We only stayed 1 night for a stop along our route. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and kind. Store was stocked with necessities. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Pool was welcoming though it could use a refresher of paint and deck could use more shade and/or umbrellas. It was 91° and not too breezy, so shade would have been welcome. The sites were nicely spaced, we had cement pad.

This was our 3rd winter staying at Moore Haven KOA. The staff kept the facilities very tidy. We are concerned that the emptiness of the campground (15-20 campers out of hundreds of sites) means they may close down, so we didn't want to gamble on reservations for next year.

The campground was very well taken care of in all areas. We used the Laundry Room and it was kept very well with brand new appliances that function perfectly. We also used the showers, men's and women's, and they were impeccably clean and also very well maintained. All staff members were friendly, helpful and courteous. We enjoyed our stay

Adequate for its purpose. Old-style sites perpendicular to road more difficult for parking camper than angled sites. Friendly employees, but not a destination, vacation type place. Fine for a place to stop on our way elsewhere.

The campground is quiet and sites are big enough. The pool is also nice. My biggest complaint is the water quality. The water is slightly brown and tastes bad. All guests I talked to are using bottled water for cooking, ice, coffee, etc. The water system needs serious attention. I won’t camp here again until improvements are made.

We love this KOA. Whether or not someone else will love it too depends on what you’re looking for. Here are the main reasons we love it. Large, spaced out sites. You’re not on top of your neighbor. Very rural. Koa is surrounded by cow fields. It’s quiet and peaceful. Laundry room and shower rooms are clean Pool is delightful. Shopping is 20 min away. We made reservations for next year.

It's terrible. No wifi, broken furniture, cracked pavement sites, no messaging system to notify campers of emergencies, etc. No evidence to update the park, everything must be the original. I believe the owner owns the Davie/Fort Lauderdale KOA which is excellent. In fact I saw the owner working improving this KOA. Don't understand why the owner is not working on Moore Haven.

We had a very good stay.The staff were awesome!!! The lot was very clean. A little far away from everything, a little pricey. But very quiet and relaxing.

If you like quiet than this is place to be. The pool is heated although with the cold weather it couldn't keep up� It may look dirty but it is not. Cleaned every day. They make an amazing pizza at the office.DG a loves are close. Walmart half hr. No sea food restaurants. Tiki bar in Clewston good white fish. But the little town okeechobee has a couple lightsey and fish co. haven't tried parrot

Easy on and off highway for an overnight stay. Minimal road noise. Staff is wonderful. Concrete pull thru site was level. Clean. K9 dog park area was great with one side for large dogs and another for small dogs. Did not use facilities.

It's a large and aging campground in appearance but is comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities were new and easy to use. As others have said, there is not a grocery store within 20 miles, but they do serve pizza at the campground. We used it as a two-night recovery stopover for two nights after a week at Disney and it filled its purpose wonderfully.

The staff and work campers are very nice. But that’s all this place has going for it It’s rundown, in the middle of nowhere ,NO WiFi even though advertised as such. Table and chairs had rust all over it. Could use a good power wash and some paint. We asked to stay extra hour and they wanted to charge us $20 when the place is empty!! No thanks will not return nor recommend!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The KOA needs some work as far as upgrades. It is clean and nice laundry room. You can hear a lot of the traffic from the road all night long and it is in the middle of no where. You have to drive 30 min to get something to eat or shop for food. Very empty with no WiFi, only about 10% full. Needs help.

Very disappointing for a KOA. Staff friendly but all seemed new. Couldn’t recommend things to do in area. Campers spread far apart in large, empty park. Didn’t give chance for interaction. Showers offered no privacy. Long walk (.43 mile round trip) to trash. There was a pancake breakfast -nice. No other planned activities. Enjoyed daily alligator sightings.

We only stayed one night. Staff was super friendly. We felt the site was over priced. If price was 1/2 the price we’d definitely come back. Although some improvements are needed. Especially for the price we paid. And, the location was good for us but many of our followers prefer less remote places for the price.

It was perfect for our needs. a level, pull-thru pad for an overnight stay. The concrete pad, however, was very old, cracked and large chunks on the edges were separated. The other sites were were “grassy-gravel” and in need of refurbishing. There was no trash pick-up and the dumpsters were far away in the back.

This was the worst KOA I have ever stayed at! I have never had a problem with a KOA! THIS KOA IS IN BAD SHAPE! NOTHING WORKS! THE OWNER HAS HAD TWO YEARS TO GET IT IN PROPER WORKING ORDER. Lost 500 hundred dollars there! Will not stay at a KOA anymore!

We had a patio site overlooking the lake. The site clean and well maintained. The office staff was friendly and helpful. Overall our camping experience at Moore Haven KOA was excellent. We already have return reservations.

Very nice campground VERY VERY NICE STAFF very clean sites. We played bingo they had card game nite. FREE pancakes on saturday. Awesome KOA Will be back.

Nice, clean, peaceful campground with excellent customer service from not only the new managment but from the workers also. Management was very professional and polite. The workers would stop what they were doing to ask if there was anything they could assist you with no mater the situation. I my family and I highly recommend this campground.

We absolutely LOVE this campground & is one of the few we will be re visiting. The customer service is above anything iv ever experienced & everyone is very accommodating to any needs we have!! I highly suggest this campground for everyone!!
