The staff were fantastic but had their hands tied in being able to provide a campsite for $45 with power instead of charging $75. There was no shade anywhere and tarps are not allowed due to wind conditions. The flies are bad and the bitting ants were problematic.

We were only there for one night on our way north after a stay in the Keys. The location was great for where we wanted to stop for the night but is out in the middle of nowhere. The campground itself was fine - all the typical KOA Holiday features and all were clean and well-maintained. Most sites were relatively level gravel, and the hookups were in good shape and convenient. Pretty pricey.

Absolutely loved the stay. Very welcoming and the whole place was up kept very nice, very clean. Plenty of activity for the family nice rec room with pool tables , ping pong board games , outside games like horse shoes ,Bags, shuffle board all very well kept. Plenty of fishing 5 ponds with lillypads, great fishing catch and release for the next person. All and all great place def be back.

It was an ok place to stay given the difficulty there is in finding other camping spots in Florida especially due to hurricane Ian's destruction on the west coast. the price was reasonable; we switched spots and really liked the spot that we moved to. It is a bit remote. The camp ground has a ways to go to bring it up to a better KOA standard; and evidently they are working on that.

We hav stayed here before in a tent with no concerns, though this time, there were noisy/diesel trucks late at night and one of them left their diesel truck idling for what seemed like an hour around 2:00 AM. Recommend NO diesel trucks allowed in campground during "Quite Hours". Park them at the entrance. We did not stay the 2nd night we paid for. It would be nice to say more-word limit on this fo

The folks at this campground are very personable and try to accommodate the needs of their campers. Weekly community campfires were lovely with music and bonfire. the pool temp was a bit of a challenge but they worked to improve the chill. They arrange for food trucks and entertainment routinely. The shuffle board courts are not really in any shape to play but they have corn hole, petanque.

Our second two week visit to this park. Good destination for relaxation and nice weather. Recommend pizza kitchen stay open later than 5:30. Plan to return next winter.

Not up to the standards that I have observed in other KOA'S. This one should be listed as KIA. Sand pits in front and around sites. Dirty and broken patio slabs. Rusty water. Broken laundry appliances. No propane (although they have the tank and implements). Tiny dig run with no exercise equipment as in other KOA'S. No sociable or friendly tenants. Pool closes too early (dusk). Etc.

Many upgrades are need to meet the KOA standards that I expect, It was a clean campsite overall. the staff was friendly and helpfull. The showers were clean but not functional, one was out of order for the month stay, the handicapp shower was poorly designed and equipment was not working well. Their were cement areas that were a tripping hazzard, the laundry room had 10 dryers and 10 washers, 50%

Stay was ok. So much potential for this place. With a few changes I would highly recommend it. Heated pool should actually be heated. Liked that there were many activities. Some pressure washing on the buildings wouldn’t hurt. Wish shopping was a little closer. Staff were very friendly and nice.

Our site was clean and the campground was solid - calm, quiet, and with a decent laundry room. The change machine wasn't working but the front office was happy to make change for me. I'd recommend doing grocery shopping before arriving because it was a bit of a trek to find one. I felt the price was reasonable and I'd recommend this campground if you're looking for a relaxing camping experience.

This park has a lot of potential. After reading reviews was afraid what we would find. The staff was nicel (shout out to Brenda). They had several activities and food trucks. A nice pool,. activity room and clean bathrooms, mailroom. We could see they are doing upgrades. Cons: more dumpsters, fix roads, laundry rm ( several out of order). Spray to control cockroach. Not close to anything.

Management doesn't treat guests like they want them to return. If it wasn't for the activity people Sue and Kim Bo the place would have been very disappointing!

Staff is fine. Services are not. Smell from sewer is constant. No trash pickup. Top rates for sitting in the middle of no where! Half of the washers and dryers are out of order. Cable TV only works if you have a smart TV. WiFi is slow at best. You’ve been warned….this is not a place you want to park for long.

