We had spoken to 2 different people from the campground prior to arrival who knew we were arriving on Friday March 31. The female even stated she would be there until 7 pm. When we arrived at 530 pm, no one was there. We had to wait for someone.

We were there in the off-season. Was windy and cold. There shud be an Emergency Contact number available for any problems that might affect the campground on off hours. The site is clean and well presented. Winter campers are very friendly.

Beautiful campground with great amenities, really appreciated the paw pen and bath house. The staff was wonderful: great communication, friendly, accommodating, and understanding.

We really enjoyed our stay. The people there are great, especially Tabatha who engaged with our 7yr old son to feed the ducks on a regular basis. We look forward to coming back!

This campground is so well maintained and the customer service from the staff is amazing! The events and activities made the trip awesome for our grandkids! 5 Stars for this campground and the staff!

We were there over Halloween weekend and it was a blast. Offered may activities that we took advantage of. Trick or Treating was fun. Seeing the many kids participate was fabulous.

It was an amazing site, nice and level and concrete pad. Plenty of room between sites. Friendly and caring staff, attentive to needs and wants and great experience. The bar for guests is a great addition!

From registering to departing, our stay was what we expected, EXCEPTIONAL! The staff is so cheerful and welcoming to everyone. From ordering firewood to ordering food, everything is perfect. With the addition of the new “dog sites” this campground has just continued to impress us! The Halloween events were perfect for the little ones! We can’t wait for our next stay!

Love the campground. All the workers are really nice and helpful. Only suggestion…. Plant more trees and trim up the ones you have. Some have been planted but more need to be planted. Many of them are not in great condition but could be with the proper trimming and car.

We absolutely love this KOA and the staff and family of this KOA. From the staff at Check-in to the restaurant/bar staff (Pam, Stephanie and Nick) to Kaitlyn who does all the activities, everyone just makes us feel so at home. These folks have become like family to us and we can not wait to see what the future brings this great place.

Always enjoy staying at Mt Gilead KOA. Best Environment, always a lot of activities for Both the Kids and Adults. Every Time we go so many enjoyable improvements and upgrades to the property. This makes us want to go back for more and experience new things. Thanks to ALL the Employes for making a good weekend trip GREAT.

We were there the 1st year open, we saw so.much potential n the camp. Now 3 years later the place is beautiful, the staff was great. Clean, neat, friendly. The potential is still growing with newer sites, and activities for all ages We will come back yearly.

We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. The campground was clean, I loved the picnic table and chairs that were provided. Overall it just was wonderful and I would highly recommend it to any of our other camping friends. Again, we definitely will be back and hopefully we'll be able to get our same sites.

Great 2-day stay. Nice check in and on site food service Only observation was more insects late in season vs some other places (I.e., stink bugs and hornets) Liked all the activities!

We are here for the eclipse and the staff have been so nice. It's a large, clean campground with a family -run feel.

This review is primarily for "Nini's: A Sister Concept", the new breakfast and lunch restaurant located on-site but open to the public. We dined on there on opening day and we're very impressed! They have a good selection of traditional breakfast foods and sandwiches for lunch, including paninis (from which their name is derived.) I had the chicken, bacon, ranch (CBR) panini, and it was delicious! The chicken breast was tender, the bacon was crispy, and the ranch sauce was a perfect complement. My husband had the smash burger panini with their special sauce and Swiss cheese. We split an order of onion rings, which were quite good for a quick service restaurant. Although meals come in to-go containers, there is ample seating there to enjoy your meal. While there we got a view of the campgrounds, which look very nice, with a beautiful pool. The building housing Nini's and the bar was beautiful with big windows.
