There were two male staff members there that were extremely disrespectful and rude. Our group consisted of two mid-twenty year old professional females and felt like they were literally out to get us from the start. We felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable. We will not be returning.

The staff keep the property very clean and secure. They make you feel welcome when checking in . Nice place to stop and rest.

The clip art map online is very misleading. The lake view cabins seem to have a nice sandy beach down to the water for kids to play and that it not what it is at all. There is zero shade at the lake side cabins, making it unpleasant to be outside for most of the day. Our friends had a 32 foot RV that definitely could’ve fit near the cabins but instead were on the opposite side of camp.

We are extremely unhappy with our stay. We stay almost exclusively with KOA so we have plenty of experience with the various owners that we've been countered. This is the first time we've heard an owner yelling at his employees and cussing out a customer. We will absolutely never stay or recommend this KOA

The owner was very rude . He asked my friend repeatedly what letter she was (he apparently was asking about her generation) then proceeded to say oh you are a millineal I need to speak slower. He sold moldy wet wood . He patrols the campground and makes you feel uncomfortable. He persisted to tell our friend that he should know better about the speed even when our friend apologized and slowed down

Great time, great view, overall great campground. Would be a 10 if you had a pool. Loved the way it was maintained and people were very pleasant.

We have been to this campground a year times. It’s been several years but I didn’t think things would have changed. So I booked for my 3 adult children to camp before they head off and do adult things. All 3 said the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Toilets backed up or not working at all and showers had mold everywhere. If bathrooms are at all important don’t go here.

Eclectic owner. Small sites. Very nice swimming area and playground. Fishing was good too. Having the neighbors campfire 20ft from our bed was less than ideal. They weren't being loud, but we could still hear all of their campfire stories about days in the past with mushrooms and thier good friend Mary Jane.

The campground itself was nice, had a lot of potential. My husband and kid loved the fishing. Owner of the park was not a very nice person to deal with, he was even rude to his staff in front of guests. We travel to Muskegon every summer for a stay and before we left KOA we went across the street to scope out a different campground for next year.The owner definitely ruining our stay for us.

While I did not experience any issues myself. My family did say that when they came to visit me the night of the 15th they were greeted rudely and employees were not friendly.

I don't think the bathrooms were ever really clean when we went in. The showers were def not. We loved our spot on the water but there was very little privacy and our neighbors were loud until 1am

Bathrooms did not appear to be cleaned the entire weekend we were there. This evident by dirt on the sink and floor in the same spots the entire weekend. The cabin we stayed felt very dirty to us too. For the price we paid I was not satisfied, and wish we would have stayed in our own dirt in a tent.

This was our first visit, and we had a great time! We love dog-friendly vacationing, and our two labs loved our twice daily trail walks around the lake. Based on our experience at Muskegon KOA, we became KOA rewards members, so we can have peace of mind reserving camp sites in areas we're unfamiliar with.

The inside of the cabin was fairly clean and up-to-date. Outside there was gypsy moth frass (poop) covering the patio. You couldn't eat outside the first night because it was constantly falling from the trees. Told the office, one worker said sorry and the other laughed and said "I didn't clean that one." Also, wifi just doesn't reach the deluxe cabins, period. Also told "sorry ". Not as advertise

Our stay was very nice. Had a camping site right off the lake. Campground was clean and so were restrooms and showers. Help there was very friendly. Will go back next year.

Was impressed how someone was always checking site for garbage and making sure the campground was kept up. The only real negative , we had a pull thru site and the fire ring was way to close to the front of our motorhome and the motorhome next to us, didn’t feel safe .

Had a great time. The park was very clean, trash picked up quickly. Lots of people camping but it was still quiet and peaceful. Grandkids enjoyed swimming and riding the bikes. The staff were all friendly. Will stay here again when we are on the west side of the state. We loved going to Lake Michigan and the beaches which are close to the KOA.

Very enjoyable, clean, friendly, the lake and jumping pillow were favorites for my kids. Definitely will recommend and would stay again.

The. Camp needs updated badly. The bathrooms had toilet flooding on the floor and left throughout the day. Showers were very dirty compared to other Koa’s we have stayed at. The staff is constantly driving around coming to your campsite. If they only put that same energy into cleaning the bathroom and shower facilities.

Stayed July 1, 2nd, and 3rd campground was clean. Staff was friendly. Only thjng i didnt really like was the lack of amenities most KOAs nowadays even the basic cabins have a microwave and minifridge this location does not. Biggest issue was Quiet time is NOT enforced people partying and being loud all night im talking to 2am and past... and its posted no fireworks well that also was not enforce

Steve, the park manager, has a very large ego problem and a rude demeanor. We paid an extra $200 for an extra person to stay in OUR camper because of KOA rules of 6 person max per site even though the sign in the office says no more than 8 per site.

Nice campground, friendly folks. Clean grounds, showers need improvement. We were their for 8 days over the 4th of July. There were a lot of children - bikes, skateboards of all kinds, pedal carts continually. High traffic. A bit noisy with lots of children for us. But if that is what you are looking for, it's the right spot.

The management was very rude and petty. They made comments about how fast we were driving in the campground even though we were going the posted speed limit. However they fly past us on their golf cart. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t shower there regardless of how long I was staying. I’d rather bath in the lake. Restrooms were outdated, dirty and all toilets backed up. Campsite had tree limbs that hung so low scratched top of my camper van.

Beautiful place, need to renovate bathrooms, replace fire pits at cabins, replace holey & torn curtains in cabins. Otherwise very nice.

We stayed here about 4 years ago and it was absolutely horrible. My BIL talked us into staying here again because he said they had improved. Well, he lied. The bathrooms are disgusting! The staff is rude. They made fake rules that don't make any sense. The staff made jokes with my 15 yr son about dying that were completely uncalled for. The sites have no grass and are a muddy mess.

The campground itself was nice - VERY noisy from outside fireworks but out of the control of KOA. I would probably never stay here again over the 4th of July holiday just for that reason. The bathrooms were okay - in need of an update. The men's bathroom only had one working shower and the shower curtain was needing to be replaced. Otherwise the employees were all very nice and accommodating.

I have stayed here for the past 3 years for the 4th of July long weekend. Every year I say it's my last. This time I absolutely mean it. Two years in a row power went out in half of my "deluxe" cabin. Last year we lost half power, and lost running water the following day. We travel each year with a crew of 15 to 25 people and we will seek a new location going forward.

Beautiful little campground on a beautiful little lake with a path surrounding the lake for morning and evening walks. The hosts were amazing! We stayed a few weeks before Halloween, and they had a lot of organized events.. movies, trick or treat, campsite decoration contest, everything! We will be back.
