the rules for electric bikes and seemed inhospitable and cheap, our visitors were told they were unwelcome and we couldn’t even get a few garbage bags for our cabins. Bathroom issues, very low pressure and toilets couldn’t be flush at times. Other than that, it was ok. I’m in the septic & well business, highly recommend getting both.

We have been coming for years now my whole family we rent out about 6 cabins or more at times and the owner has gotten very rude and disrespectful to the group we come to have a good time and not be treated the way he treats ppl

It was all run down. Only one shower worked and the tweeker lady that cleans the bathroom was creepy. The shower in the men's room by the office barely worked. There was no activities for the children. The fireworks display was a joke. I think the owner should put more money back into his campground. Absolutely horrible place.

The water did not work for half of my stay, the bathrooms were filthy, there was never any paper towel or toilet paper in the bathroom. The campground workers knew that other campers were blaring music until four in the morning and still did not do anything about it. There was a nosy employee who stuck his head in my car and I do not know why. My stay was noisy and gross. I will not come again.

Our stay was great, my only complaint was the shower stalls in the bathroom were beyond tiny. I am 8 months pregnant and I could barely fit in the stall. Getting dressed after rinsing off was beyond difficult. I couldn't imagine trying to bathe a child. My boyfriend is 6 ft tall and I highly doubt he wouldve been able to fit either.

Rented a 2 bedroom cabin for the night. The cabin itself was clean but upkeep needs some work. Not to far from the restroom but restrooms were HOT and showers were small and needed updates and shower heads would be nice. Water in front of cabins is murky and not swimmable! Front desk worker was rude. Would definitely find a different place to stay next time and would not recommend to anyone!

Lots to do here and we loved the evening shows. I loved how they came around and picked up your trash a few times a day. The walking trail was nice too. This is also really close to Michigan's Adventure (which is why we chose this one). It could use a little TLC on some areas though. The playground needed some attention, especially the zip line. But otherwise, not too much to complain about.

Everything was great! Definitely would come back and recommend to friends/family! The kids had a great time playing on the playground and in the lake. Everything was clean and felt very safe. The staff was friendly and helpful!

The camp is really nice we liked it a lot. The only complaints is that it’s too close to the highway so you get a lot of road noise. And the lake needs to be like “skimmed” or raked because. There was debris floating on top.

We had an excellent experience! Our kids love the jumping pillow and zip line. The only complaint I have is our mini fridge inside our cabin did not work but we made do.

Your team of staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating with our large group. Lots of activities for our kids. We enjoyed it so much, we're coming back in three weeks!

Beautiful little campground on a beautiful little lake with a path surrounding the lake for morning and evening walks. The hosts were amazing! We stayed a few weeks before Halloween, and they had a lot of organized events.. movies, trick or treat, campsite decoration contest, everything! We will be back.
