Very well liked kids loved it so that's great for me only thing I think needs to be done is a shower bathroom in the n section other then that great camp ground and service

Great stay. I enjoyed all the activities that we attended. The camp store could have a few more staff on a busy weekend like Labor Day, but that was a small thing. I look forward to returning.

Was a nice relaxing weekend with a Friends family. Everyone was very friendly and shower houses very clean. Activities keep friends kids busy and they all had a lot of fun.

What a great location for us for an overnight on our way home from 2 months away. Staff supper friendly. Loved the onsite bar. After a long day on the road the bar was a nice relaxing spot especially since our site had no shade on a hot day even when with our awning out. I would return but just as for a site that would have shade in the evening since most sites are open without shade.

It’s the nicest KOA we’ve ever stayed at. The site could have been more level but we made it work. We would come back for sure! Highly recommended it!

This is a hidden gem! We'll return, and stay longer. Wonderful staff, store & facilities exceeded expectations by a LONG shot. "KOA Resort" caliber, despite assigned category. Spacious sites. Nice restaurant & bar! So few KOAs address adult comforts & needs -- fabulous job, Mt Gilead! Lovely pool and activity spaces. Fishing pond, too. (Only missing laundry ... coming soon!)

The Mt. Gilead KOA was a great place to stay for us. The staff was great and so friendly. They continue to update and add new things to make your stay that much better. The only issue I had was that the sewer hookup was very close to the ground which made it difficult but impossible to hook up. Definitely will be back again!!

Nice campground and very friendly staff. We always enjoy our stay here. The only negative is we had to clean the concrete pad upon arrival. It was covered in grass and dirt.

I truly cannot say enough GREAT things about this KOA! It was everything we wanted and then some! The staff was amazing, the amenities were perfect! Caitlyn made our stay extra fun with games and great conversations! We will definitely be staying here again!

Campground is beautiful and quiet. Great for pets big paw pen area and my grandson loved the many fishing ponds. Hated to leave just beautiful area. Highly recommend!

Greeted by a very friendly & knowledgeable young man :) Our stay was pleasant; the KOA is clean & very organized. LOTS of activities. We loved adult bingo & the walking trail! Your store is 1 of the best camp stores we've ever seen.

we always have nice relaxing time at mt gilead koa. staff is always helpful friendly and courteous. fellow campers are quiet and respectful. campsites are spacious and not on top if each other. one question can the new basketball also double as a pickleball court?

Nice park with very long sites and good amount of space between sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bar/restaurant looked nice we didn’t utilize but looked like it had good food options and drink options. The pool and pool area are really very nice!! Only suggestion would be a restroom of some sort within pool area.

wonderful, newer campground. super friendly staff. very clean sites, sites are a nice size. TONS of activities for kids. and even a driving range. the restaurant/bar were nice when a thunderstorm rolled in. would definitely stay here again. but i would bring a bike! campground is pretty large.

They need to do better with bathroom facilities cleaning and stocking toilet paper! We had to ask to have them cleaned and restocked and in the 6 nights we were there the only time they were taken care of was when we complained!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Mt.Gilead KOA! The staff was super friendly. The campground was clean and spacious. Your amenities were the best! I honestly felt very spoiled! Thank you for such an amazing time. We will definitely be back!

We are here for the eclipse and the staff have been so nice. It's a large, clean campground with a family -run feel.

This review is primarily for "Nini's: A Sister Concept", the new breakfast and lunch restaurant located on-site but open to the public. We dined on there on opening day and we're very impressed! They have a good selection of traditional breakfast foods and sandwiches for lunch, including paninis (from which their name is derived.) I had the chicken, bacon, ranch (CBR) panini, and it was delicious! The chicken breast was tender, the bacon was crispy, and the ranch sauce was a perfect complement. My husband had the smash burger panini with their special sauce and Swiss cheese. We split an order of onion rings, which were quite good for a quick service restaurant. Although meals come in to-go containers, there is ample seating there to enjoy your meal. While there we got a view of the campgrounds, which look very nice, with a beautiful pool. The building housing Nini's and the bar was beautiful with big windows.
