The Muskegon KOA needs some TLC. It’s dirty & dated. Some staff was great but the owner is sarcastic, rude & all about making a dollar. It rained one day & our site was flooded, mud EVERYWHERE. Made for an uncomfortable stay.

Overall we has a goid relaxing time. A small investment in an iron removal system for the showers would be a big help.

We had a great time the people are absolutely wonderful friendly courteous always available for questions. The grounds are fantastic they just need to upgrade there facilities the bath house and restrooms and not enough to accommodate a full park.

Bathroom/ showers need a lot of help One of the stall doors doesn't lock close One of the showers is out of order it was rough last memorial Day in 2022 when we came back in July 2023 nothing had changed nothing had improved aside from that gift shop is nice the beach is nice there's good fishing to be had and the campsites are fine

Worst campground I’ve ever stayed at. It makes me wish I hadn’t signed up for the rewards program as KOA won’t be at the top of my list for future trips based on this stay. Obnoxious owner yells at kids being kids. Broken down old campers in some spots. Green slimy algae pond water to swim in. Broken shower in the men’s room that sounds like it’s been broken for years. I stayed in one of the cabins this time. It was nice and clean. The things that I have read about this place is not true. The staff is very friendly. I will most definitely be back again

This was our first time camping with the kids, they had the best time. Campground was clean, the workers were so nice, we will definitely be back again and again!

Most everything was great, sites were clean and staff was friendly. One major irritation was that we were not allowed to use our paddle boards (you wanted us to rent yours), and we were told it was due to “cross contamination”, however floaties and other water toys were fine, even though there was no way to know where they had been either…

Everything was great except for the bathrooms and our electricity. Luckily maintenance had us use another electrical box which fixed that concern! The bathrooms were the biggest concern and needs to be addressed.

This is the worst campground I've visited. The bathrooms were filthy and half the showers were inoperative. The power at my site did not work for most of the first night, and management was not active in keeping the noise down, which lasted until nearly midnight. The person making the noise was an employee and many neighbors complained. Ended up leaving a day early. Sad stay for July 4th.

Majority of the workers were very unprofessional. There was one guy and a young girl and an older woman who were nice and helpful. Bathrooms were usually not kept up. My son got sick from the lake. I have camped all my life, I'm not a fancy camper, but this was not a great experience.

The worst KOA in Michigan! The drunk owner Steve spends his day Harassing campers and making nasty crude jokes. The “rules” aren’t enforced by the entire staff. And the bathrooms are a serious health hazard. None of the money spent by campers is going back into the amenities. Will NOT be returning unless it’s under new ownership. Disappointing is the only word to describe our weekend.

Most of the staff was friendly but the owner was very rude and embarrassed my kid and my nieces and nephews. Would not recommend

The place is fine. It's nothing very special though. The lake was cool as well as the path around it. They had some buggy rental for the kids, but it was super expensive and they weren't all that great.The people at the camp store were great and accommodating. Super helpful. There was a grumpy older guy there that seemed to think he ran the place.The whole campground area is dusty, not much grass

Horrible no sleep. They allowed a site to start their set up @ 12am, tents, and air mattresses & they set up a TV projector on the outside of the tent and watched a movie until 3:30 am. The kids were screaming and kept the whole park up. I spoke to 3 women in the bathroom in the am, and all of them were highly upset due to the lack of respect from the family & KOA. I'll Never go back here.

Campground was quiet, the safe were kind during Checkin and check out. We rented a rustic cabin on the lake for 1 night. It met our needs was clean had ac, or electric heater if needed. The bathrooms need updated, thankfully we were only staying the night because not sure I would shower in the showers. The toilets seemed to be clean the night we arrived so that's a plus!

Small quaint campground. We stayed in the deluxe cabin which was very clean. The camp store had pretty much anything you could have forgotten at home and very reasonably priced. This is our second time staying at this KOA and we will definitely be staying again.

Beautiful stay! Clean area, friendly staff, everyone minded their own and left us alone. My kind of seclusion and respect. Will definitely be back for our next mini vacation! Gas grill wouldn’t light but nothing we couldn’t fix with a little scrubbing and a lighter to light it. Cabin was clean, air conditioner was on point, showers were hot. We are happy!

Pretty poor for KOA. Only two shower in mens room. Only one working and it was very poor. Curtain looks like it has been there since ww two. Vice site and trail. Very dusty.

Only one shower in main bath. Claims to have inflatable water slide. NOPE, Bath rooms and showers in desperate need of repair and updates. Not up to KOA standards! Have stayed here 4 other times over the years. Gone downhill fast!

Had a great time. My boys love this camp ground. They love waking up fishing the small lake and playing at the beach. We come here every year. Planning another trip soon.

The gentleman at the counter was very helpful and informative. General store had many items. Our cabin was nice and clean. The only knock I have is that bathrooms could use a complete overhaul.

Rude staff. We were charged for things we shouldn't have been. When we fought it, the gentleman very rudely responded. Once I mentioned he was making fraudulent charges, he threw his hands up and said whatever and walked out of the building. He later came back and refunded the charges. Also, we were literally yelled at for being loud before quiet hours started. We will NOT be back.

Dirt road in is a bit hard to find and bumpy. Everything is clean tidy and supervised.

Beautiful little campground on a beautiful little lake with a path surrounding the lake for morning and evening walks. The hosts were amazing! We stayed a few weeks before Halloween, and they had a lot of organized events.. movies, trick or treat, campsite decoration contest, everything! We will be back.
