It’s a very nice and clean campground. Bathroom and Pool were new and clean. Staff was very friendly and the fresh pizza was awesome!

Very peaceful and quiet. The cabin was awesome. Very clean and a washer and dryer in the bathroom. The couple that run the campground are super nice. I can't wait to go back.

We will be back. We travel thru Florida regularly. The hosts,Mike and his wife, were so accommodating in our after hours arrival. We enjoyed the pool, park and talking with the host thru our stay. Clean and quiet campground!

It’s a great pit stop for us. We have stayed before going through. In off season not crowded at all. We got a basic site which is just fine. The new owners greeted us on arrival. Nice and friendly. Good luck to them and will probably see you again

Took my 3 yr old grandson. The bathrooms are very clean, the pool and sites also nice and clean. The added chairs are a nice touch. What would make it more enjoyable in the Florida sun is sun umbrellas at the pool

While this is a 3 star rating ~ I am confident it will soon be a 5 star location. There are new owners who are in process of all sorts of upgrades. The current staff is exceptional and so pleasant. Keep in mind there is not a lot to do in Moore Haven, but Lake Placid and Sebring are close and great little towns to explore. We will be back!

We went off season so there weren't any activities happening. Place was very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I enjoyed the property and the front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. The campsite was pretty empty and I was told it was down season. I was disappointed in the gift shop because it was very empty and looked almost abandoned. The grounds hardly have shade and alot of the lot cement platforms need replacing. Over all it was a nice weekend!

Ponds had too many lillies to fish, 4 to 5 foot gator in 1 pond where you could fish. Store was stoked with nothing. Otherwise if you want to relax and do nothing it's a good place to do so

The stay was ok. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Our only complaint is their new fiber TV service does not work with a lot of TV’s therefor we had no TV service.

Stayed in the cottage two years in a row, spacious and all rooms fully equipped with necessities. Love having the washer and dryer, very nice bonus:) The housekeeper and check in staff was very helpful and always there if we needed something!! Thank you, Yes, we will come again !!

Very convenient place to stay during our journey. Easy registration and easy spot to back into. Only downside is that the facilities in general are in need of updating and upgrading. The place looks frozen in time from the 90s

Actually we spent the winter here. The workkampers were super nice. The cleaning crew did a great job. Kimbo & Sue did a great job with activities. We were very disappointed that the pool heater was broke most of the snowbird season. Campground could us a bit of landscaping. Also needs something done with water system, way to much algae in the water system, water was green.

If you enjoy a rural setting this is the place to be. However, there were many activities at the campground, but very few area attractions without driving a distance.

Seems more like a journey than a holiday camp. The place was practically empty (15-20% full) and yet they jammed us in with two other camping rigs next to us. Concrete “patios” were old and broken-up.

The staff are great! The owner is not. The pool was cold with inadequate circulation. The laundry machines didn’t work half the time due to the manager being unable to empty the change from them. Owner doesn’t trust his managers. Smell of raw sewage at processing plant and in the park was unacceptable. Water pressure was low with green algae, floating within your system.

Great wifi, our site was number 7 so by the clubhouse. Nice folks. Pool was nice but not heated, it was very hot so we did not mind. There is no shade so just be aware of that if it would be an issue for you.

It appears to be a works in progress as far as some of the infastructure. Overall the facility was clean, and the staff was courteous. The shining stars were the activity directors, who absolutely knocked it out of the park. They were fun, outgoing, and inclusive of everyone in all activities. We even met some really nice Canadians there.��

The campsite needs alot of work and upgrades I will say that the employees were all very nice and helpful. That is the one asset to this KOA employees are great it’ll say like world time or whatever alarm.

Lots of potential but seems really run down. Pool is always a problem. Roads need to be replaced in the worst way. Some rental cabins are good but the 2 in back are gross. Plans for back building are positive but need to get going. All washers & dryers need to be working along with bill changer

We enjoyed our stay so much!! Great activities and everything was so clean. Will definitely go back. Sue and Kimbo did an awesome job on all the activities there.

Pool was old and was supposed to be heated. Showers were clean but in need of updating. KOA is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by cattle farms. Grocery stores and restaurants were far away (30 miles).

Park is in a remote location yet short drives to cities. Clean resort friendly staff. We were backed in on a waterfront site which was nice.

The staff were fantastic but had their hands tied in being able to provide a campsite for $45 with power instead of charging $75. There was no shade anywhere and tarps are not allowed due to wind conditions. The flies are bad and the bitting ants were problematic.

Lots of things to do if you are snow birds. About 7 minutes from Moore Haven land 45 minutes from Ft Myers and Sebring, FL. Free pancakes on Saturday mornings beginning in January and ending last weekend in March. Close to Lake Okeechobee if you like fishing or boating.

This was a very quiet park, clean and in a great location for our needs. They do have alligators in the pond just don't walk near it. We observed the park host cleaning all furniture and septic connections when rigs left their park which was nice. Office staff was courteous and helpful, small store. Laundry facilities with new machines, they did have problems with people overloading the machines so at times they were out of order but they always had someone come to clear them.

Our stay at Moore Haven KOA was wonderful and we enjoyed the stay. This is a great KOA Campground. The staff are very friendly and were responsive to any concerns we had. They upgraded us at no charge to a larger site so we could park our HDT on the site. There are daily/weekly events for all campers. (i.e. Thursday night community fire pit night, Weekly Corn Hole/Shuffle Board/Boccee Ball Tournaments, Various Food Truck nights, Weekly Pancake Breakfast, Freshly hand made pizza made daily at the office for purchase, and much more. A Pickle Ball Court. Vehicle/Rig wash station. Two 18 hole Golf Courses and two 9 hole Golf Courses within a 30-minute drive Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail (LOST) near by. The LOST is a 110-mile bike/hiking trail that encircles lake Okeechobee.