Moore Haven is ok. It could be so much better. Moore Haven is located 20 miles from the nearest grocery store, or good restaurant. The availability of essential items would be nice. One of the roads has a 3 wheelbarrow size pothole now for two years. A fence was erected to keep traffic out which took more effort than filling the hole. Improve customer service and convenience in Moore Haven. Please

The staff was friendly, upon arrival. The grounds need work!! Very poor lighting when having to walk up to use shower. Had lights but many not on. The pool closed at 5:00!! That’s ridiculous. Seems to be quite the click, & as long as you’re a resident, seemed preferential. Breaker kept blowing with AC & hot water heater on. No dumpster on exit, had to drive to back.

Poor management. Found couldn’t believe anything they said. Pool out of commission for December and January. Laundry facilities horrible. Half of machines always out of order. They never emptied quarters and machines couldn’t work then. The facilities are really run down. We met a lot of really nice people staying there. We now realize we can’t rely ok KOA name anymore!

The pool was broken for a good while and then when it was fixed it was dirty. The sides were greasy and the bottom had debris all over it. The laundry room had 10 washers and dryers but about half were out of order most of the 2 months we were there. Some of the staff was rude and some were very nice. I paid $950 for a month-long stay had to leave 2 days into it because of harassment I write a mobility scooter and I was constantly being told to slow down when others jog faster than I do the sideways skateboard with the glitter on it the kids ride is faster than me my attorney will hear about this

Had a wonderful stay, staff friendly and helpful as were the fellow campers. Centrally lacated to the things we were interested in in southern Florida. Only complaint was the frequent sewer smell we had at our site. Would definitely camp there again.

First we were put in a campsite too small for our camper. When hooking up we blocked the entire road and onto another site. Our site was weeds and sand and everything outside was full of roaches. The highlight was the ponds but they had trash in them. The staff was exceptional. Very nice pet area. Bingo night was super fun.

Extremely overpriced. Crowded campground, crumbling concrete on many pads. One working men's shower for 200+ sites, and the shower has no privacy -- the shower door opens directly onto the general men's room area. Yuk.The Wifi was OK.

Stayed a week. It was farther away from the beaches than I wanted but the place was well kept, the pool was nice and the staff was friendly.

Le personnel à l’accueil est extraordinaire et très accommodant. Brenda et Amber sont des femmes très gentille et nous ont beaucoup aidé. Nous reviendrons probablement. Nous aurions aimé pouvoir réserver notre terrain pour l’année suivante, mais j’aime pas que l’on ne puisse pas me le garantir.

Had it not been for the wonderful people I met being in the middle of nowhere I would have left. The manager and staff are not friendly - especially the woman manager - she never accommodated anything. The SMELL of that sewer plant sucked, never could leave windows open. It was so bad many days that we had to leave, because I was getting so sick. The dog park sucks too. Thank God for new meets

Lots of things to do if you are snow birds. About 7 minutes from Moore Haven land 45 minutes from Ft Myers and Sebring, FL. Free pancakes on Saturday mornings beginning in January and ending last weekend in March. Close to Lake Okeechobee if you like fishing or boating.

This was a very quiet park, clean and in a great location for our needs. They do have alligators in the pond just don't walk near it. We observed the park host cleaning all furniture and septic connections when rigs left their park which was nice. Office staff was courteous and helpful, small store. Laundry facilities with new machines, they did have problems with people overloading the machines so at times they were out of order but they always had someone come to clear them.

Our stay at Moore Haven KOA was wonderful and we enjoyed the stay. This is a great KOA Campground. The staff are very friendly and were responsive to any concerns we had. They upgraded us at no charge to a larger site so we could park our HDT on the site. There are daily/weekly events for all campers. (i.e. Thursday night community fire pit night, Weekly Corn Hole/Shuffle Board/Boccee Ball Tournaments, Various Food Truck nights, Weekly Pancake Breakfast, Freshly hand made pizza made daily at the office for purchase, and much more. A Pickle Ball Court. Vehicle/Rig wash station. Two 18 hole Golf Courses and two 9 hole Golf Courses within a 30-minute drive Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail (LOST) near by. The LOST is a 110-mile bike/hiking trail that encircles lake Okeechobee.
