Bathrooms were always dirty, floors were horrible, should close once a day to clean owner charged us extra just paid him so not to argue But Mary was super nice and helpful The lake was the best part...The game room had one game the other 3 were crane things that just take your money :( Been to a different camp ground that had pinball arcade games pool table air hockey..now thats a game room

Much needed maintenance and cleaning needs to be done on this place. Has a lot of potential if they cleaned it up and had properly trained staffed with customer service skills.

My rating would be a 0 if that was a choice. Owner is rude and condescending. Changes rules, micromanages everyone, creeped out a few family members. Bathrooms have no hot water and are disgusting, mold everywhere, toilets don't flush well. The campground is not maintained. Do not stay here.

My kids and I really loved the beach. There was a raft to jump off and a sandbar to play on. The water was really warm. There were also water toys to rent and different kinds of bikes to rent. The downfall of our stay was that the one set of showers didn’t have hot water the 2 times I showered in them. We also saw the owner/worker drinking beer on several occasions. Overall, we had a great time.

We brought 3 grandsons in a 24 ft motorhome and they stayed busy all 3 days we were there with the jump pillow, playground, zip line and swimming in the lake. The lots are nice and level with plenty of shade and the kids had a blast with all the other kids in the park.

Overall, the experience was good. The restrooms were clean for the most part - there were a couple of times in the afternoon when they weren't the cleanest. I would come here again.

We absolutely loved this location! The lake was beautiful, the kids loved to swim and jump off the pad. It was cool to be able to rent kayaks and such also. There's a trail you can walk which was very nice. The only downfall for us was it was very busy so bathrooms were a little of a mess.

We loved our cabin on the water. My boys loved catching fish in a net and looking at the turtles.

This is our 2nd time camping at the Muskegon KOA and we enjoy it! The owner is very nice and the bathrooms were very clean compared to last year which was also a plus.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. They really cater towards a good time. We were able to take trips in and out of the camp site. Door dash delivered food for our needy daughter. It is close to Michigan Adventure and Lake Michigan. We fished, jumped on the pillow, and enjoyed an awesome walk around the lake. The staff even helped with fire wood and started! Awesome time!

We enjoyed our stay here very much! Nice beach for swimming. The kids enjoyed the bounce pad and playground.

Only a 3 from us because owner/manager verbally attacked me due to being from a different country. I questioned something on our invoice, apologized as was my mistake and then he started with a rant that was pathetic and quite disturbing. Also wifi not working, apparently for over a week and 1of 2 showers out of order 4 days also.

The trail and lake was nice, but the highway noise at night was too loud and one of they guys managing the park entrance out front was very rude about explaining the speed limit on the private road. There was only 1 sign and personally I think they should be at this location to direct vehicles and inform of the speed limit and the fact there are kids across the street that cross. I was new!

We camped in our tent at an electric only campsite while visiting our son at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. Our site had noticeably been cleaned and raked before we arrived. Though the RV sites are quite close, our tent site gave us plenty of room and trees and undergrowth gave a sense of privacy. Also, the campground is only a 10 minutes from the camp!

Needs a bit of a facelift for bathrooms and kid play areas. Also the highway is dreadful when camping definitely not peaceful on the one side of the campground. Lake/path was beautiful though and staff was super friendly and nice!

Had site 88. The highway noise was very disappointing between that and rhe site across the way, it was very loud. Bought ear plugs and that helped. Staff was super friendly and loved all the things the kids had to do. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

My son and his had a great time the staff and the owner where very kindly friendly. The grounds were very clean and beautiful. Also I felt safe to let my son run off to the play ground by himself for him to meet other camp kids . Because there was always a staff member keeping an eye on the play ground.

Wonderful campsite, staff was friendly, grounds were clean, other than the sound of cars on the highway, the camp ground was quiet. Lots of fun things for kids! The views of the lake were gorgeous

Weird vibe. Family was staying there and I was driving through on the way to my kayak trip. Unlike any KOA I've stayed at and I've used them all over the country. Run down, no WiFi. Staff is odd. Refused to give me a tent site until said I saw many spots online, but It was close to 4 so I drove in. Magically one appeared. Then she asked if I even had a tent. It was mostly empty the next day too.

Overall we loved the camp ground. There was an incident our first night where one camper stole items from another. The staff handled it perfectly, making sure we were all safe and happy. The bathrooms could use some maintenance but that’s normal for a campground in my opinion. They drive around collecting your trash and even deliver firewood to your site which is nice.

We stayed on a rustic camp site. The site was clean, it was easy to check in, the bathrooms were clean. This is a great campground and would suggest to anyone rustic camping.

Location - fantastic Cleanliness - would give a higher score on the cabin we rented vs the shower and restroom facilities. The cabin was clean and for the most part functional. Blinds have slats damaged/missing, toilet seat needs replacement - does not stay secured to the toilet.

Good and bad. Lovely location on the lake with nice walking trails. Close to the main hghway though so lots of road noise. Facilities could use some sprucing and TLC. Laundry room/arcade area was a mess with boxes of things stored? or left there, staff had to move things so that I could access machines.

Dirt road in is a bit hard to find and bumpy. Everything is clean tidy and supervised.

Beautiful little campground on a beautiful little lake with a path surrounding the lake for morning and evening walks. The hosts were amazing! We stayed a few weeks before Halloween, and they had a lot of organized events.. movies, trick or treat, campsite decoration contest, everything! We will be back.
