Under extreme circumstances, i.e. eclipse maximum capacity your front desk people were terrific! I was impressed by the grounds keepers constantly moving through the grounds and always stopping to answer any questions. The store was incredible and our site was perfect. You made our trip perfect.

Had a great time at KOA in Mt Gilead, OH eclipse weekend. Gravel driveway was mostly level. Concrete pad with built in fire pit was very nice. This campground is still under construction. Will be even better when complete. Definitely recommend it.

We received updates by text starting a couple days before our stay. The employees were very friendly. We arrived just before dark. They escorted us to our spot. We were welcomed with a cute box for the eclipse that included a sticker, a moon pie and sun chips. The park was very clean including the store, public bathrooms, and the grounds. Anything we needed was available at the store.

Great stay for the eclipse- a very busy opening for the campground. We received an eclipse welcome gift. Each day they sent a text if there were updates to the schedule or restaurant and offered delivery of items from the camp store to your site including firewood. Trash pick up was offered daily as well. The site was spacious and all rv sites seemed to have a concrete patio. Highly recommend!

Long, wide campsites right across from the State Park. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms, but they kept running out of TP!!

Enjoyed our stay! Can’t wait to see the property once the pool is open and we have warmer weather. Had fun playing bingo, and the food we ordered was very good. The property is well kept and they have an accommodating staff and a very nice store. So glad we tried a weekend at this property and we will be sure to book another weekend in the near future.

Was relaxing. Check in and out was easy. We love it here at this KOA. So great that firewood and pizza was delivered to our campsite when we ordered it!!! ��

Nice park! Facilities are top notch and we'll maintained. Wish the weather had cooperated so we could have enjoyed the amenities more.

I love this KOA, the sites are large and pretty level. The staff is great. Would highly recommend fellow travelers to give this campground a try.

This was our first stay here and we loved every aspect of our stay. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the outside seating around the fire pit. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. We ordered food from the kitchen and everything was fresh and tasted great. Check in and out was easy and hassle free and we loved that we could text our food order and they deliver

We have been so blessed to camp at such a great campground. From the owners to the staff, everyone is so welcoming and happy to assist you. If you have never stayed here, I suggest a try. Plenty of activities for the kids and a nice little bar and restaurant to relax in. From the delivery of firewood to the Sunday cinnamon rolls, this place is TOP NOTCH! You will not be disappointed.

Full hook ups, good water pressure, Level gravel pads with concrete porch and a fire pit, fast WiFi when the park isn't packed, very friendly and helpful staff, Bar/grill was nice, 1.5 mile walking trail through the old golf course, kid/pet friendly. I highly recommend staying here if in the area. They shut down the store in the winter but have a section of sites that stays open thru winter.

We live this KOA - very clean and well kept, lots of stuff for the kids to do, staff is friendly and helpful and the food in the bar/restaurant is great!!! Definitely our Fav KOA!

The BEST KOA we've ever stayed! The employees were very accommodating. The thing that were available for the children / grandchildren at no cost were tremendous. The food was excellent and the service was great. The sites are very spacious and the cleanliness was excellent. We will stay here again and would highly recommend.

KOAs are our favorite campgrounds. We wanted to take a last weekend before too cold and decided to explore a new KOA. The lots are nicely spaced with concrete patios, built in firepit and newer picnic tables. Restaurant and bar is nice feature. Grounds are well maintained and clean. This is now our KOA of choice! Note: Could use a shower room in the back section.

Not happy at all about how our reservation problem was handled. We booked specific sites in August and they were given to someone else in September and we are the ones that had to move in order to be with the rest of our group!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This minor misunderstanding was resolved instantly upon arrival. The group was never separated, only shifted down but still together. No specific sites were requested at the time of reservation only to be together. I am sorry that small issue ruined your entire experience and resulted in a 3 star.

Stayed at Mt Gilead KOA for the entire summer. Staff does superior job of making this a fun campground. Lots of activities for adults and kids. Clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!

The Hanawalt Family has done a great job with this place in a short amount of time since they opened. Great place to camp! Can't wait to get back next season.
