site was nice and level but the water had a yellow tint to it and was not good. Loved the lake and trail around the lake. Beach area was nice too.

The cabins and amenities are amazing but the guy who runs this one is awful. We had a huge party of people staying for my son’s birthday so we had multiple cabins and tent sites. He was rude to every single person during check-in. We won’t be staying again.

Very clean park but could use some upgrades in the restrooms formica coming loose on countertops and rust on stall walls. Some tree roots should be ground out or covered up hard to walk on some sites due to them. Trip hazards. No wifi was available

We had a small rustic cabin on the private lake and the kids really enjoyed fishing right from our site. Cabin had broken window but was air conditioned. Main concern was the plumbing, working toilets and showers were limited.

Owner is extremely rude, he seems to always have a beer in his hands Wasn't allowed to use personal kayaks because they require you to rent theirs Cabin was very dirty when we arrived the cabin also had a bee hive by the door Owner tried charging me $25 per night extra for my 3 year old

I didn’t realize the full amenities this campground had until I got there! My kids loved it! The store is actually super convenient as well! Don’t listen to all of the negativity about the owner! He is just trying to run a family friendly business and keep the campground in great shape. Only one mens shower was a challenge but not a total issue. They were working on the other one!

Had a great weekend! When we first arrived, Sean was attentive and nice. They had great activities for Labor Day weekend! Our kids had a blast. This was our second time here and we will be back!

The location is close to many Lake Michigan beaches, the staff was friendly, and there is plenty for the kids to do. Our tent site was good, but the bathroom doors slammed shut and were close enough to many sites, including ours, to be a nuisance. The toilets and showers (cold) need an upgrade to say the least. Many of the toilets did not flush and got disgusting until the next cleaning.

Left early. Horrible noise from the expressway. Insufficient restroom facilities that need updating. No hot water for shower. Ad-hoc signs and flyers everywhere posting common sense rules which is usually a signal of poor management. The most absurd is that they charge an extra $10 a day if you drive an electric car (I don’t). RV’s use more electricity than a top off Tesla charge. Won’t be b

If only there was a zero star option. From a rude greeting by the owner when we arrived, the entrance for RVs was not conducive to actually pull forward or move to the unprofessional attitude. Maybe take all that energy and update the showers so there’s actually warm water? Stayed at many KOAs just this year and this by far was the worst. Just keep driving and take this one off your list to stay

Campsites were NOT clean. Women's bathhouse OK, men's: only 2 toilets (one of which was not working) for entire campground. Barking dogs peeing on other people's campsite grass.

Bathrooms and shower stalls were very dirty and falling apart. The "lake" is a man made pond that didn't appear to be well maintained. The highway is right on top of you so you listen to cars and semi trucks all night. The dirt road leading to the campground was nothing but potholes. After staying at the KOA in St.Ignas a month ago I guess I had higher standerds.

I was very impressed! The management was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for me and my family. The campground is clean, flat and one of the best KOA’s I have been to. I look forward to visiting again

Cabin was OK, door was kinda clunky coming in and out. Bathrooms could use some updating, but were kept fairly clean. Kids enjoyed the stay, playing on bounce pillow and swimming. Had one lady in the office that was very nice, guy was a little weird(awkward).

Sean the groundsman was beyond welcoming and gave us so much helpful information during our stay. Left feeling like we had a lifetime friend in him. Looking forward to seeing him again

Front desk staff and older male who checks cars as they come in were not very friendly. They seemed argumentative and not very welcoming. The older male was especially not friendly and cocky. Showers in the back restroom were always cool. Tent sites are very small. Very weedy around the lake by the cabins. On the positive side, the trash pickup was very quick. Appreciated that.

We liked everything but had one little issue. Our site #42 had the water hook up on the wrong side. I flagged down an employee delivering wood and eventually he brought me an extension hose so it would reach.

The staff members were very friendly, campsite was clean and functional. Sad to see the sinks for dishes weren't functional.

It was ok—just seemed a bit disheveled since our stay there 10 yrs ago. Just needs some TLC in landscaping and building/grounds maintenance. Check in was awkward—said he couldn’t believe tenters would actually come since it was supposed to rain—it was only a 50/50 chance and it never did. Customer service abd welcome needs work!

Fantastic campground! Nice size sites, everything clean and well maintained, and fun and friendly staff. The only downside is the highway noise.

Rude staff comes to campsite doesn't even give name and title and starts demanding answers about our check in. Something that could have easily been looked up in the office. Same sink faucet that was not working 4 years ago is still not working. The facility even though clean is going downhill seems to be being run on the cheap.

I wish the employees/owners were more positive less negative. Strict camp setup is not really necessary. Creating rules specifically because 1 camper created an issue doesn't seem friendly, but rather the specific camper should be dealt with. Hearing the story then followed up with an additional sheet of rules because 1 camper asked for car fuel since someone else can charge their car unpopular

The bad: inop wifi and one shower stall out of order: also got inexplicably “scolded “ by some young guy as we returned from a concert for driving “too fast” (wrong!). The good: the gal in the shop helped retrieve our broom mistakenly taken by staff- I had laid it on garbage bag to keep out of the dirt. For the price, our expectations were higher than what we experienced.

Stayed at a campsite on the lake. The camp was very clean and well organized. We enjoyed fishing in the morning and the campfires at night. We used the campground as our jumping off point for attending the 3 day Unity Festival in Muskegon. The campground was only 15 minutes from the concert. It worked out perfectly.

First time staying at a KOA and we loved it! Beautiful view in the morning, the campsites are nice and they are shaded which made it nice. Already planning a trip with friends for next year!

The cabin was cute and super clean. The shower curtains were disgusting, changing those would make a big difference - super mildewy and moldy. The water smelled terrible in the bathrooms. Ice cold showers wasn’t fun. Lake was pretty to look at. Loved having a fire in front of our cabin by the lake!

Great place to stay. Sadly our trip was cut short due to rain and storms. Only one shower was operating in the main building which left a line if you didn’t get in early. Other than that the campground was great if you want to take your kids someplace fun. This was my first trip back here in 20+ years and we’ll definitely come back.

Dirt road in is a bit hard to find and bumpy. Everything is clean tidy and supervised.

Beautiful little campground on a beautiful little lake with a path surrounding the lake for morning and evening walks. The hosts were amazing! We stayed a few weeks before Halloween, and they had a lot of organized events.. movies, trick or treat, campsite decoration contest, everything! We will be back.
