The campgrounds were so nice. The campground was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We loved the bar area and all of the planned activities. We will def come back.

When we arrived at the park a person was at the entry to check us in, then a person to guide us to our site, this made life a little easier. Then the park used text messages to remind everyone about buying supplies before the store closed for the night, very helpful. Finally, the park had a nice area for a lease-free dog to play in. The Simpson family would stay here again.

This was our first time here and we loved it! They offer daily activities, if you’re interested. Or you can just relax and chill at your campsite. They have nice paths on-site and the Mt Gilead State Park is directly across the street and offers other walking paths. We’ll definitely be back.

We really loved the campground. The stay was awesome and the amenities were great. The only thing we would change, would be having more shad trees. We understand it’s a work in progress.

Every staff member was equally friendly and helpful. They keep the entire place clean and seem to enjoy their jobs. Lots to do there, will come back.

WE HAD A LOT OF FUN THIS WEEKEND. MY FAMILY MADE GREAT MEMORIES!!!!!!! THE STAFF WAS AWSOME AND EVERYTHING WAS SO NICE AND CLEAN. THERE WAS ACTIVITIES FOR EVERYONE AND THE POOL WAS AWSOME FOR MY TWO LITTLE ONES.

Loved it. Sites are spaced out and not on top of each other. Friendly hosts. Plenty of walking room. Highly recommend. They are on our list of goto campgrounds!!

Sites definitely aren't shaded and they need better leveling. Quite a bit of thistle in the yard area, which isn't ideal with young kids. The escort was confusing - not identifiable, didn't come to our vehicle and never spoke to us once he did lead us to our site. Just not a consistent KOA experience, but the amenities (pool, bounce pillow, play area, d park) were great and the bathroom spotless.

We always enjoy our stays at Mt Gilead! Friendly staff, lots of things for the kids to do, the pool is wonderful! We also enjoy not having to cook every meal- their pizza and chicken tenders are awesome! Extremely clean campground. Looking forward to our stay again in July.

We had such a fun time. The staff is so friendly & helpful! Our niece had lots of fun things to do. We will definitely be back. Just a little note *The bathrooms are so clean but you might want to restock them with toilet paper more often.

This is a great campground. It offers a lot in terms of amenities like a driving range, pool, and a nice lounge with games. Also a k9 area and some sites with a private fenced dog area. Sites are very nice. We will stay here again next time we pass through the area.

We enjoyed this Koa very much. 3 years old so everything is new. Bathrooms very clean. General store well stocked. Fresh palor ice cream tops thing off.

This is our favorite Ohio KOA! Even though there was a minor set back with the pool, the staff found other ways for the kids to have fun!

All the sites are full hookup!! We love the extra large sites that are both long and wide. Super easy to get in and out! Wonderful store with great ice cream! Although the pool wasn’t open, it looked fantastic! Hopefully we can enjoy that on our next pass through. Thank you for having such a great park to stay in.

Nice, clean facility. Great activities for the kids. It will be nicer when the trees grow to provide more shade. It was a shame that the pool wasn't open but understandable and the discount provided due to it being closed was a pleasant surprise. We will be back!

Everyone was friendly and hard working. Little under staffed. One person working front check in and the restaurant area and doing deliveries. Just felt bad for her.

We were unhappy that the pool was closed and we had to leave each day to swim somewhere else. I would’ve gone elsewhere had I known.

Well, quite impressive since our last stay nearly 2 years ago. An entire section as been created/finished and an earlier section finished. All sites have a large concrete pad, nice. Each staff member we encountered were so helpful and knowledgeable. We stayed in the lower half and it was so quiet, even over the Memorial Day weekend. We’ll be returning. again.

Second year in a row they couldn’t get their pool open. Great campground with nice sites and walking trails. This park will keep getting better with time. We’ll be back but hopefully the figure out the pool situation.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the campground but we brought our granddaughter with us and the big thing we paid for was to have the pool for us to play in . Weather was wonderful the whole weekend but no pool ! It was closed the whole weekend , was very disappointed in that and she was so looking forward to getting in the pool. But your campground is very nice and all your staff was wonderful .

We had a wonderful weekend and the grandkids had plenty activities to keep them busy. This KOA provides many activities for children and adults and I absolutely love their camp store. The staff is very nice and hard workers.

The staff was great!! This KOA is so beautiful and clean! Lots of activities for the kids too! The pool wasn’t open, but let’s face it, it was windy and cool, no one’s swimming with that cool wind. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Our recent stay was great, Sites are roomy and the staff as always were amazing. Only recommendation would be to add more gravel to level the sites with the concrete patio as we were unable to close our camper doors due to our steps not being able to completely lower. We ended up having to move the camper partially in the grass on the adjacent site in order get our steps completely down.

We are here for the eclipse and the staff have been so nice. It's a large, clean campground with a family -run feel.

This review is primarily for "Nini's: A Sister Concept", the new breakfast and lunch restaurant located on-site but open to the public. We dined on there on opening day and we're very impressed! They have a good selection of traditional breakfast foods and sandwiches for lunch, including paninis (from which their name is derived.) I had the chicken, bacon, ranch (CBR) panini, and it was delicious! The chicken breast was tender, the bacon was crispy, and the ranch sauce was a perfect complement. My husband had the smash burger panini with their special sauce and Swiss cheese. We split an order of onion rings, which were quite good for a quick service restaurant. Although meals come in to-go containers, there is ample seating there to enjoy your meal. While there we got a view of the campgrounds, which look very nice, with a beautiful pool. The building housing Nini's and the bar was beautiful with big windows.
